[ADMIN, OPEN-LETTER] 15 JAN 2017 Asgardia Members, Dr. Igor Ashurbeyli announced the formation of Asgardia: The Space Nation in October, 2016. Within months, a project that was expected to draw 10,000 members saw itself overwhelmed with half-a-million interested people. A group of volunteers soon emerged to help organize the social ...

In my opinion, it would be really good to remember, everything is a process. Understandably it is not an easy task to organize over half of a million people into one area of the internet, virtually. What makes this somewhat easier is that we are all here for the same ...

Just curious what the plan for the population? What will be the max population and what steps will be in place to control that limit? Secondary ship aka Asgardia 2? Adding onto existing ship? Child limits? Sorry if this was already adressed in a different topic.

Yassin: You use the UN's mid-range predictions of population. I use the UN low-range prediction. Why? Because between the 3 (low, middle and high range), the low-range prediction has always been the most accurate prediction until now. Why will it change? I won't speak about abortion here, as it is ...

I am more than prepared to agree that we simply cannot agree. However, I do feel the requirement to point out that a statement of fact doesn't entirely constitute an insult - and should you be insulted by this fact, then adjusting this from being fact seems a more sensible ...

Probably not the place to ask this question but can they add a way to up vote forum comments? It would ensure that good topics Can be easily found to be read by others. Too hard to read through 500000 people's random comments to filter out the good ideas ...

I think the upvote feature would be useful. The downvote feature may be harmful on the other hand. The issue with the downvote is that it may mean many things while the upvote is more straightforward. So, I would rather keep things simple for now and only allow upvotes.

The danger in implementing an "up vote" system similar to Reddit's Karma system, is that it can stifle open discussion and critical comments. Any unpopular posts/comments would be down voted in favor of what's deemed acceptable and "ok" to say. Giving an incentive to only say what will get you ...

The biggest problem this world has today is greed. The Asgardia constitution should maintain citizens rights and freedoms. At the same time it must limit the possibility of a dictator or an authoritarian government. The future of our spices MUST be that of freedom.

Call me a Fan Trekkie, but I hope that in Asgardia we won't have corporations at all. I kind of hope we'll grow past that state and just focus on the People working with Government with chosen leaders.
