We're Day -4 today!

It had been announced through the new "event" tab under "social" of the awesome new design of our website that there was to be a meetup for the Asgardians and other Earthlings to gather around the theme of the building of our Nation on Saturday 27 April 2019 at 6pm here in Kuala Lumpur.

Coming from far and close (coming from the South of Kuala Lumpur, some friends had to drive for about an hour to get to our meeting!), Asgardians and their friends made their way to the venue located North of the City of Kuala Lumpur to get their dose of fresh news about their favorite Space Nation and rejoice together on its latest progress!

During the 4 hours of the event, we had quite a few people showing up! Not everyone was able to stay the whole four hours but among all who could make the time, we had four attendees who were actual Asgardian Residents and who came with their friends. Others came with their family and relatives who wanted to learn more about the Space Nation. Thinking about it, we actually had people coming from 4 different continents and from 6 different countries, representing the diversity of our community and illustrating our dear motto "One Humanity, One Unity"!
Some had questions to ask while others had stories to share about Asgardia and it all led to having nice discussions and exchange of views! During the time of the meeting (even before it started) we had a few people asking what our meeting was about! The banner proved to be a useful identifier in that respect (a lady who didn't know about Asgardia even took a picture of it)! :-)
Many questions revolved around the history of our Nation, its current plans and developments, what its main goals and objectives are, when our Solar currency is going to be launched, what the difference between Resident status and Citizenship status is, etc.

We had a real good time sharing about the achievements and upcoming projects of our Nation and when the clock hit 10pm and it was time to say goodbye, I couldn't believe that 4 hours had already passed... It seems that time enters space velocity when Asgardians and like-minded people get together to talk about the First Space Nation! ;-)

Our next Kuala Lumpur meet-up is set to take place in late July this year. Keep an eye on the "event" tab not to miss it and don't hesitate to come and join us then!!
