It Has Started

Hello to everyone reading this page and thank you for supporting me in my endeavor to become a member of the governing body of ASGARDIA.

This is a long journey but i believe together, we can truly make a difference in the world.

As new updates come out and as i gather more support from my fellow ASGARDIANS, i will issue more posts to inform people of my position and how close we are to completing this journey.

In becoming a citizen of Asgardia, in ratifying our; constitution, flag and anthem we have all nailed our colours to the mast. Our colours are the skins of all nations, and the mast stands tall above what we hope to be the flag-ship of a new fleet of human endeavour, the journey from the cradle of our world into the nursery of our solar system and from there in to the great wide cosmos. To reach true maturity as a species we need to set aside our lust for personnel glory or gain and set our sights on the daunting task of stripping away our self imposed delusions whilst retaining the deep spiritual and emotional connection we share as a species. The goal is to grow without growing old, to open our minds without closing our hearts. Let me walk that tightrope and represent our unified goal of a future humanity worthy of inheriting the stars, for I fear no dissenting opinion or advice nor do I seek personal glory for in truth I don't want the influence, I just want to see the balance between these two seemingly opposing aspects of human nature.

Currently I work in IT, perform in live theatre (both musical and classic stage) and spend most of my online time producing art, debating human rights and in general trying to practice the mantra "Think with your head, feel with your heart".

I do the "talksy" with a smattering of southern Chinese (Mandarin), Japanese, German and would you believe bits of Swedish that I've picked up from friends and voracious reading. I don't speak or understand enough to claim any general familiarity with any language other than english but i'm always learning bits and pieces from friends and casual usage of programs like 'Hello Chinese' and 'Duo-Lingo'.

What I think is more important is that i want to communicate with everyone and to me that does not mean they should speak my language, rather i should speak theirs if i want to understand them more completely.

As an item of policy I believe we should as a nation encourage the breaking down of language barriers whilst still maintaining those unique languages for cultural and historical purposes, the formation of a true lingua-franca or in this case Lingua-Asgardia.

Michael Anthony Wuersching, born July 30th 1995, will remembered in history.

At the time of writing this, it is the 12/07/2017, and I hope to achieve lots of things in my life.

The next couple of decades will be interesting, if I live a day longer. For all I know, humanity will be extinct at the time this is found, and somebody or something rather, will find this and try and piece together a civilisation long forgotten.

My personal achievements compared to that of humanities mean nothing.

For my name, will most likely be discarded, like every other name in the past, present, or future.

What are we, in the grand scale of the universe?

I work as a program manager in a firm that specializes in the manufacture of lithium ion battery packs. I believe in technology and the importance of maths, science and art in the advancement of humanity. I look forward to watching Asgardia grow into a group of like minded citizens reaching out beyond our earthly sphere.

I am an Inventor who has discovered that most problems I set out to solve were solved long ago and the solutions and miracle technologies withheld - kept in deep black opps for control and profit.

hey guys im just going to be quick, what we need if we are starting up a new space society isnt macho down your neck people but instead we need poeple who are calm collective and can think about problems before acting them out, while i do not ask to play a big role in this society i would love to be an advisor or have some type of input to further the advancement of all futuristic life
