Asgardians. We have been given a chance, an opportunity. A hope. The hope of being able to start over. To start a new, and great civilization. We have witnessed all of our mistakes on our beautiful planet Earth. We are responsible for them, and we are responsible for changing as well. It is our duty to avoid those mistakes and lead our people to greatness and happiness. And the only way is : equity.

"All men are born free and equal, in dignity and in rights, and, being endowed by nature with reason and conscience, they should conduct themselves as brothersone to another."

I am not inventing anything. We hold these truths to be self-evident, but history told us that it was a lie. We have been selfish, lying to ourselves, and cheating, to improve our own condition, to the detriment of others. Lying to ourselves thinking we were doing good. But this has to stop. The only way we can be happy and strong as a nation, is if we forget about greed, envy, wrath, and anger. This is the only way to live in peace and harmony. And we have to. Because we have to be the example for everyone else to see.

We are the future of mankind.

Dans l'histoire récente, il n'y a pas beaucoup de création de Nation. Comme si celles qui existaient étaient suffisantes. Comme si les injustices et les inégalités étaient acceptables et acceptées.
Pourtant bientôt une nouvelle Nation verra le jour, la Nation d'Asgardia.
Des gens qui se sont réunis par la même volonté d'améliorer les choses. Parce que pour nous les Nations existantes ne sont pas suffisantes. Parce que les inégalités et les injustices ne sont pas acceptables.
Quand j'en parle autour de moi, alors qu'au final, des création de Nations, il y en a déjà eu plein, on me dit que c'est naïf , que c'est probablement voué à l'échec ... Oui peut-être.
Mais toujours est-il que nous allons essayer et que au pire si nous n'y arrivons pas, fort de notre expérience, d'autres essayeront après nous, et d'autres encore après. Jusqu'à ce qu'on y arrive !
Parce qu'une humanité unie dans l'espoir de vivre ensemble et en paix ne peut pas échouer.

According to recent history, there is not some nation creation so much. Like if those who already exists were good enough. Like if the injustices or inequality were acceptable, and accepted.
Yet soon a new nation is about to be born. the Asgardian Nation.
People, together with the same will of making things better. Because for us, alredy existing nations aren't good enough. Because all the injustices and inequality aren't acceptable.
When i speak about Asgardia around me, after all, it's nothing but the creation of a nation and human history is full of it, they tell me that this is naïve, probably doom to failure ... Yeah, maybe .
But we're going to try anyway because even if we fail, the next ones will learn from us and try too, and so on ... until we succed !
Because a humanity united by the hope of living in peace together can not fail.

So far, an incredible amount of work have been done on information and communication.

However, there is still a lot to be done, especially about our Asgardia website. Although there are many important things to focus on at the very beginning of our adventure, we should definitly not underestimate the importance of our main information portal.

If I agree that the whole thing has to stay simple, it doesn't preclude some improvement regarding browsing, searching, and sharing information.

I think we could drasticaly improve the effectiveness of the whole system and all the asgardians considerably by improving these three axes.

As a web software developer myself, I already noted amount of things which could facilitate that. I'd be happy to share them with you if you're interrested.

This is my first post in Asgardia and I must first say that as someone lucky enough to have travelled and lived in various continents I really embrace the humanitarian values of the project. I hope to see it developp more and will bring to the community my knowledge in the fields where I am the most documented.

Being a civil engineer I can bring my knowledge about the construction industry and especially transportation systems and their social impact. My education allows me to be documented about energy and mechanics. Seing there is a ministry of science; it seems relevant doesn't it?

Being and dedicated reader and hopefully one day writer I hope to bring something about arts and especially literature. I don't see any dedicated ministry but Asgardi is a young project probably arts will surface in the future.
