Bio - ir. Luc Vautmans, MSc.

° 07 January 1971 - married - 3 children.

Luc Vautmans is an academic civil engineer (Master in Engineering - KU Leuven) with specializations in energy conversion, nuclear techniques and aerospace design. Luc complemented his basic education with numerous additional courses in business administration, corporate finance, sales and leadership, including the Executive Development Program of the Boston Business School (Class of '11). Luc acts free(lance) as a sr. management consultant in aerospace (Executive Director Satellite Projects) to Asgardia & IARC.

Luc started his career in the space business, with Verhaert Space (the current QinetiQ Space) in Kruibeke. In +13 years Luc realized about 15 large projects for human spaceflight in close collaboration with ESA, NASA and the Russian space agency Roskosmos (POCKOCMOC), including the 5 major experiments that the Belgian astronaut Frank De Winne performed during his 2 space flights. Luc held successively posts as Project Manager, Contracts Manager, Head of Project Office (aerospace), General Manager Belgium (petro-chemical multinational) and CPMO for 2 sister companies (off-shore sector) and guided teams of  +200 employees.

In 2013, at the age of 42, Luc was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma after a routine examination; a very aggressive cancer, metastasized through more than 40 large tumors to various vital organs. The statistical prognosis on overall survival was 3 months with a survival probability of only 3%. That is now more than 5 years ago and it is expected that Luc will also bring his most important project to a successful conclusion. In the last 5 years since his diagnosis, Luc has made about +50 trips with the family, with each of the children separately and with some loyal friends: skydiving (skydiving) at exotic locations, skiing, paragliding, sailing and long solo journeys by motorcycle. Luc is convinced that our brain is a very good pharmacy for our body and called his modest therapy 'Adren@lpine' (Adrenaline + Alps). Luc documented his bucket list adventures in +90 edited videoclips for his children.

Luc is co-founder and board member of Melanoompunt.be (non-profit), the first patient organization in Belgium for melanoma patients and their next-of-kin and also Patient Advocate for the Melanoma Patient Network Europe (MPNE).

Luc is the president of Skydive Antwerp - Hoevenen (non profit), a skydive club with its own turbine aircraft and an annual turnover of + 200k€.

Luc likes good food, excellent wines, special beers, smart books and bad jokes.

Our universe is run by universal clocks. These clocks are for example made out of heavy weight cores fighting for the absolute center between them. While doing so they send out vibrations called gravitational waves which come in different waves, frequencies and oscillations. It is this central clockwork that dictates a whole environment like for example a whole galaxy. All hot and magnetic objects like stars, our sun and earth are influenced by this. There are returning cycles wich are caused by oscillations between all these different objects in space and time. Recently in the news where the pole shift of earth and the sun spot cycle from the sun. I guess we should keep a better eye at these clockworks nearby or far away because they are the triggers for unusual and critical events in the universe.

Energy and mass, 2 interchangeable forms of energy. The mass as kinetic energy and the energy as electrical energy with sub-particles. Let us put this in an example as a black-hole that recycles itself true a galaxy or nearby star. If we put mass together with mass by pressure or gravity then we create heavier mass with as byproduct energy. This energy is released as a jet of energy with sub-particles. On the outside of the galaxy or black-hole the energy with the sub-particles falls into the gravity of the disk or black-hole where by it comes in contact with lightweight mass and gases. The gas or lightweight mass absorbes the energy and becomes lighter by this process, or at least that is what i think would be happening. Also i think that the element carbon has a function in this or is a sort of residual product in this process. So to short link this, a galaxy or black-hole makes heavy mass and the byproduct is energy which breaks down the mass that is nearby the outside.

Imagine that someday all big planets in the solar-system would align with the sun, as some close by other big heavy weights like stars or star-systems, sun-like-wise spoken. Most of them, if not all, have magnetic forces that reach far in to space, like for example that from our sun. I know that if you align magnets that the forces go up. If we then also take in account the forces of gravitation which in my view are the opposite forces from the magnetic field, then i would not be surprised that here and there some oscillations would appear in certain time cycles in certain space body's.

Being an Asgardian citizen for a while, I feel like I have to make some kind of contribution, and I decided that it's gonna be space art and space ambient music. Because let's face it : the universe is mostly an empty grey and silent place. (there's a reason why all Hubble pics are pimped with artificial colouring). So I'm gonna fill this space with some of my alien 3D renders and ethereal cosmic music. Deep Space Traveling. What a good solution could be is to pick out an asteroid who has a big elliptical orbit around the sun or to the outside of the solar system. It would need to have a certain gravity with an additional spin to become to 1G. We make a spaceship and we send the space ship on an intercepting course with this asteroid. Then we shoot some harpoon hooks at the asteroid and we begin our voyage in to space with our kinetic energy source.

Left we see the moon color as with our eyes as it reflects the light that is coming from earth. Right is the same image but inverted, so that gives us the colors that are absorbed by the moon. Now, would that be a prove that the atmosphere of the earth is blue or that the moon is red. :-)

Ok, this one is going to attract some type of space observers. Lets say we place a magnet between the earth and the moon in space, what should happen is that it should follow the magnetic route that is at that moment present. Now, lets say we can enforce the magnetism by a switch at certain moments and even flip the poles according to our wanted direction. We could go direction moon or earth and even travel from pole to pole. Of course we would need some assistance of an other type of trust to adjust all these raw steerings. Hmm, i wonder if i have not seen this technology before. But apart from that, it could be useful in space while hopping from one metallic core to another metallic core.

If we would start in orbit and on the moon with some basic central structure and then travel to mars with it to place it in the orbit of mars around the sun and there we could add some further structures made in space with the resources of the asteroid belt then maybe we could travel with it at the kuiper belt to build it to a big spaceship for the safeguarding of life in the solar-system. The only thing that we would need to build before we get there and to use on the road would be a big energy source. As we have our sun for free we should build a chain of solar energy stations till the most outward planets where we could use cold gases and ice in combination with the solar energy to the needed resources for life.

I was thinking about what space could offer us and at first thought one would think nothing as it is empty. But if we would take our thoughts a step further what we notice are different states of matter and energy in space. So in fact space is a good place to store energy as it is vacuum. Then i thought about our sun,  how can we store energy from the sun. True solar-panels, water-boilers and heat-storage. Then i thought about plasma, and if i am not wrong, plasma is gas and electricity. So would it not be possible to find a plasma solution directly in space. For example as a storage of electricity in space or as a temporary buffer for electricity. To put into a simple idea it could be a tank filled with a gas and with an instalation to harvest electricity and a way to serve the electricity as an energy-wave or laser.

Space data, the next sources of income. If we could send a mini-satellite with a cam and other sensors to the asteroid belt and let it drift along within the belt while we store some close-by data then this data could be picket up by passing space crafts and send back to earth. It could be done by hitchhiking on a mars directed spacecraft and then be launched at the belt.

To go somewhat further on my previous idea. In the map above you see blue lines. Those lines are parallel with the track that Hawaii made in the past on the pacific plate in the red lines. First we have the somewhat horizontal lines which picture the today magnetic equator versus the more vertical lines which could picture the previous magnetic equator. Lets assume that these periods would take thousands of years. It would be logic that at each big period there are thriving civilizations before big catastrophes. If we would now take these crossroads as overlapping civilizations like for example very old ones and not so old ones like we see for example in Egypt and lots of other places then that could be a hint to look for older civilizations beneath younger ones and we could grasp the much older history of recent history of earth. Maybe we could also find geological evidences about those happenings.

Today we had a big quake near Russia at the top of the big old plate from the Pacific Ocean. This plate causes much quake activity to the west where it goes under Asia. Today something fell to my attention and that is that Hawaii is ready i think to take his next big turn towards the south-pole. That could mean a start of other reactions around the north of this plate. The previous turn you can see in the top left of the picture. If someone could stick some dates to that previous turn then maybe we could find some clues in the geography of the earth.

Tonight i woke up with an idea about sub-particles. We know that atoms have particles and that these particles have even more sub-particles. These are very sticky so they must have come from great energy sources. My idea is now that every time there is a big outburst of gamma-rays that these sub-particles are send out in to the nearest local universe and while traveling true mass at a certain moment they insert themselfs in to the atom-particles from the same family. So we could assume that atoms are in fact getting heavier as time passes. Now if we go further to the jets of black-holes in the center of galaxy's, they produce even more sub-particles which are spread over even far more distances putting there signatures of sub-particles in the local galaxy atoms. From here we can say that every galaxy has his own sub-particle signature and their own bizarre entanglements that where created inside heavy cores. I would assume that even our sun is sending out these sub-particles which would make us build up out of most of the suns sub-particles making us true offspring of the sun. We are solar creatures.

Everything we know at what ever level exists as bubbles. Lets go to space. We have earth with his space-bubble, that goes on to the most outward regions around earth, high orbit i think it is called. To me everything inside that high-level orbit is part of earth. So if we are planning to clean up earth it should contain these regions in space as well. Then we have the moon with his space-bubble. If we go a level higher then we have our sun with its solar-bubble and then as last local bubble we have the heliosphere as the bubble from our entire solar-system.
We could even use this bubble vision in other things such as goals or subjects with their saving overlapping called buffers. Earth has great examples of buffering especially in nature and life. It is a way of surviving. To much or to little from everything can be used as an over-bridging in between extremes or as solutions to problems.
I think we should place that in our mind and take it into space. Buffering water, oxygen, food, fuel, materials, etc. would be a good start for the long run. Also as Igor stated a backup from earths life in space could be part of that, maybe as physical DNA-bank or with 3D-printing-DNA-techniecs.
In psychology we could use it also. Being open minded places a bubble in between left and right with open buffers to left and right. I guess that is called diplomatic or solution-oriented thinking.

As from today we have a map from the moon from incoming body's on the moon, see yellow dots. That is not such good news for building something on the moon. But then i saw a structure in these impacts. If the moon has a metal core it would be drawing these to the middle of the moon away from the poles. So i drew a circle to image that core, you see it as the blue circle. Then i drew some orange lines closer to the poles and what we see is a saver zone from impacts. So i guess that would be a choice of preference for the moment.
