Hi, I'm a new Asgardian, and looking for assistance to me understand better how work the things here. I think that the basic I understood, about what is Argadia, the main idea of an independent nation, and others things. But ins't clear to me what is the difference between a citizen and a resident. Whether the non-resident is a citizen or not. I understand what is a resident, but I want to know what a nonresident can do here. If is only a spectator of what happen in Asgardia or can do have an active participation in the discussions, share ideas, and contribute with the development of Asgardian society. In my vision, Asgardia how a nation, at this time, is a virtual nation, a community virtual of the real people. Because at now and for a long time isn't possible, live in space. Change of physical residence to there. When it will be possible, I not more exist, how many others that now is Asgardians. Of course, we need to think and do things to the new generations, to the advance of human civilization in all sense. But our life is now and too we need to do things related to the life that we are living. Other aspect that I think, is that a nation to be a nation, need people to create a national identity and build a country. Sure, this country not need to be a physical country. I think that the major part of people that are here, if not all, think that the frontiers between countries, are an obstacle to advanced of human civilization, for many reasons. For now, all we are living in the ground of the planet. In many place around the world. The world have lots of problems to solve. Then I think that we can project a new future to humanity, but we need to contribute to solve many problems that our civilization have. Too I want to say that the major part of people of a nation, of a country. With the exception, of a few countries, are constituted of the common people, with low financial income. Not pay a fee to live in the country. Pay tax, proportional what consume, the home that live, the money that win, electricity, water and others service that use. If Asgardia have an active economy, this will supply money for projects and how to sustain the cost of sites and all virtual things need to build first how a virtual nation, later when possible, in future a physical nation. Pay a low fee to use the sites of Argadia, I think that all can do it, if it is an inexpensive fee. If we want to open a business, to do things to win money, ok, how in all countries have costs, tax, etc. If a country, a nation, not have an economy, not are democratic, not have rights about propriety, not have freedom to think, to live following the society rules, but with freedom to live your personal life how desire, it is a country, a nation that I not want to live. Not all are scientist, researchers. I'm join to Asgardia because I not like of how are the things in my country. In the virtual world of the internet, I'm free to do things in the world and not are restricted, to the physical barriers of the frontiers. The advent of countries starting to have the e-citizenship, how Estonia, that is a virtual citizenship, open new ways to do many things in virtual world. For companies and who have a comfortable income all is easy. For who are a common person, with a low income, all is harder. Have or not have money, don't show about what is the person is in terms of intelligence, culture, values, life philosophy, and what are the skills, life experience, knowledge and wisdom. How I say, I'm new in Asgardia, need understand more how the things work for here. But reading many profiles, I see that much people, joined to Asgardia, but they not they do nothing here. I think that is because they not understand right what is Asgardia and how participate of this society. Or can to be, I'm not right about it at now, if is because of the limits of what a nonresident can do, and or, not is what they think that is Arcadia.
