Was looking here and there, in the forum, many users managing to exchange their own "IDs" of various comms services, like Steam, Discord, etc.
Why not placing online a TeamSpeak server, then, instead of relying to others' services (we can also contro very few)?
I did it on a machine (Apple's MacPro) in my LAN, a few time ago, to communicate with my friends: even if TS may seem "old tech" I saw that

1. creating a (software) TS server is really easy
2. the same as defining accounts and privileges
3. communications needs very few bandwitdh, as TS was made with that target in mind
4. it needs really few machine's resources
5. TS is still actively developed
6. can be privately used for free (this must be better inspected: at the moment I can see " up to 512 connections as Non Profit ": pretty sure there is some opensource alternative also, like some mix of XMPP and SIP) or it costs very few anyway, having our own servers.

I mean: nowadays is ok to use other services, as Asgardia have not developed internal ones yet but, for the future, it should be considered into the whole Communication's Infrastructure (like VoIP-phones, IMs, etc.).

Accordingly to the ongoing study/process of better understanding the involved components and technologies, so to formalize a project proposal to submit to Asgardia.Civic, I'm updating the initial "feature request". Further updates will take place as soon as we'll better define the details.

Subject: Voice Routing Services
Description: flexible ed interoperable Voice Services, usable by means of various kinds of "clients" to authenticate and communicate, at various levels, by means of a "routing service" built into Asgardia's IT network structure.
Proponents: @ Elwe Thor , @ Inductive Soul (and anyone other who knows these kind of systems, or just wishes to help: we'll be glad to expand the proponents' group)

Table of Contents

1. Voice Routing servers (VRs): PBX-like system which will be used to establish point-to-point, multi-point or broadcast connection between clients.
2. Network: various kinds of networks (e.g. WAN, LAN, WiFi, radio, sat, etc.), all supporting TCP/IP.
3. NOC (Network Operation Center): Voice Routing servers' management, which can coincide with the current Asgardia's one (AIRC IT Team). The structure (persons) dedicated to manage the clients' software/hardware, configurations (terminal kinds and capabilities), authorizations (see below), helpdesk, failures, usage statistics, etc.
4. NAC (Network Accounting Center): the structure (persons) which will feed the traffic data to our Ministry of Finance, to allow them calculating fees, at the time Asgardia's government will decide the service, whole or in part, will be pay for use (this structure may be the same as NOC). At the moment the system is intended for (asgardians') internal use, for free, so that's a "planned feature".
5. software clients: voice (/video/IM/filetransfer) clients, for the various operative systems (at least the mainstream ones: Android, iOS, Windows, Mac, Linux) to use by terminals to authentication to Asgardia's network, to use the "name/address resolution" features to establish the PtP/MP/Broadcast connections.

6. Service's subdomain: a subdomain section, into asgardia.space one, to uniquely identify the Voice Services (PBX servers and services), so that they can run separately from other current or future ones. Proposed subdomain is voip. asgardia.space .
7. Authentication server(s): implementation, into the current authentication service, of the "extensions" (info fields) needed by the Voice Routing Service in terms of
   - access: basic authorization level which allows/disallows the system's usage to blocked users, IPs, etc.
   - profile: VR specific "class of usage" (also called C lass o f S ervice), so to distinguish the various "levels" (e.g. "foreign", "governative", "personal", etc.)
   - accounting: any data related to accounting (this is a reserved option , at the moment, as the system is intended for "internal use" (by asgardians) and for free)

This ToC will expand as more details will be available.

If I become a Mayor of my area I will work to increase the activity and togetherness of Asgardians in my area in accordance of the Asgardian principles and do my best to convince people in my area to join Asgardia if they feel that Asgardia is something they want to be a part of and it has something to offer for them.

I would also, of course, maintain good relationship between me, my district and the Asgardian Parlament and others who relate to Asgardia when ever that is among my responsibilities.

Dear Asgardian Followers from the great city of Kuala Lumpur, from the Wilayah Persekutuan and from the Klang Valley!

First as a tourist and for business, I have been coming and passing through Kuala Lumpur off and on for the last 20 years for well over 60 trips! So when I had to relocate with my family after having lived 8 years in China, it just made sense to choose to come and live in the muddy confluence! :-)
I have now been a KL resident for the last two years and have been enjoying my everyday life here, the different parts of our city, its culture and of course, going mamak with friends!

I own two businesses and mostly work online which allows me to dedicate time to meaningful activities with my wife and friends. I’ve lived in the Cheras area, in Bangsar and I am now relocated in Wangsa Maju.

I’ve been involved in the building of our Nation for over a year now. I’ve organised the first meeting of Asgardian Followers in Kuala Lumpur to celebrate the First Anniversary of the Founding of our Nation last October (see the pictures in my blog post http://bit.ly/AsgardiaKL1) and have had the chance and the honour to be in Vienna at the end of June to witness the Inauguration of our Head of Nation Dr. Igor Ashurbeyli and meet all the Members of Parliament who were present at the opening of the First Parliamentary Session.

For the last few months, I have been in regular contact with the Administration of Dr. Ashurbeyli and also with several of our local Parliamentary Representatives. As such, I believe to be a good candidate able to foster the progress and development of our Nation in its current plans in Kuala Lumpur and its region, in the whole of Malaysia and in the wider South East Asia.

The role of a Mayor at this time for Asgardia is to bring our Nation from its present virtual and online state to the birth and sustaining of a thriving community life at the grassroots level in a given earthly locality.

At this time, we are just users of a website, part of an online group of people believing in the future of humanity as being beyond this terrestrial existence, in the immensity of space and getting ready to launch its conquest which is the reason why, for most of us, we chose to join the Space Kingdom of Asgardia in the first place and accepted its Constitution!

But it is now time to transition from being an online community to becoming a real life Nation, going from the virtual to the reality of our Malaysian lives, greeting and meeting each other in our beautiful city of KL which, I believe, can become a beacon of light in the development of our Nation for the whole of South East Asia with its diversity and cultural wealth, an example of success for the whole of Asgardia.

Together, let’s make Kuala Lumpur the best example of what « One Humanity, One Unity » truly means!

The following terms and conditions apply to most positions.

* Application. Candidate must complete a non­disclosure agreement and perform an intake interview. Must be verified member of Asgardia.

* Attitude. We encourage all volunteers to conduct themselves professionally and responsibly. Be respectful of other members and volunteers. Commit to volunteering and to attending meetings. Work thoroughly. Communicate schedule conflicts as they arise.

* Skills. All positions require English Language proficiency; Bilingual required for Regional or National work, if applicable. Computer proficiency and reliable Internet connection required, including ability to voice/video conference and to manage social media presence. Professional communication skills required.

* Experience. Experience in similar positions preferred but not required. Asgardia is a meritocracy; unless otherwise required for legal or financial reasons (such as for Chapter Advocate or Chapter Assistant), CV/Resume are appreciated but not required. Promotions are performed from within; it is expected that a volunteer on track for a senior staff position begins in lower positions to earn experience.

* Work Conditions. Most activity is work-­from-­home with some travel possible. Expect flexible hours with scheduled appointments; weekly time commitments vary by position but range from 5-­20 hours per week.. Extended time using the computer and internet may be required.

* Compensation. These are currently volunteer positions subject to incentives and benefits available to any volunteer staff of Civic.Asgardia, such as private staff functions or memberships as they become available. Free position-­related training is available. No insurances are provided. All volunteers will become affiliated with their National Community Chapter and encouraged to participate in programs and events.

Social Media department of Civic.Asgardia needs Social Media Specialists to moderate and manage global platforms for our general membership or for your National Chapter of Asgardia. Moderation duties in Asgardia Forums and Facebook groups required; members with strong skills in Twitter or Reddit may help manage those platforms instead of Facebook. Strong English language skills required. Work with a Chapter may also require editing of Facebook pages.

*** Graphics Designers

Projects department of Civic.Asgardia needs Graphics Designers who can work with a variety of original and themed material for mobile apps, documents, and websites. Expect to work on varied assignments for several departments. Ability to work with team is needed. Apply with samples of work or link to portfolio.

*** Software Developers (Swift, Java)

Projects department of Civic.Asgardia needs a pair of Swift Developers and a pair of Java Developers to volunteer in the growth of our mobile application. Ability to code in Python is also needed in addition to either Swift or Java.

** Social Media Editors for Community National Pages.

Chapters department of Civic.Asgardia seeks help managing specialized groups of members in each country. Editors will engage and mobilize members through active social media participation, will create and implement programs and events in coordination with Civic.Asgardia departments, and will manage all social media channels for their community chapter. Strong English language skills, strong social media experience, and strong teamwork skills are required.

** Translators

Localisation department of Civic.Asgardia needs translators to work in teams to localise documents and event transcripts. Ability to work within deadline is important - some assignments involve translation of live speeches within hours of the event broadcast. Experience with video subtitling a plus. Strong English language skills and strong teamwork skills are required.

** Specific need for translations between each of the following languages and English: Arabic, German, Greek (Modern), English, Persian (Farsi), French, Hindi, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, Chinese,

** Events Specialists

Events department of Civic.Asgardia seeks members experienced in creating, developing, and implementing programs and events for adults, teens, and children. Primary efforts will be to make activities to engage members of a digital nation, with other tasks to make written training materials that support events at community chapters. Strong English language skills, very strong writing skills, and strong teamwork skills are required.  Multi-cultural experience a plus.

** Writer / Researchers

Administration department of Civic.Asgardia needs documentation writers to research, create, and design material that aids Civic departments, trains Asgardian volunteers, and guides community chapters. Must be familiar with Google Drive. Excellent English language skills required; professional editing/writing experience a plus.

Society can only develop if its people are educated; In a society that moves toward production, exploration and innovation, the workers who will achieve the objectives will be those who have the capacity to use knowledge and imagination, people who add value to their work by the way they were educated and how they focused Their skills towards the creation of a fully and fully developed society. The problem in today's world is linked to how the education of children and young people has been focused on creating adults able to solve problems mechanically (and machines could do so in less time) but not to think about what to do with them and how to find solutions More effective to what they are. We are actively seeking help for the following roles. Brief overview of positions follows. Position descriptions, organizational structure and details about our training steps are linked below.

The current recruiting period ends 15 April 2017.

All positions receive training. Volunteers are encouraged to work with us long-term for at least six-months. Scheduling is flexible to work around daily life. The daily time commitment varies by position, typically 1-2 hours/day for moderation duties and basic advocate work.

Each position needs people who possess fluency in both the English Language as well as local language fluency, who have experience using Facebook groups/pages and other discussion forums, and who can maintain a calm, professional, diplomatic manner when confronted with debate. Get ready to multitask and work well within a global team. Reliability and communication are needed.

Social Media Specialists (Moderators)

The need for balanced moderation continues. There are over 100 areas across several social media platforms which need to be monitored and supervised. Moderation staff does more than enforce rules. They are also content creators who start lively, creative discussions and help the group stay engaged. Training period includes a series of steps to develop proficiency with moderation skills, such as active engagement, application of our Code of Conduct, and regular observation of discussion threads. There will be an application process and an interview. This is a long-term volunteer position that will work closely with Civic.Asgardia and Asgardia’s Community Chapters. We hope to work with our staff for months to come.

National Chapter Advocates and Assistant Advocates

We work directly with our members through our Community Chapters. In the future, there will be member groups in many cities around the globe. For now, we begin with National Chapters in countries that have a significant population of Asgardians.

Each National Chapter is led by an Advocate who coordinates the staff and resources of that organization, serving as a single point-of-contact for an Asgardia Chapter. The Advocate works with the Assistant Advocates to create an active, engaging, and informative presence that connects local members with the global Asgardia community and which promotes the mission of NGO Asgardia.

All staff of National Chapters are expected to manage the social media presence for their group, helping to moderate Forums, Facebook pages, Twitter accounts and other media platforms. Asgardia orientation training and moderation training are provided.

Many National Chapters have yet to be formed, but these existing chapters need additional staff.
