Hello, fellow Asgardians!

My name is Boris. I was born in France (I also have roots in Poland and Sweden) but I left my country of birth 11 years ago. Since then, I had the chance to work in Europe, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific regions. This exposure to various cultures, religions, societies and ways of life has been an incredible adventure so far and made me a citizen of the world (as I cannot limit myself anymore to the French identity alone).

I always wanted to be engaged in a political movement dedicated to lead humanity towards unity, respect and sustainable development, but I couldn't find anywhere an organisation that defends those values with integrity. On Earth, politicians are too busy fighting for their re-election to actually implement any meaningful laws that could actually benefit the society as a whole (as opposed to competing ideologies that often lead to conflicts, whether militarily, economically or politically).

Life on Earth became too complicated, too stressful, too disappointing... In the other hand, space is still a vast and unspoiled territory that will eventually become our new home. As the first extraterrestrial Nation, Asgardia has the responsibility to give mankind a new basis to sustain life beyond Earth and a new legal framework for a just and sustainable society.

As a seasoned Oil & Gas professional with an extensive experience in International Business Law and Project Management (I have participated to some of the biggest and most challenging technical projects in the world) and with a passion for science and space, I wish to dedicate my skills and experience to the development of Asgardia as a Nation promoting respect, fairness and progress to lead mankind towards the stars.

If you share the same vision for Asgardia, I would be honoured to receive your endorsement to become a member of the first Asgardian government. Indeed, I am "only" 38 years old and, in accordance with the Constitution, I am not eligible to become a member of the Parliament; therefore I hope to get your support to be considered for a government position (I strongly disagree with the age limitations that were defined in the Constitution and, if I am given the opportunity, I will seek an amendment to the constitution to repel them, because I don't think that those limitations are in line with the Supreme Values of Asgardia).

Long live Asgardia!

I assume that like me, many Asgardians wanted to join this initiative because of the daily disappointments faced on our planet: corrupt and/or inefficient governments, social inequities, unfulfilling professional lives, stressful finances, deteriorating environment... There must be another way to live our lives!

The Asgardian Nation could just be the second chance our humanity needs to leave the old ways behind and build a better future.

The Asgardia's Constitution gave me a lot of hope, emphasizing values such as dignity, respect and progress.

After the adoption of the Constitution, the hopes of the Asgardians shall be materialised by the first Laws and Treaties with other Earth Nations to establish the basis on which this new Nation shall be built.

To have a future, Asgardia shall:

A. Seek international and legal recognition of its status and territory (for now, in the digital domain, in accordance with the Constitution; in the future, in space and, to some extent, on Earth).

B. Set goals and govern accordingly. For the Asgardian to adhere to the Nation, the government of Asgardia shall create opportunities for its citizens to strive (economical initiatives towards the population and economical exploitation of space, education in accordance with the Supreme Values of Asgardia, development of laws and regulations for the peaceful and lawful exploitation of extraterrestrial resources, etc.)

C. Build its assets for the Nation to develop and to reach the stars! Without financial means and a strong economy, Asgardia will never be able to take off from Earth. The government of Asgardia shall create Public-Private Partnerships and other forms of ventures that shall provide Asgardia the means to develop and implement its policies on Earth and beyond.

D. Finally, create a new model of society based on the Supreme Values of Asgardia, which shall give mankind a fresh start in space. Considering how difficult it is to reach consensus on Earth , whether at the level of a country or at the United Nations, to develop a new nation out of this framework appears to be a workable solution, which could inspire people and help them fulfil their expectations.

I was inspired by Mr. ASHURBEYLI's initiative and now I would be very honoured to serve Asgardia and participate to its development as the first human extraterrestrial nation!
