Si la raza humana desea expandirse a otros mundos, hay muchos cambios que se necesitan: el cuerpo humano no responde bien a la falta de gravedad, ni a la radiación, por mencionar sólo un par de retos biológicos.

Pero como sociedad también hay muchas cosas que requieren ser cambiadas, y una de esas es el modelo económico, el cual se basa en la idea del CONSUMISMO: Hay que vender mucho, hay que hacer que la gente compre las cosas producidas aunque sean inútiles, pero está últimas se vuelven deseables por estar de moda. Y de preferencia que todo sea desechable, con una vida útil corta, para que la gente vuelva a comprar.

La vida de cada persona solo es tan valiosa como la cantidad de dinero que puede gastar en los productos que compra.

Si la humanidad va a recorrer el camino hacia las estrellas es necesario que desde el primer paso la sociedad este adaptada y deseosa de aprovechar todo lo que ofrezca está nueva edad. Existen muchas novelas y películas de distopías en donde la avaricia de empresas resta todo el valor a la vida, humana o de cualquier tipo: Aliens, Avatar... Si hacemos a un lado la parte de la ficción, en la historia reciente podemos encontrar que muchas empresas han puesto sus intereses por encima de la vida de las personas, y no dudan en arrasar con el medio ambiente.

El problema radica en que es bastante posible que esta conducta continúe.

My name is Jaime Del Río Monges. I am an Economist with post-graduate studies in Poverty Reduction and Development Management (MSc), and Development Studies (DPhil). I do have many years of working experience within the public and the private sectors, and one of my fields of specialization is development planning. I would like to put my knowlege, experience and passion for common good to our newly formed community. I have proven to be a strong and sensitive leader. I know how to lead teams in order to find and follow the best possible alternatives to confront challenges. I am a pragmatic idealist that believes that our humankind is capable of bulding up a fair and sustainable future for everyone.

Me estaba preguntando cuanta gente en México esta interesada en el proyecto, es decir, sé que existen muchas personas que se interesaron en el proyecto por tener la nacionalidad "Asgardiana" o bien por tener algún tipo de reconocimiento extra por serlo, pero en realidad: ¿cuántos de nosotros estamos realmente interesados en el desarrollo central del proyecto? , la investigación, la unidad descentralizada y esperanzados a los nuevos avances y descubrimientos científicos en el espacio.

Soy un Mexicano interesado en la investigación espacial, soy un humano interesado en la unidad de la especie para la evolución del mismo, pero también soy un Asgardiano preocupado por el camino del proyecto.

Me gustaría poder hacer más que solo revisar la web y leer los avances en ella, me gustaría poder conocer más Asgardianos en mi ciudad y poder actuar o colaborar para poner nuestro granito de arena.

As earthlings what define us is science and the desire of knowledge, so we will spread it through the universe.

As an environmental enengineer, with studies on chemistry and experience in the industry but most of all a science lover,  i seek to be part of this potencially new era of the human race and aport all my knowledge, creativity and energy to make it happen.

And here we are, awaiting for our destiny. So long we have dreamed living among the stars, to feel zero gravity and travel at the speed of light. Yesterday it was a dream,  yes, but today it's a dream come true. This is it, the future has come.

And from now on, future is our responsability, our actions will determinate not just the life of our descendants  but the life of an entire planet and all of it's population.

We will preserve as long as we can human life and all of it's nature, we will try to left a legacy of knowledge and prosperity to finally travel and live among the stars.

This is just the beggining.

Y aquí estamos, esperando nuestro destino. Tanto tiempo hemos soñado vivir entre las estrellas, sentir  la gravedad cero y viajar a la velocidad de la luz. Ayer fue un sueño, sí, pero hoy es un sueño hecho realidad, Esto es todo, el futuro ha llegado.

A partir de ahora el futuro es nuestra responsabilidad, nuestras acciones determinarán no sólo la vida de nuestros descendientes, sino la vida de todo un planeta y toda su población.

Conservaremos mientras podamos la vida humana y toda su naturaleza, trataremos de dejar un legado de conocimiento y prosperidad para finalmente viajar y vivir entre las estrellas.

Esto es sólo el comienzo.
