Good day! I saw an interesting topic being proposed on the discord, and I think it should receive some attention. The consideration to keep in mind is called space junk, we got quite some trash up there in orbit of our planet. Its considered not to be a problem due that the size of the object would burn in our atmosphere. But we of Asgardia want to go to space and we require to keep in mind out of the prospect of security, what do we do about the space junk? Now there are various solutions, we could clean it up and recycle what is up there. We could protect ourselves when an object would change course to one of our marks. We could keep it stable in orbit of what its already in. The possibilities are endless, and very much worth thinking about! What do you all think?

Good day all! I've been puzzling about the possibility of the science behind cloning. Now I placed this in here as I don't want to put an in-depth discussion about what it is or how it works. More the idea behind it, many nations have expressed their belief in the topic of cloning, and most of them are ethically saying no to it as it is not in our rights to take over a process of nature itself. This can be supported by either religion or just socialized community vision upon the topi. I myself would say that it is a medical yes because cloning can help restore the last body parts (gross way of formalizing it) to those that are by incident lost it or by illness need a new one. Personally I am not behind full-grown cloning bodies as that is in my opinion ethical wrong. But if it is used to let someone walk again or even see, maybe worth checking it out? So what does the Asgardian community think about it?

Hey all, On the discord, we were talking about the sustainable areas to live. Space, the Moon, or beyond. But then I thought... let's go back a few steps. What about Earth? We already looked at unclaimed land (Antarctica) or the sea (oil platforms that are abandoned). But did we ever consider that we could also go underwater? I mean the technology is there, sure it needs some tweaking here and there, but the ocean on itself is not claimed by anyone, we do need to keep in mind for ship lines. What does everyone think?

An Idea, might have been discussed on different forums, so apology in advance if I am doubling this. I was conflicted to post it either here or in Asgardia. But anyway, the idea is related to the actual passport that is at this moment future music. I study in security and privacy and your ID is very important as it defines who you are and that you are part of the space nation. My suggestion/idea is to make a digital print, I mean with this that you got a unique ID, with your picture, your iris scan, information, and status (Asgardian or Resident). Additionally, I would say, link a Two-Way-Authentication to it. Why? Because the security system is linked to one unique mobile and it secures your passport ID. So for example, you want to update your status from Asgardia to Resident, you let an app scan your ID and a Two-Way-Authentication is required to continue. You received the code, insert the code, and continue paying your sols. Of course, you can add more to it, but this could be a useful start :)

I would like to provide the idea and if not already considered that the website and other exclusive services to Asgardian and Resident people are being secured more. Using a better inlog system security to be able to activate two-way-authentication would be something that needs to get attention. What does the community think about that?

Good day, Alright this is my first real topic in Asgardia and it was one that got me thinking since the foundation of Asgardia. The constitution that we all agree upon when registration for this lovely space nation mentions that equality is required on various levels, various people, and cultures. But also religious and that's something that I am wondering about... History speaks for itself that religious acts can plausibly collide with each other in understanding how the world spins. They got different clothing, songs, rituals, and free days. Now to combine that in Asgardia and speak of equality between religious groups is, in my opinion, a far fetched. While I understand the concept that people come to a common ground of understanding in Asgardia. But the real question is, are people going to put their difference aside and willingly accept and respect each other beliefs? If not, how are we going to deal with this concept? How are we going to respond to the problem? I figure it is good to ask now, then hit the roadblock later.

I've been away for a while and it's nice to see Asgardia is still very much alive! I would like to make a proposition related to the economy of Asgardia. From what I have read it seems like the Solar is built on the same principles as the Euro, Dollar, ... I might be wrong but I have not found details about how the money is created. It is issued by the central bank but is it issued as debt-less money or is it debt-based? Is it interest bearing or not? If anyone has detailed documents about this I'd be interested. I've been doing research on monetary systems and how they influence behaviour and societal organisation and the impact is major and invisible for most. I believe that a nation that strives for perpetual peace and respect for all, no matter their ethnicity, religion, gender, background, ... should also implement the use of 'good' money. The money we use today around the planet, no matter what the currency, does not live up to that. It has a negative effect on our behaviour towards others, creates financial stress for most (even the rich) and pushes our economy towards exponential growth which our planet can not support. i love really really love space it may be an giant death trap of radiation and things willing to kill you but its also full of opertunities for example if you accendly attempt to land on jupiter you be toast exept if you manage to fly away before you hit the inner layers and there is barly anything special beeing able to be mined from jupiter as before u hit its rare crystal filled core your probe/object gets eaten by a sea of metallic hydrogen but if you land on an astroid then start digging ASEP cause some are litrary made of diamonds,platnium and other rare metals and then you have the sun giving us life sustaining heat but also kills anything that gets to close altough deadly if you manage to make a dyson sphere then your gooing to have a heck of an ammound of engery

I basically believe we can already build space elevators,bases and much more by exploiting the earth's high winds at the high altitudes using a giant skyscraper and specialized hydrogen/oxygen farms based on dynamos connected to very robust windmills we can make the skyscraper pyramid shaped so that its strong also we will build it in international waters and make asgardia a earth nation super-building we will invite all citizens to it with free transportation to the pyramid witch we make a completely in-depended housing unit/nation witch can sustain live on its own by distilling ocean water to drinkable water/salt and fishing for any fish that is not a endangered species we begin by making a floating foundation made of concrete witch has a giant stainless steel thank filled with water and air to make it float(about as big as the entire platform this way we can colonize both space and the ocean we will also an build underwater city connected to the skyscraper witch we will call Atlantis i will be making a community for this idea witch will have this as a description and witch i will commend a link later on

my idea is to make asgardia a continend and planets there countries so i wanted the following: 1. all planets and there population can choose there leader(exept earth cause earth has its goverments) 2. the planet's goverment can choose to be part of asgardia 3. each planet/moon has its own set of rules,military and chooises 4. the sun is not ownable but can be used for dyson spheres in wich case the one making there sphere controlls what to do with the engery but is required to keep earth,venus,mars,etc with the required ammound of sunlight/sun radiation 5. each galaxy has a leader choosen by its inhabitans 6. mining is allowed with permisison of the planet's population/owner 7. the planet's owner may choose a name for his/her/hens country 8. astroids are for everyone and not ownable(but its resources are) 9. the moon is public domain and may be mined and used aslong u dont depleat it
