Me estaba preguntando cuanta gente en México esta interesada en el proyecto, es decir, sé que existen muchas personas que se interesaron en el proyecto por tener la nacionalidad "Asgardiana" o bien por tener algún tipo de reconocimiento extra por serlo, pero en realidad: ¿cuántos de nosotros estamos realmente interesados en el desarrollo central del proyecto? , la investigación, la unidad descentralizada y esperanzados a los nuevos avances y descubrimientos científicos en el espacio.

Soy un Mexicano interesado en la investigación espacial, soy un humano interesado en la unidad de la especie para la evolución del mismo, pero también soy un Asgardiano preocupado por el camino del proyecto.

Me gustaría poder hacer más que solo revisar la web y leer los avances en ella, me gustaría poder conocer más Asgardianos en mi ciudad y poder actuar o colaborar para poner nuestro granito de arena.

Existe un proyecto de la UNAM, donde una investigadora propone emplear CO2 y energía solar para generar gasolina u otros hidrocarburos.

Si esto se logra ayudará a reducir la contaminación, ya que se podrá capturar el CO2 de la atmósfera para emplearlo en este proceso.

En la atmósfera de Marte existe CO2, y también hay hielo seco. Obtener hidrocarburos sería un paso muy importante para la creación de una base permanente en el planeta rojo

El Homo Sapiens Sapiens es una especie racional e inteligente, hasta donde sabemos es la única en esta parte de la galaxia, y sin duda somos únicos y especiales.

Podemos crear herramientas, comunicarnos, planear para el futuro.

La tierra es un lugar maravilloso, pero la cantidad de recursos es limitada.

Reciclar es una buena opción, pero también hay que dejar de producir tantos productos desechables. Si no hay productos "úsese y tirese" no hay que preocuparse del reciclado.

Enseñar en las escuelas que no hay "materias feas", que las matemáticas y la esculturas son ambas igual de importantes; enseñar a hacer preguntas y a pensar de modos originales.

I read the first approach to the official constitution of Asgardia and the first impression was great!  But later i think more deepest about it and the only thing what i can suggest for make perfect the political structure could be incorporate a citizen commitment with a vigilance and transparent bureau: the intelligence to serve to people, not to power, because that was one of greatest mistakes in earth planet government organization in many countries. What do you think about it?

My name is Gerardo Nunez, from Mexico City. I graduated in Accounting from the UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico) with a Diploma in Administration and Public Finance, as well as in coaching and organizational development. I am currently studying the Masters in Foreign Politics at the Instituto Tecnologico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey. I have worked in various projects in private companies as well as in Public Administration. I have collaborated in courses and trainings in UNCTAD-WTO (decentralized agency of the United Nations) as well as in productive projects with groups of Triqui and Mixtec women in the state of Oaxaca. I volunteer with various social and welfare organizations such as the Mexican Red Cross, Civil Protection and others.

My interest in applying my experience and knowledge in this new project of Asgardia is to contribute to the growth of this new nation, as well as enrich my knowledge and apply them systematically in the development processes of Asgardia.

We are always thinking and putting on the table that are the basic principles for a good government, created for a smart system for us. This government must be our property, be its shareholders. Many times we believe that there are only people who know personally and do not know those known by the pre-election propaganda. You can do this, but also some other ways to see them below:

Basic principles

These basic principles are those that allow individuals to achieve their goals by their own efforts, where necessary, with the help of a government, which is owned by them. Later on I will show you what your basic principles are.

Groups of discussion

Nowadays, the individual, in an election, only has the opportunity to choose one person among several, of whom he does not really know: he is known only for slogans and shows of prepared teams. It is much better to choose a person who is well known. So why not have a discussion group, where citizens meet periodically, a talk about the problems of their region and how to solve them. Then they select one from the group to have the representatives in the next level discussion group. There would be many levels of discussion group stories. The highest level discussion group then selects the group as the coordinator. In this way and at all levels, the person chosen is well known by the group he chose.

Municipality

The basic political unit should be the municipality. It will be owned by citizens, who have an action each in this company. The cost of having a government must be paid to the municipality through a single tax. So this level of cost is obvious. Citizens, as owners of the municipality and to level the income in some way, will receive a monthly dividend. The municipality will regulate the Basic Principles through municipal laws, thus helping citizens and shareholders achieve their goals, protection and support in adversity. The services are subcontracted as far as possible, to private companies.

The higher levels of government

There are many names for high-level government strata, stories such as districts, provinces, territories, states, nations, and in the future, continental governments and a planetary government.

For jobs that the municipality can not perform alone, hire and pay for services to the next highest level of government. This in turn makes it to the next highest level. The laws and actions of a high level government at its level by the next lowest level. Once approved by vote, they are mandatory for all lower levels.

Main deficiencies of the real system

In most countries, citizens have no control over government. Suggestions and protests and a choice every four years is an inadequate method of control. The control must be permanent and effective.

The cost of government in most nations is too high. It is ridiculous to pay between 40% and 50% of our income to a government for this type of taxes. In medieval times 10% was considered reasonable. Today, with the help of computers, this percentage is even lower. To this we must add the cost of the social dividend

The main danger of the proposed system

Citizens should start thinking only about the affairs of their own municipality and lose the global vision of the issues that concern the whole world.

Important notes

This system of governance will work best and the people involved (discussion groups) are educated people: they should know how to work cooperatively with others and at least recognize the importance of a well-functioning society.

A society is a complex system. It is difficult to predict like any change in a complex system, so changes will have to be made in small steps, observing the effect after each step, and changing the step if the result is not the desired one. A good way to start the implementation of discussion groups in some municipal communities.

Also see, in books or the internet, that is what the philosopher John Locke thought about systems of government.

In this blog we try to arrive at a new system of government based on a set of basic principles. Many details of this proposal surely need improvement, as will be appreciated when implementing this system. But it is time to change the present system of government, where people to a greater or lesser extent exist at the service of government, transforming it into a new system, where individuals are of the utmost importance and government is only a contracted and paid service for each person. If we all bet on changes in this direction, we can slowly reach a better system of government.

Me gustaría que se creara una mecánica educativa para los niños, que ya están registrados en asgardia,  para fomentar la cultura y el conocimiento, y enseñar tanto el himno como los valores y preceptos  de la nueva nación.

I am an engineer living and working in Mexico City. I have lived and studied in the United States in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Programming, Web Design and Project Management. I speak fluent English and Spanish and am learning French. I have created a blog for learning web development with free and paid courses. I wish to implement new technologies in web and internet communications for the benefit of all Asgardians. I truly believe in the core values of this monumental endeavor and that together we can create something truly unbelievable.

My first proposal would be the creation of a completely digital voting system that would provide the transparency and equality necessary for a pure democracy. This international voting system would allow for direct voting by citizens from anywhere in the world on important topics that would affect the social and political future of Asgardia without the need for representatives to make decisions for them based on their own interest or agenda. This transparency would provide protection from corruption or influence from political or corporate business entities.  If we are to establish a truly free society based on peace and the pursuit of knowledge and scientific progress, than we should start on the right foot from the beginning.

Another project I would carry out would be the creation of a centralized University with courses on everything from STEM (science, technology, engineering & mathematics), Social Sciences ( History, Sociology, Psychology, Politics, Philosophy & Religion, Education ), including physics, chemistry, biology, education, health & fitness, business & economics, arts & culture, and more! The University would bring educators from all over the planet together to form curriculum and course materials for different career paths. Specialists in every field will be able to easily create structured, standardized courses complete with videos, chats, forums, quizzes, reviews, exams, certifications and even job boards and business networking to start their career among fellow Asgardians!

There are many more posibilites and ideas to work on and I can asure the citizens of Asgardia of my commitment to making this first Space Nation in the history of humanity a success and a life-changing experience for all of it's members.
