La tecnología no solo es un conjunto de  herramientas resultado de avances científicos que nos facilita la vida sino que también constituye un componente dinamizador de nuestra evolución como seres humanos. Es decir, la tecnología va más allá del avance técnico, al igual que en su momento lo hizo la prensa, la radio y la televisión.

Lo anterior, quiere decir que más que herramientas estamos frente una revolución de las comunicaciones que toca todos los aspectos interpersonales  que permiten la comunicación e interacción de las personas.

Es por ello que la tecnología implica no solo el conocimiento, manejo y aplicación de las mismas sino que también es necesario todo un sistema de educación que incluye hasta normas éticas y morales. Algo que las familias, instituciones educativas, el gobierno y la sociedad en general apenas empiezan a entender.

Technology is not only a set of tools that are the result of scientific advances that make life easier for us, but also constitutes a dynamic component of our evolution as human beings. That is, the technology goes beyond the technical advance, just as in the moment did the press, the radio and the television. 
This means that more than tools we are facing a communications revolution that touches all the interpersonal aspects that allow the communication and interaction of people.
