Emancipation Proclamation 2.0

Asgardia's attempt to have the influence equal to the members of United Nations on the offshore of the earth is surprising. Although Sovereign Order of Malta has little territory on the ground, it's participating in the United Nations as an observer. So the ambition of Asgardia can't be said to be a completely reckless story over the future.

There is a growing concern that the US and Japanese currency systems will collapse in the near future. In Japan, issuance of large amounts of national bonds by the government and bold monetary easing by the central bank did not work well, and the people can't feel the improvement of the real economy. It is worried that the currency will collapse by continuing such fiscal-monetary policy by inertia. However, we have no way to escape from such crisis, because it's not easy for anyone to migrate to another country.

Asgardia has given us the alternative. The moment we choose to become an Asgardian, we get the possibility to emancipate us from spell of currency. The right to issue the currency SOLAR is at National Bank of Asgardia. It is not a private bank like the Federal Reserve Bank. As a result of control of SOLAR by Asgardia, we will be emancipated from the currency depreciation trap so-called the wealth-theft-system caused by massive debt issue and enormous reprint of money. Nurturing SORAL that does not depreciate is a security for the sustainable development of Asgardia. Let’s make this gospel a reality.

Let's emancipate our children from the poverty, the debts, the polluted land and the historical views governed. To that end, we must emancipate ourselves from the wealth-theft-system.

地球のオフフショアに国際連合加盟国と同等の影響力を持とうという Asgardia の試みは驚きです。地上に領土が殆どないマルタ騎士団もオブザーバーとしてではありますが国際連合に参加していますから、 Asgardia の野望が将来に渡って全く無謀な話であるとは言い切れないでしょう。

近い将来に米国や日本の通貨システムが崩壊してしまうのではないかという懸念の声が上がっています。日本では政府による大量の国債発行と中央銀行による大胆な金融緩和も功を奏さず、国民は実体経済の改善を感じることができないでいます。このような財政・金融政策を惰性で継続することにより、通貨が崩壊するのではないかとも懸念されています。しかしながら、私たちにはこの危機から逃れる手段は有りません。誰もが容易に他国に移住できる訳ではないからです。

Asgardia は私たちに選択肢を与えてくれました。私たちが Asgardia 市民になることを選択した瞬間、私たちは通貨の呪縛から解放される可能性を得るのです。通貨 SOLAR の発行権は Asgardia 国立銀行にあります。それは連邦準備銀行のような民間銀行ではありません。Asgardia が SOLAR のコントロール権を持つことにより、負債の大量発行と貨幣の大増刷によって引き起こされる通貨の減価の罠、いわゆる富の収奪の罠、から私たちは解放されるでしょう。減価しない SORAL を育むことこそが、Asgardia の持続的発展の担保になるのです。私たちの手でこの福音を現実にしましょう。

貧困、負債、汚染された国土と政府に統制された歴史観から、私たちの子どもたちを解放してあげましょう。そのために、私たちは富の収奪システムから私たち自身を解放しなければなりません。

Here is my proposal for setting up the education system for our youth.  This is just an outline to help us get things moving.

The education debate has been growing and I would like to expand my thoughts on the topic of where do we go from here.  Being that our citizens are located around the world we need a plan that would benefit as many Asgardians as possible.   The internet has grown to the point to where anyone with the desire can educate themselves on just about any subject they desire.

My vision would use the internet to bring all Asgardian learners in to a virtual classroom to be taught by Asgardian educators in subjects from elementary thru to grade 12 based on the 12 system.  To do this Asgardia will rely on educators to develop a standard education system to be approved by the Ministry of Youth and Education.  After the system is approved by the Ministry and the Asgardia Parliament.  The Ministry of Youth and Education will present the system to other governments for accreditation.

*The Procedures and Methods-

The education of Asgardian citizens will be accomplished through internet, multi-media, or physical classroom structure.  The Ministry of Youth and Education shall recommend a Minister of Education to the parliament for appointment or removal by a majority vote of the Parliament.

The Minister of Education shall be responsible for the functioning of the Basic Educational System in all regards and implement and enforce all policy and procedures issued by the Parliament and The Ministry of Youth and Education.

The Ministry of Education

The Education Minister shall serve one term of no more than 10 years.

The Ministry of Education shall set enrollment requirements which are based on citizenship. Academic abilities shall not be considered for enrollment at any level of basic education program for any Asgardian.

The Ministry of Education shall, create an enrollment and

re-enrollment policy, set standards for advancement, set standards for graduation, set guidelines for removal from the system.

The Ministry of Education shall maintain an archive of academic

records for all former students enrolled in the Basic Education

Program.  a.) The record for each student shall contain

parents'/guardian’s and students full name in Roman letters and the native language if other than Roman letters are used, home address, contact phone number and or email address, course subject term and finial grades for each academic year enrolled.  b.) The database shall be backed up offline and not accessible to the public except by adult students, parents/guardian’s, or other entity with permission of the Ministry of Youth and Education. c.) Each academic year of data will be maintained for no less than 15 years after the scheduled student graduation year.

The Ministry of Education shall work to improve the Basic Education System and recommend changes to the Ministry of Youth and Education for approval.

The Ministry of Education shall submit a budget request yearly on or before the date set by the Ministry of Youth and Education.

The Ministry of Education shall prepare and present an overview of the state of education in Asgardia to the Parliament.

The Ministry of Education shall recommend an Education District

Minister to the Ministry of Youth and Education to be submitted

to parliament for appointment or removal of any or all Education

District Minister(s)by a majority of the quorum vote of the

Parliament.

*Management of the Education System

Due to the current global location of Asgardian citizens the ME shall create districts which fairly represent populations and cultures of citizens.

After the creation of districts the ME shall appoint an Education

District Minister (EDM) for each of the Educational districts created.

The ME shall over see development, implementation, and compliance to the Asgardia Basic Education System.

Duties and Responsibilities of Education District Ministers (EDM)

Education District Ministers shall oversee the education programs and implement programs as directed by the Ministry of Youth and Education and the Minister of Education.

Education District Ministers shall make recommendations for

instructors/educators to the Education Minister.

Education District Ministers shall make progress reports on the

district program for the Education Minister on Quarterly basis.

Education District Ministers shall monitor instructors/teachers to

insure lesson curriculum and schedules are followed.

Education District Ministers shall work with instructors/teachers to improve the education system and make recommendations to the Education Minister for changes.

Education District Ministers shall work to resolve concerns and

complaints by parents, instructors/teachers and students.

Education District Ministers shall coordinate with

instructors/teachers to create and maintain a database of academic records for all students enrolled in the Basic Education Program in their district.

a.) The record for each student shall contain parents'/guardian’s and students full name in Roman letters and the native language if other than Roman letters are used, home address, contact phone number and or email address, course subject term and finial grades for each academic year enrolled.  b.) The database shall be backed up offline and not accessible to the public except by adult students, parents/guardian’s, or other entity with permission of the Ministry of Youth and Education. c.) Each academic year of data will be maintained for no less than 5 years after the scheduled student graduation year. d.) Within 30 days after the end of each academic year student data shall be given to the Ministry of Education for archiving.

A starting point.

As we go about our busy days it's important to stop and look around us and consider everything going on around us every now and then.  I know people think Asgardia is a dream that is out of touch, maybe even some of our Asgardians as well.  When someone is skeptical about the goal of our counrty and doubt creeps in take some time and look at the photo of the Pale Blue Dot.  Think about all the other billions of stars out in space with planets orbiting around them.  What makes us special?  Well the fact humanity has here for a blink of the cosmic eye I would say a lot makes us special.  We have gone from the stone age to where we are now in a very short time.  So our goal is very realistic, and moving toward that goal is rewarding.  We are helping build something many of us will never see.  That's amazing to me. We are coming together from all over this tiny dot to push humanity in to space.  We are not concerned by the small things such as birth place, color of skin, or religion.  We are working to push humanity past these and in to the future.  Humanity is amazing.

I think I'm starting to understand the reason for the election changes.  Article 48  of the Constitution states the parliament must be elected within 6 months of the ratification of the constitution.  That is the reason of the date change.  The only other thing that I believe can be the reason for the age is that there will not be a runoff in any close races where there are seats with no clear winner.  Article 46 gives the head of the power to take action to get a parliament seated.  Once that happens the constitution will be in effect and all the empty seats can be filled.  So it's a very understandable why they changed the rules to meet the constitutional requirements of having a sitting parliament  in 6 months.  I don't like the idea of excluding those who want to take an active roll in our government but I understand the reasoning behind the changes.

It seems that the elections will end on January 1st and only candidates over the age of 40 will be eligible for the election.  That means many people will not get a chance to run for office and it's upsetting quite a few.  I'm in the over 40 group and I disagree with the change to the rules.  That being said, I understand the need for the change. Just like the constitution we need to get it done and being we are currently in a country run by a monarch there is little we can do to change that now.  All we can do is try to understand the necessity of the change.  After we have a sitting parliament we can hammer out all the details we need to.  Those who you support that are not in the over 40 age group can continue to work on behalf of Asgardia and her people for a better future.  I personally, if elected will be seeking those people out and asking for their help.  This first parliment will start laying the foundation on which Asgardia will be built, and as we all know Rome was not built by one person in one day.  We want to build something that will last for thousands of years but we need to get the foundation built and this election will lay the next brick beside the brick the constitution laid to get us started on our path to the future.

I am extremely happy to see so many active Asgardians.  We have come a long way in a short time and we have a lot more to do.  Please don't get discouraged if it seems things are moving too slow.  If it is moving slowly there are fewer chances for mistakes and more people will be able to have a voice in what happens.

I'm Shimo. This is the first time to post on this community.

By the way, this photo is of the Katsura-Hama, a beach of Kochi prefecture, Japan.

In 19th century, Japanese was broken whether they kept to close the country or should open to other countries. Ryoma Sakamoto, who contributed to open a country, might have seen other countries and future from this beach in his young days.

Now, in this new age, I also want to see other countries and future from Japan.
