Okay, so i posted a blog a few days ago to Asgaurdia only. Not sharing it with fb or other social medias. Now i am trying to test the activity of the community, because it has received literally no attention in any ways. I know i am not the most popular or impressive  person, but damn no one? I found that a little hard to believe so i am asking that anyone who reads this please leave some notification that there is infact activity on the asgardia blog. Otherwise i will assume the blog is inactive/ not visible.

Greetings to all!  I would like to invite Asgardians to consider my platform for Asgardian parliament.  It is my belief that I have prepared and offered something that very few people running for any parliament have done - and this is to offer an actual plan with steps that are able to be documented and held accountable to.  My background brings not only a unique perspective, but unique solutions, based on shifts that are now happening all around our planet at this time.

Hello all. This is my first "blog" to the people of Asgaurdia and I hope this message can bring fuel to the movement

My name is Eli. I am 22 years of age and I have dreamed of leaving this planet behind since I was 9. My joy when I first found Asgaurdia was profound, as I read about the project and those working behind it I felt a sense of pride in humanity that I thought i had lost during the rise of socialized media. The idea that a group of people like myself, found across the globe, were working together was so foreign that I honestly couldn't believe it.

As it stand right now, I could not be more certain that I have placed my faith appropriately.


Hmm. Now i suppose i do have some criticisms that i will keep relatively light. The Asgardian media is beginning to mimic the dis honesty of social media, Using unrealistic images or titles in order to magnifies the achievements of our projects. Also, the populace itself seems to almost expect too much, Wanting to sit by and wait for everyone else to finish the project.

I have taken some small amount of time to contemplate how to remedy some of these issues. We are so spread out, so divided that we couldn't possibly properly communicate or share resources. We must come together, on earth. Territory would be extremely difficult to claim on any land mass, of course, so the solution appears at sea. Across the internet recently i have seen the development of man made floating islands that could be maintained and populated by a working population with relative ease.

These floating islands would also be capable of supplying the populace with hydroponic foods, and automated fish farms for supple nutrient. solar, wave and wind power generation and would make a brilliant testing site for long term, moderate population in an enclosed environment. This would allow us to test structural components that would be used in orbit, as well as having a reliable method of resupplying an extraterrestrial population.

While we look to the stars, we must also ensure we have an effective foundation with other nations on Earth. One of my goals is ensuring that we are taken seriously as a nation by the United Nations, The Commonwealth and other structured memberships of national systems.

Now more than ever must we establish the systems and procedures that will affect trade, migration, law and sustainability.

As a citizen of Asgardia I pledge to uphold the Constitution and to support the ideals of peace in space and the unity and equality of all humankind.  Too long our earthbound vantage point has fostered physical and philosophical borders that have separated “us” versus “them”.  We have focused on our differences and viewed diversity as something to fear.

I look foreword to the day when we lift ourselves to the stars.  From the vantage point in space there are no borders.  There is no “them”...only us.  We can celebrate our differences and diversity as providing beauty and strength to all humankind.  Thank you for accepting me as a citizen.

My first blog. I think that this is a wonderful idea. It is so forward-thinking. Congratulations to our head of state, Igor, for being such a visionary.  I love science fiction, but now, I feel like I have stepped into science-fact. Very possible science-fact. Science possible. To be a citizen of a new nation is thrilling in a powerful way that my limited vocabulary fails at. We are definitely on a new frontier, a new threshold in human development. I believe that there is a God and I feel like I have almost stepped 1 level closer to the Infinite.

hello, my fellow citizens of ASGARDIA, i am proud to call myself a citizen of Asgardia and I would like to be a part of the parliament. I owe it to everyone else to educate myself and work on myself endlessly to become an effective leader that would help or contribute to building this new space nation into bigger and greater heights so that my children and their children after would have a place that they can proudly call home.

If there was an option to proudly display your nation’s insignia as a patch on your jacket, would you? This is the question that Civic Asgardia’s Rebekah Berg posed to Citizens of Asgardia on the group’s official Facebook page, Asgardia General Official.

Within less than an hour, over 100 people had responded positively to the idea immediately saying that they would be more than happy to invest in one of the patches that first debuted on HON Dr. Igor Ashurbeyli’s coat when he arrived at Wallops with the CEO of Asgardia NGO, Lena De Winne.

Asgardian citizens have proven time and time again that they have an unending passion for the project and it will be incredibly interesting to see what happens in the future when the Citizens of Asgardia start to find more ways to express their affiliation and pride in the nation.

A time will come when we have Asgardian produced goods, artworks, books and maybe even fashion trends specific to our nation.

According to Rebekah’s posts, the prospect of a store selling Asgardia-branded goods is on the horizon and that we could soon be sporting our own Asgardia patches for as little as $10.
