As i see it asgardia is the a movement that could be the vanguard of humanity acheiving a type 1 civilisation. This in turn means that it has the potential of becoming a standard for other societies to follow to advance into the next stage of human progress Our society should be set up at a higher standard with a system that will tackle the greatest uocoming socioeconomic challenge of the following decades witch is an explosion in automation that will make a huge bulk if not the majority of jobs obsolete and in turn threatens to destabilise the very core mechanisms of capitalism. That is why i think that forming the first fully functional post economic resource based economy should be pursued as one of our sociopolitical goals alongside our technological goals On technological issues we also must take the role of a beacon for humanity to follow from researching alternate energy sources such as fusion , revolutionise in A.I. and automation , present new lifesaving medicine ,prosthetics and printed organs and even taking first seat to our specie's trend in reinventing human nature by leading the research on radical life extension and human augmentation via genetic or cybernetic means and not shy away of it in fear or superstition In short what i wish for asgardia to be is a nation of freedom , equality , socioeconomic ,scientific and technological progress that will be able to not just be a protecting force for humanity But the stadard that the rest of the world will follow to ascend to unimagined heights
