Hello Asgardians! Civic.Asgardia is spearheading several initiatives and creating a proposal for a program that would promote access to technology, equipment, and training is one of them. The name of this program is subject to change. Basis of the program came from a suggestion of donations of computers/computer components to people who could not own one or upgrade to the next level. People unable to upgrade their phones as the demands of mobile technology and data grows greater. Some are unable to get the basic computer training they need to acquire a better paying means of employment. **EDIT: Expanding for a clearer understanding of what this initiative is meant to be:** What is suggested is making technology accessible to those who cannot afford it. Yes, the Raspberry Pi computer is a great way to allow everyone to get a computer, the logistics and funding of that could be worked into this initiative. However, think about the functioning computer pieces that many people have lying around their house but they did not make the move into their next upgrade. Not everyone takes it to a tech recycling place (I'm still trying to find a legit one in my city) and it eventually ends up in a landfill. Why not pass along those older components to people in their local area whom that component would be an upgrade? An old laptop that has been sitting on a shelf after the newest one has been purchased could go to someone who desperately needs a laptop to do some consulting work. The last version of video card sitting in an old case and motherboard in a corner or closet somewhere could go to a community member who needs those components to finish building a computer to use for school or their children to use for school? Someone who's found the perfect job but they have no clue how to put together a power point presentation and the online resources are too confusing could benefit from the expertise of either in person or remote tutoring on the programming and putting together an effective presentation. Same could go for any program needed to upgrade skills or take that extra step to be more marketable or help someone actually put together that system that they've gathered peices for or troubleshooting a tricky software glitch they have but can't afford to take their system to the repair place. Arranging a monthly/bi-monthly/quarterly 'Asgardian Tech Swap' where community members could get together with their spare components and swap them to help others out? Start a 'tech wanted' list for the community online that people could post up what they're looking for or tutoring needed and others could arrange to help. Eventually it could be moved into a larger program where fund raising could bring computers and internet into third world village schools or community centers to help them to start to catch up with the rest of the world. So please, try to think along these lines. Keep it simple, obtainable and of true benefit to the community. --- We would like for this to promote Asgardian’s helping Asgardians as well as their local communities. From February 1 - 28, 2017 we are opening up the floor to community input on what the program would entail. Hello Asgardians! The first round of quarterly project proposals for 2017 is beginning. It will run from Feb 1 - Mar 31, 2017. We have developed a project proposal guide that has been approved by Asgardia Official to help the Asgardian community contribute to the building of our nation. This proposal guide helps Civic.Asgardia, the civil branch of Asgardia, to prepare cogent and concise material for review to obtain an official endorsement. The goal of a project proposal is to: 1. Identify what needs to happen 2. Explain why it needs to be done 3. Persuade the reader that your team has wisely considered a problem and has a realistic plan and resources prepared to perform the required tasks. In addition to having a consistent, attractive appearance, the information should be easy to access. It should be well-organized. Balance an easily scannable overview with sufficient technical details to demonstrate that your team has thought through the process. **Download the Project Proposal Guidelines Document pdf** ###**Guidelines** **Prerequisites:** Project Leads must be verified Asgardia Members. Only one (1) proposal may be submitted at a time by any member. **Proposal Formatting:** Proposals must be submitted in an electronic format following the outline established in this guide. Text must be in English and maintain a simple Arial 12 point, single spaced, 0.5” indents presentation. Accepted submission formats are view-links to cloud storage (such as Google Docs, Microsoft OneDrive) or stand-alone material in a .DOC/.DOCX format. **Organization:** Your proposal should have material organized into Front Matter, Main Body and Supporting Documents. **Deadline:** Submission rounds occur each quarter of the year. Completed proposals must be submitted by the END date of each round. Proposals received after this date will be entered into the next round. Documents must be emailed to adminteam@asgardia.space with a subject of “Proposal: (title).” **Response:** Endorsements will be announced in the months following the submission deadline. The American Anti-Fascist movement--known colloquially as "AntiFa"--attended the Donald Trump inauguration, "DeploraBall" and several other events in Washington, DC. During their tenure there, AntiFa have utterly destroyed swathes of personal and business property; physically assaulted people, even if they were not actually Trump supporters; set fire to a limosine; assaulted police officers; and brandished weapons and other implements at both police officers and civilians. AntiFa is an extremely dangerous and hostile organization, and I have yet to personally find one single video in which AntiFa is able to have a cogent conversation with ANYONE on the ground. They are not there to protest, but to instigate riots and encourage "Black Bloc" tactics. They are regularly armed with seemingly harmless flags. These flags are in fact used as blunt weapons by AntiFa to attack anybody who shows aggression back at them. They have openly lied to police about the purpose of the flags as well as the materials they were made with. Make no mistake--these flags are weapons. The aims of the organization are, according to their own website, extremely dangerous. They have no interest in political discourse, but rather would like to "co-operate to defeat fascism". They never provide a definition of fascism, nor do they provide any resources for "de-radicalizing" individuals with fascists tendencies. >The Anti-Fascist Network is not about telling people how to campaign in their areas, *what type of anti-fascist activity they should undertake* or what political analysis they should adopt. We simply want to cooperate to defeat fascism. This is not a legitimate organization. I suggest that AntiFa immediately be branded by Asgardia as a terrorist organization, and that we deny entry to any individual who is associated or who has formerly associated with AntiFa. Any individual associated with AntiFa should be arrested and tried for terrorism.

Would anyone be interested in having some sort of online Asgardian Psychology Roundtable or seminar? We could invite all Asgardians who work in psychology-related disciplines, and then anybody who would want to suggest a topic of discussion would need only ask. We could then sign up Asgardians who want to attend, confirm their IDs and provide a private link to an online stream. I think we should definitely have at least one discussion topic surrounding how Asgardia should handle clinical "diagnoses", and whether some sort of diagnostic statistic manual of our own is even necessary. EDIT - Another important roundtable topic: brainstorming on income-generating endeavours that Asgardia could do related to psychology and psychological research. This is an extremely difficult discussion to have, but I feel it must be done. There must be a selection process for determining who will go into space, and who will stay on Earth. Not all of us will have the physical attributes, dexterity, agility, strength and knowledge to go into space. Some of us will have to stay on earth as support staff or bases of knowledge, providing Asgardia with the funding and manpower needed to maintain such a massive operation. And so, how do we determine who goes into space? - Do we do this through democracy / voting? - Do we proceed with a meritocracy, having State Officials choose only the most fit and the most skilled? - Do we gather together our most talented people by default, and send them into space? - Or do we simply allow unadulterated access to all, hoping (or ensuring) that they will develop what they need to survive in space? What do you think?

After spending over two weeks thoroughly researching Asgardia's founders, history and current provisional government members, I can say with absolute certainty that Asgardia is the real deal. The individuals who are currently speaking to the United Nations about the prospect of official nationhood--individuals like Dr. Igor Ashurbeyli, Dr. Mikhail Spokyny, and others--have lived their entire lives protecting others; moving towards the goal of life in space; and pushing the bounds of human potential. As a matter of fact, one of the progenitors of the Aerospace International Research Center (AIRC) had major participation in the very first human being having been on the moon. I've searched all of the peripheral companies I could find related to Asgardia. I looked for fraud, lying or malcontent. I looked for illegal activity. I looked for names in Wikileaks, and I looked for anything that could possibly paint Asgardia in a negative light what-so-damned-ever. I found nothing. This movement, I feel, is real. This initiative truly is about humanity gaining unitary and high level thinking (which I call fifth dimensional consciousness); going into space; and reclaiming our rightful place as the protectors of this planet and all beings who live on it. But the fact that this movement is real, also introduces to us a number of responsibilities. I'll list three of them here. 1. We must never let our agenda of peaceful integration be "co-opted" by any negative force, whether man, machine, event, shortcoming, or anything else. No Globalist Cabal. No "Russian hacking". No corruption. No more wars for oil, money and prestige. No more destroying communities. No more subjugation of indigenous populations. 2. We must distance ourselves from the affairs of nations on Earth as much as possible, if not entirely excluding ourselves from such dealings. 3. We must never forget our humanity, and the qualities that make us human. We must agree to retain our humanity, and to never allow our humanity to be co-opted, altered or modified without our expressed permission. This includes free speech, but also includes aspects of humanity that we never thought of--such as disallowing anyone from putting electronic devices in our brains or bodies. Changes to our states of being should be on our own terms.

I am very concerned about anti-muslim, anti-Middle-Eastern rhetoric within Asgardia's culture, given the current climate in the Middle East. What is your take on the current happenings in the Middle East, terrorist attacks worldwide, and anti-Muslim rhetoric? What do you believe our course of action should be when it comes to ensuring that all religions and spiritual persuasions are equally respected, as per the proposed constitution?
