So with the mayoral elections about to draw to a close i have a feeling brisbane, logan, goldcoast, ipswich and sunshine coast will not meet their individual 100 citizen minimum for local election candidates to be considered. This in mind i think we should organise a gathering of GSE Asgardians and elect an unofficial peoples choice mayor to help the Asgardian population of the GSE reach its 100 citizen minimum so that we can have an official mayor next elections

Have noticed several Asgardian based in the great south east of Qld Australia have accidently put their suburbs as cities. So, since i missed out on running for mayor elections im going to focus on rectifying the issue of incorrect data regarding cities in the G.S.E and run for mayor next elections.

Here we are, one human race under one golden dream to unite humanity upon the forefront of the dawn of this new age. We are but specs of dust in this cosmic soup we have the great priviledge to spectate a fleeting breath of its history, and maybe if we as one people work hard enough we may come to understand but a fraction of this universe and just maybe be able to point our race into the future.

This article may introduce financial and economic specific terms and concepts. The definitions are referenced at the bottom of the article.


For a physical nation to take part in todays globalist world, the first priority is to balance a nation's specialist productivity [1], its ability to supply this to other nations that demand it, and to supply it to themselves. Essentially this is the management of the balance of payments. [2]

However, Asgardia's existence piggy backs on existing physical nations that manage their very own balance of payments which is their economic wealth. Since Asgardia is not a physical nation, physical nations have to support the wellbeing of their citizens, including Asgardians.

This piggy backing exists until citizens can physically find their own space to create economic productivity from. The freeloading is obviously only minimal since to survive within a physical nation you have to participate in their economic industries.

So in a nutshell, any productivity from an Asgardian that impedes their physical home nations productivity, takes away economic productivity, and transfers it to Asgardia.


With the above landscape of a nation's wealth, a few questions can leave us to ponder the direction of Asgardia -

1) Can Asgardia create and specialise in economic productivity?
1.1) Who will buy this productivity?

1.2) Who will provide for the education of this economic specialisation?

2) Will Asgardians be paid for their economic productivity?
3) If an Asgardian is a recognised sovereign nationality, how would this impact their local physical nation's foriegn tax income laws?
4) Will double taxation be prevented?
5) Are more than 30% of Asgardians expected to engage in Asgardian economic productivity?
5.1) If it is not expected, then what is the difference between Asgardia being a UN recognised sovereign nation, versus, Asgardia just being an "online member dispersed futurist utopia club"?

As evening sets on my first official Asgardian day, I remain optimistically hopeful, and thankful. Hopeful for the promise of what Asgardia could become, and thankful I can be a part of it as such an early stage. I strongly believe that human evolution, and perhaps even survival, is inherently linked to our need to use our rationality and compassion for a greater good. We can't be alone in the Universe. On sheers odds alone, the probability of us being alone is enormous. But more than that. I am driven by the search for the truth. The ultimate meaning to life, the Universe and everything.

Nothing else has worked nor even looked like working, hopefully this may work. I have been involved in politics for 50 years and have witnessed first hand how the political process as it stands is bankrupt. Struggling through any political machine  will only lead to success if you become as morally bankrupt as the machine. Something completely outside the existing systems is needed.

It Has Started

Hello to everyone reading this page and thank you for supporting me in my endeavor to become a member of the governing body of ASGARDIA.

This is a long journey but i believe together, we can truly make a difference in the world.

As new updates come out and as i gather more support from my fellow ASGARDIANS, i will issue more posts to inform people of my position and how close we are to completing this journey.

In becoming a citizen of Asgardia, in ratifying our; constitution, flag and anthem we have all nailed our colours to the mast. Our colours are the skins of all nations, and the mast stands tall above what we hope to be the flag-ship of a new fleet of human endeavour, the journey from the cradle of our world into the nursery of our solar system and from there in to the great wide cosmos. To reach true maturity as a species we need to set aside our lust for personnel glory or gain and set our sights on the daunting task of stripping away our self imposed delusions whilst retaining the deep spiritual and emotional connection we share as a species. The goal is to grow without growing old, to open our minds without closing our hearts. Let me walk that tightrope and represent our unified goal of a future humanity worthy of inheriting the stars, for I fear no dissenting opinion or advice nor do I seek personal glory for in truth I don't want the influence, I just want to see the balance between these two seemingly opposing aspects of human nature.

Currently I work in IT, perform in live theatre (both musical and classic stage) and spend most of my online time producing art, debating human rights and in general trying to practice the mantra "Think with your head, feel with your heart".

I do the "talksy" with a smattering of southern Chinese (Mandarin), Japanese, German and would you believe bits of Swedish that I've picked up from friends and voracious reading. I don't speak or understand enough to claim any general familiarity with any language other than english but i'm always learning bits and pieces from friends and casual usage of programs like 'Hello Chinese' and 'Duo-Lingo'.

What I think is more important is that i want to communicate with everyone and to me that does not mean they should speak my language, rather i should speak theirs if i want to understand them more completely.

As an item of policy I believe we should as a nation encourage the breaking down of language barriers whilst still maintaining those unique languages for cultural and historical purposes, the formation of a true lingua-franca or in this case Lingua-Asgardia.
