Pendaftaran sebagai relawan “Yang pergi dan takkan pernah kembali.”

Siapkah anda menjadi para Martian (Sebutan untuk penduduk Mars)?

Karena Mars One membuka pendaftaran bagi siapa saja di seluruh dunia untuk mendaftar sebagai pioneer kolonisasi planet Mars.
BATASAN UMUR = 18 Tahun keatas, atribut yang dicari adalah mereka yang memiliki emosi dan psikologis yang stabil, didukung oleh keinginan dan motivasi personal, bersedia mengorbankan hidup untuk misi ini, karena setelah sampai di Mars, mereka yang terpilih takkan bisa pulang ke Bumi.

Proses Pendaftaran
proses pendaftaran dan seleksi akan dibagi menjadi beberapa tahap:

Round 1
Terdiri atas pengiriman CV secara online, surat yang menjelaskan motivasi peserta, disertai video 1 menit dimana peserta menjelaskan mengapa dirinya pantas untuk misi ini. kemudian peserta akan dipilih lagi oleh experts untuk Round 2

Round 2
Peserta akan di cek oleh dokter untuk memastikan peserta memiliki kesehatan yang layak. kemudian peserta akan di undang untuk berteemu dengan komite mars one di regional masing-masing, dan di wawancarai

Round 3
Peserta akan menjadi bagian dari 20-40 pendaftar dari round sebelumnya, dimana mereka akan berpartisipasi untuk membuktikan kemampuan untuk bertahan hidup di Mars. hal ini akan di siarkan keseluruh dunia, dimana penonton akan memilih 1 pemenang dari tiap negara, sementara para expert akan memilih sendiri peserta untuk maju ke round 4

Round 4
Komite Mars one akan membuat group internasional untuk masing2 negara. Grup ini akan dilatih dan mendemonstrasikan kemampuan mereka untuk hidup dalam kondisi ekstrim dan bekerja sama, dari seluruh grup yang ada, hanya 4 yang akan menjadi karyawan tetap di Mars One, dimana mereka akan dilatih untuk misi mereka.

4 orang peserta terpilih akan pergi ke Mars pada September 2022, yang jauhnya lebih dari 38 juta mil dari Bumi, peserta lain akan pergi setelah beberapa waktu kemudian.

It's easy to see by this point: When we set ourselves upon the stars and began colonizing other celestial bodies, it would be inevitable that after some time, a new breed of Humans would emerge. While it's hard to imagine what will make them different from us, aside from the obvious adaptations that evolution has made on their body, we can at least try to think on what would be our response when they start to appear. Granted, this is based from the famous NewTypes in the Gundam series. However, it's not entirely wrong in terms of the concept that a new breed of Humans that have adapted to the harshness of space would appear. Hence, I made this argument/discussion/whatever you want to call it. I'm not a professional by any means, but I'm somewhat more informed than the average Joe.

Acceptance

The first issue is accepting the fact that they exist. Regardless of the Socioecocultural or Geopolitical climate at the time, once their existence has been confirmed, this would be the immediate question: do we accept the fact that they exist? Or not? Our response to this question will decider the policies that will be made in the future.

Examples from pop culture, specifically from the Gundam franchise, shows the extreme side of things: people who are born in space colonies are not considered to be equals to those from Earth. Hence, some rebel and form their own nation (Principality of Zeon in some Gundam titles). While it may not be realistic, it does give us some idea on what will happen if we don't give the proper response to such situation/condition.

Basic Rights

Probably one of the most glaring issue, the question posed for this section is: Do they possess the same rights as us in our society? In case you're not aware, these are the basic rights that we tend to forget, which includes, but not limited to:

• Rights to feed oneself
• Rights to clothe oneself
• Rights to shelter oneself
• Right to pursue oneself's happiness
• Freedom of belief*
• Freedom of information*
• Freedom to group & express opinion*

* Debatable based on which country/ideology/religion you're originally from, but nonetheless I'm including it here.

While this might seem trivial, however, it's not. As we expand further into the cosmos, what we consider as common sense now would be different by then. It's similar to asking a person from the medieval era of their common sense, and then telling them about the common sense of our modern era. Our way of thinking, our morality could be different by that time, and people in the future could think that our values are primitive/naive/ancient (whichever you fancy, really, but same point) by their standards. Hence, we need to settle the matter, or at least, lay the foundation by now.

While hopefully an organization that's dedicated to prevent, stop & eliminate corruption (in terms of political influence or economic related topics) would hopefully be unnecessary, nonetheless an investment in terms of basic groundwork should still be made, in order to not be caught unprepared when such a situation surfaces.

Recruitment: Process & Criteria

While the title explains what this section entails, however, this should still be discussed & settled first. Recruiting should be conducted through written & practical exams. Although it seems obvious and maybe even redundant, however, the written exam serves as the distraction for the main event: practical exam.

Practical examination involves the participants in a simulated situation, but preferably if they were not informed of it being an exam, and instead it being a part of what will they do as a part of their job, though as referred earlier that this was actually still an exam for their admittance into the organization. Once it's commenced, the criteria for them to pass the exam would have to be grounded on these core principles:

• Integrity: keeping promises, finish the job, responsible for everything they've done or said.
• Honesty: no lies (affects reports, testimonies, witnesses, etc.), no misleading actions or words, not accepting bribes (or anything that could be considered as gratification by rule of law).
• Professional: keeps private & job businesses separated, stay by the rules (exceptions apply under extreme circumstances).
• Neutrality: regardless of, if any, previous employment, must be neutral in all aspects during work.

After they completed the exam, they would be brought back to be told of the true nature of their "first" day and the criteria(s) of the exam they just went through. Then, they would be told if they passed the test or not.

Also, the judges of the exams are to be selected at random from neutral professionals of related topic(s)/subject(s) that are confirmed to be not aligned with any organization, ideology, or nation.

Well, a little past. In elementary school, I was educated with the value of Islam, even though there was little modern understanding. This time, I spent from morning to evening to school, studying religion, I was very jealous of my friends. Where, the others went to school only until noon, I arrived in the afternoon, but I was very proud. I was very active in Scouts, achieving achievements on the day of Indonesian Scouts' birthday in fine art. I made the ship only with items I found in the trash. Moving to junior high school, I went to a public school, well, I spent it as a bad boy. Like smoking in a canteen. Really crazy indeed, but I am very proud, able to know how the taste of the cigarette. And I stopped after class 3, because I had to face the national exam. Then high school. I have to fight desperately for school. My parents went bankrupt in business. And my dad's big family hates my family, well because they care so much about me and my little brother, because I'm still in school. And have to move to another city to do business. After graduating, I was unemployed, helping my parents' small business. After 3 years, I was accepted as a gas station employee. Very torturous, it must withstand the stinging smell of fuel. For me, a small salary is a big risk, not comparable. I just want to tell my past, because I ran out of ideas in writing this blog

Coffee? well, maybe very familiar with human life. In Indonesia, there are many types, depending on the place itself. As I upload now, it is Gayo coffee, originating from the land of Aceh. Dominant from arabica, and the sour taste is very strong, but unique. At the most I like, Gayo Wine, it tastes like the usual red wine in a banquet. The sour taste, is very dominant, but there is a very delicious wine flavor, supported by the typical floral plants, such as the macademia nut. Or Kerinci, it feels very unique, bitter acid alloy is very dominant, like the taste of cocoa beans. then there's civet coffee. comes from coffee beans that fail to digest, the sour taste is very strong, and expensive. or Toraja coffee, very bitter and is at an altitude of 800 meters above sea level. and there are many types that I might not have tasted, because so many types are circulating

This is the reality in my country, I'm sorry if maybe this is pleasing to you, but this is the reality in my country's politics. I want to tell a little
Soekarno was initially hailed as the Proclamator and Founding Father of Indonesia. But look then he was completely blasphemed until he died in concern. . Soeharto too. Known as the Father of Development with REPELITA and GBHN neatly arranged for Indonesia ready to take off into a developed country. But finally blasphemed because of rampant Community Service. All of the sudden amnesia with all the achievements he made for 32 years led the country. . Then what about BJ Habibie? His biggest achievement was returning the exchange rate which at that time reached Rp. 15,000 - Rp. 16,000 to Rp. 7,000 due to the monetary crisis. But he had a fatal mistake which caused East Timor to be separated from Indonesia. He was also condemned at that time. The accountability report was rejected by the MPR and had to step down. Alhamdulillah, now there are many millennials who revere him and are lulled by his love drama which airs on Indonesian cinema screens.
Now look at Gus Dur. A Great Ulama, a Nation Teacher, a visionary who emphasizes diversity in the nation. But it was finally overthrown by political intrigue since his controversial statements about the DPR were like kindergarten. Hopefully now this nation sees the facts. . The government was then continued by Megawati. Indeed there was not much achievement at that time, because the country was again rocked by political strife. Finally he failed to be re-elected due to the many issues surrounding the sale of state assets. He has been blasphemed a lot until now. . What about the government in SBY's time? To be honestly recognized, under SBY's leadership this country is a little back to political stability. Economy is growing. JCI continues to record the highest achievement. But in the second period his government began to uncover corrupt practices of its Party cadres. He was also blasphemed afterwards. The Hambalang Corruption case has dragged many officials of the Party and Officials of this country behind bars. . What about President Jokowi now? We can witness for ourselves, the blasphemy is relentless even from the beginning of its candidacy as President of the Republic of Indonesia in 2014. Hoaxes, incitement, slander seemed endless directed at him. Indeed, in his reign there were several unpopular policies that rocked people's lives. But should we deny the development that has been actively re-implemented after the SBY government struggled to maintain political and economic stability? . .Should we blaspheme its policies that give greater attention and portion of development to people outside Java? Why don't we learn to appreciate the work of our leaders? Rest assured, THERE WAS NO THIS STATE LEADER WHO WANTED HIS NAME during his reign. ALL LEADERS WANT TO GIVE THE BEST TO THIS STATE. All of them must try to carve gold ink in the history of this nation. NOTE THAT. So, blame politicians who continue to fry the issue to attract sympathy or corner their political opponents. Blame those who are just making fun without doing something meaningful for this nation. . Then, why should we be immersed in debates not important because of different political views. Fortunately, only the politicians you idolize. Whereas you, may lose the sympathy of people who have been close to you. Let the government now work calmly. Appreciate what they are trying to do. If the results do not match your expectations, then take advantage of your last weapon, which is your voice in the upcoming elections.
