Nominating Yourself

Please remember that anyone can submit his or her candidacy, but you must only submit for one level at a time. If you have applied for more than one level of leadership, please go back and pick only one. Candidates are given a week to select one level, and if no selection is made, all of the candidate’s applications will be deleted.

Your candidacy will appear on the website once you have completed all of the required fields in your profile, uploaded your personal photo, and the text of your platform has been verified. In addition, if you’re submitting for the level of Trendsetter, you must send you CV/resume, and for the level of Ambassador, you must send your CV/resume plus two references to elections@asgardia.space.

Debutant Rights

Debutants (10 votes) have the right to elect leaders at the higher levels; be selected as a leader for a higher level, submit petitions to higher leaders; support the petitions of their group; apply for grants and scholarships, and submit proposals to higher levels; set the price for licenses to the businesses or products of third-party members of their group; determine the level of openness of the group and the prices for accreditation of third-party groups or members of his/her group.

Strategist Rights

Strategists (100 votes) have the right to elect Trendsetters and Ambassadors; be elected as such; submit petitions directly to Trendsetter or Ambassador-level leaders; support the petitions of their own group; apply for grants and scholarships, and submit proposals to Trendsetters or higher levels; support grants and scholarships sent to Trendsetters or above, set the price for licenses to the businesses or products of third-party members of their group; determine the level of openness of the group and the prices for accreditation of third-party groups or members of his/her group.

I would propose the following.

All programs which can be considered to be Youth or Education services or programs shall be governed by the Youth and Education Ministry. The Minister shall have the duties of researching, recommending programs and services which will serve to prepare all children under the protection of the Constitution of Asgardia with the needed skills and abilities to take a productive role in Asgardian society.  Programs and Services recommended by the Minister shall be implemented with the approval of majority of the Parliament.  The would include but not be limited to: Early Education, Daycare, Preschool, Elementary, Junior and Senior High School, Youth Physical Education programs, any and all upper Educational or training programs, as well as Youth Welfare Services.

The definition of youth shall be recommended by the Minister and approved by a majority of Parliament.

Now we can get down to the business of building our nation, space nation!  I'm extremely excited about the coming future.  Will we be able to keep our humble beginning and grow?  Will it all fall apart or grow into something out of this world? I'm hoping for the latter.

I'm am still in this to the finish, win or lose. But I hope to have your vote!

On facebook today I see there are many people encountering the same problems over and over.  Asgardia should appoint someone to oversee the website and keep it up to date.  The deadline for the CONSTITUTION has passed but the site is continuing to accept votes.  The site and elections and polls could all run securely on a Wordpress site.  It would work across all platforms and function correctly.  With that being said.... We need to move a little slower, I know there is a rush to get this done, but it needs to be done correctly.  If readers vote for me, if you can find my profile, I promise you that I will use my voice to insure these sloppy practices stop.

We live in an amazing time when the possibility of living in space is becoming a reality for more than just a select few. We embrace this future and the offer of working together in unity for the betterment of mankind. We embrace this new dawn with all its possibilities. We will work together to create this new future together and know we are building the foundation of a platform for future space exploration and for building sustainable communities on other planets. We begin this journey together, now, each with anticipation and excitement as we consider the journey before us, made stronger because we journey together as one.

So, I haven't been getting my emails recently but I got the latest one on the voting.  However nothing was said about Who, When, How the vote was to take place.... I'm a little confused at the moment.
