On the latest podcast of Space Citizen News, I was a bit surprised by all the things that were spoken about and announced. I will sum them up here... The latest version is still not correct of "A day in the life of a space citizen" Shameful to see that after weeks of waiting, no communications whatsoever, that the errors are still not updated in the PDF file, yet get promoted by Space Citizen and Nation Builders to be the finished product everyone should download. There is a statement that Nation Builders is building on various projects, however, we have not seen any activity for weeks from Nation Builders. That being said, they slowly coming out of their winter sleep and started to post regular meetings. So it is rather confusing that Space Citizen is promoting inaccurate information about the status of Nation Builders. What I slowly start to wonder is if this is not an Asgardia Podcast...or focused on Asgardia subjects. But rather a Nation Builders podcast? In the whole podcast I have heard more about Nation Builders, what they do, how great they are, and what they are trying to achieve. Sorry to say, but that is kinda distracting from the purpose of the podcast. If, however, this is your goal...then you can dismiss this observation. While the interview with the Asgardian Mayor candidate was good to hear about, it kinda shines a lot on the positive light of it all. Yet when you look around on the social network of Asgardia.space and the Asgardia Discord, you can see a certain distasteful of the Mayor Election system not being very ...effective. There are a few other problems, but in this podcast, it was chosen not to go deeper into it. I was kinda looking forward to hearing more from Walker as his candidate profile was rather....short listed. But to start off with the sentence "Asgardia as a Concept" while Asgardia actually is a reality is a poor start. Beyond that, it was more that I was listening to someone reading up a poem of how nations should look at Asgardia, rather than to hear what the good candidate wishes to achieve or rather how, what he wants to do and how he is going to do it. Thought I am grateful to know that he has a medical work background and knows a few languages. Not a word was spoken that candidates of the By-Election potentially can use the Discord server and be reachable for questions or promote themselves there. A lost there... Wow-what? There has not been one mention of a Social network being created in any of the documents released by Asgardia Parliament Official. Should this kind of announcement not be confirmed by them first and rather hearing it from another source? Are we dealing here with a breach of confidential information or how was this information even obtained? So all in all, where the goal of the podcast is to get more answers.....I got more questions out of it.

With the continued contributions of Cranfield University we are making great progress in the mission architecture and payload design (our space embryo incubator). Prof. David Cullen and I have just finished supervising another SpaceBorn United research project regarding the LOTUS mission. A key role for researcher Sharon D'Souza this time (also credits for Dr. Joseph Parker for his valuable contributions).

Alright so I am going to throw out an idea for a Community Project, it has been on my mind for quite some time but I couldn't figure out the content that would relate to it that would profile Asgardia in the right light. But as most of you know is that I do podcasts or have experience within it. So you might figure it out already, the aim is a podcast. The problem, however, what can I potentially give as content that gives enough that listeners stay with it. That is by all means...the tricky part. I thought about news and updates but know that Space Citizen News with Ivan does that and does an excellent job with it. So what then? About the volunteer center? Potentially, but I wanted to get more ....closer to the community and not directly related to my function as Volunteer Coordinator. So today, after listening to another podcast, I came with the following content idea. I will pitch it in here so without any support I won't make it, because doing a podcast takes a lot of time. But basically the red line is that it becomes an interaction podcast. Talk about Asgardia and the depths of it, how it affects the echelons of our society from Asgardian to Member of Parliament. Just have chit chat between a guest of the podcast and myself talking a more in-depth about Asgardia. Why this typical route? Because in my fair opinion, it would be interesting to get to know who is behind that discord name, that Asgardia profile. But also related where we had some great discussions on discord about the By-Election, the mayor system, the petition system. And other things that are worth our time and interest that make Asgardia great. It also gives the opportunity to understand each other, bring each other closer. The idea is still floaty that we understand each other, but do we really understand each other? The goal of this podcast is to understand each other. It also opens up the dialogue and thinking progress of honest opinions, changes, and such. Like for example, I got let's say @Rajat Raina | Arcane Space in my podcast, he is an Asgardian. So Parliament and Administration can ask questions (to me) where they want his opinion, reaction, and thinking. Same as @Ben Dell (Riebens) being in the podcast, then Asgardians can ask questions (again to me) that will bring forth the opinion and thinking process of Ben. Now I don't say that Rajat or Ben represents the whole Asgardians or MP, but to get to know the individual, you might learn quite a bit about each other. Or have a three-way conversation with Asgardian and a Mayor. It's all ideas that could potentially make the idea and podcast interesting. In this final amendment, I address my experience of the petition system that Asgardia currently uses. The system has flaws and it needs serious depth investigation as it currently is by far friendly towards our fellow Asgardians. This amendment is an amendment as our right to do a petition is made difficult if not impossible with this system.

In the third amendment I sent towards the Parliament, I reflect and plead for a heavy change in the current election process in regards to the current profiling of the Parliament candidates. It is no new news that I am disappointed in the number of candidates that are not able to reflect on the basic questions Who, What, Which, Why and How? This amendment should take care of that problem, the problem that candidates, serious candidates get elected and not automatically seat at the table for not validly and democratically gaining the position.

Today, I send a second attempt to convince the Parliament to lower the age of the current election. I upped the age from 25 to 30 to make it more feasible to succeed. But by itself it is only logical that this amendment should be taken seriously, the last time I did this I only got the notification "It was discussed" and after that, it went quiet. Parliament is our voice, our eyes, and represents our thoughts. The people are resisting and want to be involved in this great endeavor, so take us seriously and listen to our suggestions.

We got about 22 candidates by now, august is just starting and we are quite some time in the by-election for the parliament. From those 22 candidates, I voted 8 with one actually in doubt a bit. But why Patrick, why would you do this? We need people in the Parliament to represent us and work for a great Asgardia. If I wanted people that can do poems, rip-off speaking opinions that came from Facebook or not even a mention of what they are going to do for me, representing my vote within the parliament. Then I have to disappoint you, you will not receive my vote of confidence. I need to know that you will do actually something in there, that you have the vision to get in. I am actually surprised that Asgardia allowed such bad candidate profiles to be allowed for voting? It's just sad to see 75% of those folks that did apply didn't even explain one tiny bit of what they want to do, what they want to focus on, or what they bring to the table to change something in Asgardia. So for future candidates...you want my vote? Get a good Candidate Profile. If Asgardia Parliament wants more candidates...lower the age requirement and I know for sure you will get more folks.

Today I noticed that the by election is going with more candidates. But in my fair opinion it is way to low, we got 13 out of 55 candidates currently on the page, without taking into account that I didn’t vote for all of them. This alone is proof enough to me that the constitution needs to be edit. Lower the age of that is required to be a candidate. There is a petition, which pretty much reach deaf ears. Why? Think about it.. I make a petition, got to promote it, with almost no network, I can’t abuse my discord powers to get everyone attention. So reaching 1000 votes (with a voting system that barely works) is impossible. I made a plead to bring this to the table, only got the info that it was discussed and nothing else happened afterwards. But now we are looking at a pretty sad start of the by election. So I plead to the parliament to look at the age criteria to be lowered... or the real election will be a disaster.

Cinematic with Wolfe (Greyhound) Storyline ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Presentation ⭐⭐⭐ Actors ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Summary: Ah the movie that I have been looking forward to, Greyhound. A movie with Tom Hanks as the main star to Captain the ship Greyhound. Their mission, get the convoy to England at any cost. The story is not a slow build up, it throws you at once into it and before you know it you are middle of already a combat situation. The tension that is building up in certain moments of the story is greatly explained and done. The presentation was a bit lacking to my taste, sometimes you could just see that certain elements came from a 3D program. But all-in-all is that made up by the balance acting of Tom Hanks that gives everyone on the ship that glory of being on the main screen. Is this as good as 1917? No, but it is a great movie to look that keeps you locked at the screen until they arrive in England...or do they?

When elected as a Member of Parliament I want to support all aspects of Asgardian progress. I can especially contribute strongly to three areas: 1. Enriching & accelerating Asgardia’s science roadmap Encouraged by research from SpaceBorn United, I see many opportunities we can unlock and translate into feasible mission designs that enable reproduction in space step by step. 2. Uniting people of all regions, races & religions Enabling reproduction in space is crucial to becoming a multi-planetary species. This beautiful and important step in our evolution is something that should include & unite people worldwide. 3. Expanding Asgardia's expert network Asgardia's already impressive network can be further expanded through my specialist contacts in research and industry relating to missions supporting human procreation in space. My experience in developing ARTIS (Assisted Reproductive Technology in Space) provides a pathway to the first stages of reproduction in space: conception and early embryo development. In addition, I am involved in researching the conditions and mission designs for actual childbirth in space. Asgardia's key scientific goal has the potential to unite many people and enrich global self-esteem, demonstrating strong ethical values that I wholeheartedly support. This is why my company, SpaceBorn United, includes 'United' in its name. I believe that combining my network of research and industry partners with Asgardia's network can help accelerate the scientific innovations that will not only inspire Asgardians, but also the global space life science sector and many others. It will also provide valuable business potential, including biomedical innovations that will benefit Asgardia's economy, the space sector in general, and practical Earth applications. Personal resilience On a personal level, I believe I can inspire other people (both within and outside Asgardia) to hold on to big dreams and work hard to make them a reality. In my life I have overcome adversity in many ways, several times coming close to giving up on my goals. but always finding ways to persevere and continue towards my dreams. It would be an honour to serve as an MP and in doing so contribute to realising Asgardia's inspiring goals and dreams for both now and the future.
