I was born in September 1968, in the midst of the Czechoslovak crisis. All were very tense and slowly bought buckwheat and salt.
My mother gave birth for the first time. besides, she was very nervous about my father. Because her siblings, all the time talking about the purity of the Bashkir nation, were very unhappy that she married a Caucasian and thereby negated millions of years of evolution and national selection. The funny thing is, their wives were not Bashkir at all.
My father is a man of hotness and for any provocation he gave the offender in the eye. Then the three of them attacked him and started hitting him. Two of the brothers were boxers, dischargers and champions. But they were urban, and my father grew up all his life in the foothills of Azerbaijan, in clean air, goat milk and tandoor bread, and my mother's brothers - on the sausage of the doctor’s and white loaf. therefore, having run up and sweeping their fists, they quickly got tired, and my father only got into shape. When everyone was already fatigued, they had no choice but to blame and put up.
The brothers for some reason called my father Alik, he did not object, for my mother the main thing was calm and peace, which after the conflict was established for a couple of months. After the next "hostilities", I was born a couple of months before the due date. We lived in the basement of a large private house of his grandfather, a former bai, dispossessed during collectivization.
After a year and a half, my sister and parents appeared, tired of the scandals, for some reason decided to go to Uzbekistan. My father was a communist and in some way the party entrusted him with directing the department store. As soon as the father signed all the necessary documents about the acceptance of authority, an audit came to the store and found a major shortage, about a thousand rubles.
In those days, it was money for which you could buy a black Volga. The court ruled 2.5 years in prison with the payment of damages. In the colony he was put to work at a construction site and after 11 months he was allowed to live with his family in a hut.
We lived together with criminals, their wives and children, and the rules in the settlement were like in a colony. But there was one plus - stealing from each other was considered mean-spirited. Once the neighbor thief could not resist and pulled the iron from the kitchen window sill. In the evening, he crept up and put another iron on the window-sill. So, he stole, he drank, he slept, he understood what he had done, he went to the city, he stole another one and brought it in at night and replaced it.
But he did not realize that Mom understood everything and when he put a new iron on her, she turned on the light in the kitchen. while he apologized and asked him not to tell anyone about the iron, she looked him squarely in his eyes and did not say a word. All internal problems of the population of the village were not decided by the authorities, but by the internal council, which included the most authoritative residents. and if the story of the iron surfaced, then the thief would not be good.
A year later, my father was transferred to a free settlement in the village of Zhdanov. We lived in a small apartment of a two-storey block house, and around our village there was an endless steppe with tall grass that was constantly swaying like the waves of the ocean. I loved to stand on the balcony and look at the steppe, and this occupation did not bother me. In my opinion, one can look at the steppe ocean endlessly. But the steppe is treacherous. One day, the boys and I ran across the steppe, and I rashly fell into the well of the pipeline. In the middle of a large and deep concrete hole vertically stuck a one and a half meter pin with a valve the size of a truck steering wheel. When I was flying my head on this pin, I was so scared that it seemed to be able to slow down time and figure out how to put my hands in order to push off from the metal “bagel” in time. Then I remember that I was lying on the floor wet from rainwater, covered in cuts and abrasions, because there were broken bottles everywhere from under cheap port wine. And I was also afraid that one of my friends would fall into the mine too, and so I shouted for a long time that they would look at their feet and not run away. I was found an hour later and dragged out, and my father and other settlers piled a concrete hole in the steppe until nightfall.
In the village of Zhdanov there were many Greeks and Koreans.
these were exiled communists, political refugees. they were sheltered by the fraternal Soviet Union and settled to live in sunny Uzbekistan. The entire population of the village was actively assimilated and mutually crossed. Constantly something celebrated. The hits of the season were, of course, weddings. Greek-Korean, Korean-Uzbek, Uzbek-Greek, Greek-Russian, Russian-Uzbek and others.
They carried sheets of chipboard to the streets, put them on building struts-goats, covered them with tablecloths and began to sing and dance. The Greeks are very good musicians, cheerful and tireless, could play for many hours in a row and did not get tired. Koreans quietly and imperceptibly wore their fragrant dishes to the tables on large trays, Uzbek chefs conjured over a huge cauldron with pilaf, the Greeks treated everyone to white diced cheese and sang cheerful songs. And they certainly solemnly drank for the Communist Parties of the USSR, Greece and North Korea, for their party leaders and against NATO. And my father, who was expelled from the party because of the article, was all comforted and told that he would be restored.

Mother shook her head and dropped "Well, well." It was clear to her that the party of her naive husband had set up, covering the theft of the previous store manager. And her father argued endlessly with her. He believed that the bright ideas of communism perverted separate scum.

Of course, the father was not reinstated in the party. I finished the first class and then all my convictions and debts were removed from my father.

And we somehow very sharply left to live in a small military town of fighter pilots on the border of Azerbaijan and Iran.

By this time, we already had another little sister, the five of us were huddled in wooden dos. DOS is the Officer's House, and there were no streets in our town. There were dos 5 or 12. Mother worked as a waitress in the officers' canteen, and her father worked at the construction site of a residential building. And so the mother came to the head of the rear of the military unit, Tatar Haji-Gali. It was a huge, cheerful and kind man with a huge nose eggplant shape. He was very personable and he always blew sparkling energy. He always reminded me of a dashing May beetle, from which one shine and a festive mood.

Everyone loved him, respected him, followed his advice and was called Haji Khan. Everyone knew that if Haji Khan promised something, then this is iron!

Haji-Ghali liked our family, and I was in the same class with his youngest daughter Elvira. Elvira sat down with me at the same desk and shamelessly copied from me. And although she was caught all the time, it was clear to everyone that Elvira was like water off a duck's back. By her character, she was a replica of her father - the same swinger and self-confident one hundred percent. She was similar in form and manners to her mother — to Aunt Zoya, the most shebuty and cheerful officer’s wife, but her face and hairstyle was the poured singer Zemfira at the beginning of her career. With the same bangs, stubborn lips and bold eyes.

Of course, we were friends of families. And adults decided that I should definitely marry Elvira. Elvira did not mind, but I obstinately thought - you FIGHT, I myself will decide how I live and whom I marry. That is why I once left home with a flock of sheep. I decided that I would be better a free shepherd than to obey bad decisions. The shepherds fed me a fried dove and put me to sleep in a cart. In the middle of the night, a green UAZ burst into the flock, a tired military commander came out and asked if they had not seen the eight-year-old boy. The shepherds looked at me and so they returned me to the family. Of course, they vypali, but the next five years, they no longer tried to marry.

Haji Khan somehow got home for us. Previously, it was the barracks of a platoon of signalers, then they were transferred somewhere, but the house had a very important room - a telephone switchboard. He was in a small concrete compartment in the middle of the barracks with a meter thick walls and a thick iron door. Everything in this switch worked automatically and silently, but from time to time several telecom operators appeared with handsets, they barely opened the door, climbed inside, pegged the terminals and plugs and mumbled something into their black pipes:
- Bubu-sixteenth check shoulder six thirteen.
- The fifth, not my pair, bu-bu-bu, now everything is a bunch ... bu-bu-bu check the highway.

We listened to these spy passwords with delight and everyone strove to look into the coveted "switch". it seemed to us that this is a magic room, in which there must be a secret underground passage leading to Moscow.

The house stood on a wasteland between the military town and an abandoned stadium, exactly in the middle. When they handed it over to us, it was a miserable, cold spectacle - all the frames were torn, there were no doors, the windows were broken and the whole house was dirtied. The military commissar graciously singled out to us a certain amount of building materials, Haji Khan advised and added cement, sand, and chipboard glass from his stocks.

Day and night, my father and I kneaded the solution, and dragged water from the nearest swamp, my father plastered and smoked, I dragged water and turned sand and cement over with an unsupportable spade.

A month later, we were connected to water and sewage, the signalmen extended the wires and turned on the electricity, and by the new school year we moved to live in a new house.

It was 1975, war raged in Vietnam, we denounced American aggressors in school in political information classes and collected signatures under the demand that the US withdraw troops from the fraternal country. I even volunteered to go to Saigon on a school-wide line, but our director cut off, - No, friends, we need you here more!

And then I grew up and, at the age of 45, made the first short film. I didn’t study much anywhere, I studied everything on my own and in theory and in practice, I made music clips, reports and documentaries for several years before I decided on a feature film.

Моя мама рожала впервые. кроме того, она очень нервничала из-за моего отца. Но они были городские, а отец всю жизнь рос в предгорьях Азербайджана, на чистом воздухе, козьем молоке и хлебе из тандыра, а мамины братья - на колбасе докторской и белом батоне. поэтому набегавшись и намахавшись кулаками, они быстро уставали, а отец только входил в форму. Когда все уже падали от усталости, им ничего не оставалось как виниться и мириться.

Братья почему-то прозвали моего отца Алик, он не возражал, для мамы главным было спокойствие и мир, который после конфликта устанавливался на пару месяцев. После очередных "боевых действий" я и родился на пару месяцев раньше положенного срока. Жили мы в полуподвале большого частного дома деда, бывшего бая, раскулаченного при коллективизации.

Через полтора года на свет появилась сестра и родители, устав от скандалов, почему-то решили поехать в Узбекистан. Отец был коммунистом и каким-то образом партия поручила ему руководить промтоварным магазином. Как только отец подписал все необходимые документы о принятии полномочий, в магазин нагрянула ревизия и обнаружили крупную недостачу, порядка тысячи рублей.

В те времена это были деньги, на которые можно было купить черную "Волгу". Суд постановил 2,5 года колонии с выплатой ущерба. В колонии его поставили работать на стройку и через 11 месяцев разрешили жить с семьей в бараке.

Мы жили вместе с уголовниками, их женами и детьми и порядки в поселении были как в колонии. Но был один плюс - воровать друг у друга считалось подлым. Однажды сосед-вор не удержался и стянул с подоконника кухни утюг. Вечером подкрался и положил на подоконник другой утюг. Значит, украл, пропил, проспался, понял, что натворил, пошел в город, украл другой и ночью принес и подменил.

Но он не учел, что мама все понимала и когда он подкладывал новый утюг, она включила на кухне свет. пока тот извинялся и просил не говорить никому про утюг, она в упор смотрела ему в глаза и не проронила ни слова. Все внутренние проблемы населения поселка решались не органами власти, а на внутреннем совете, в который входили самые авторитетные жители. и если бы история с утюгом всплыла, то вору бы не поздоровилось.

Через год отца перевели на вольное поселение в поселок Жданов. Мы жили в маленькой квартире двухэтажного блочного дома,а вокруг нашего поселка была бескрайняя степь с высокой травой, которая постоянно раскачивалась как волны океана. я очень любил стоять на балконе и смотреть на степь и это занятие мне не надоедало. По-моему, на степной океан можно смотреть бесконечно. Но степь коварна. Однажды мы с мальчишками бегали по степи и я сгоряча провалился в колодец трубопровода. Посреди большой и глубокой бетонной дыры вертикально торчал полутораметровый штырь с вентилем размером с руль грузовика.Когда я летел головой на этот штырь я так испугался, что, кажется, смог замедлить время и рассчитать каким образом поставить руки, чтобы вовремя оттолкнуться от металлической «баранки». Дальше помню, что лежал на мокром от дождевой воды полу, весь в порезах и ссадинах, потому что всюду лежали битые бутылки из-под дешевого портвейна. А еще я боялся, что кто-нибудь из моих друзей тоже упадет в шахту и поэтому я долго кричал, чтобы они смотрели под ноги и не разбегались. меня нашли через час и вытащили, а отец с другими поселенцами до ночи заколачивали досками бетонную дыру в степи.

В поселке Жданов было много греков и корейцев.

это были ссыльные коммунисты, политические беженцы. их приютил братский Советский Союз и поселил жить солнечном Узбекистане.Все население поселка активно ассимилировалось и взаимно скрещивалось. Постоянно что-то праздновали. Хиты сезона были, конечно же, свадьбы. греко-корейские, корейско-узбекские, узбеко-греческие, греко-русские, русско-узбекские и другие.

Выносили на улицы листы ДСП, ставили на строительные распорки-козлы, накрывали скатертями и начинали петь и плясать. Греки очень хорошие музыканты, веселые и неутомимые, могли играть много часов кряду и не уставали. Корейцы тихо и незаметно носили к столам на больших подносах свои ароматные блюда, узбекские повара колдовали над огромным казаном с пловом, греки всех угощали белыми кубиками сыра и пели веселые песни. И обязательно торжественно пили за компартии СССР, Греции и Северной Кореи, за их партийных лидеров и против НАТО.А моего отца, которого из-за статьи исключили из партии все утешали и говорили, что его обязательно восстановят. Мать качала головой и роняла "Ну-ну". Ей-то было ясно, что партия ее наивного мужа подставила, покрыв воровство предыдущего директора магазина. А отец с ней бесконечно спорил. он считал, что светлые идеи коммунизма извратили отдельные подонки.

Конечно, отца не восстановили в партии. Я закончил первый класс и тут с отца сняли все судимости и долги.

И мы как-то очень резко уехали жить в маленький военный городок летчиков-истребителей на границе Азербайджана и Ирана.

К этому времени у нас уже появилась еще одна сестренка, мы впятером ютились в деревянном ДОСе. ДОС - это Дом Офицерского состава, и в нашем городке не было улиц. Были ДОС №5 или №12. Мать работала официанткой в офицерской столовой, а отец на стройке жилого дома. И вот мать пришла к начальнику по тылу воинской части, татарину Хаджи-Гали. Это был огромный, веселый и добрый мужик с огромным носом формой баклажана. Он был очень представительным и от него всегда веяло искрящейся энергией. Он мне всегда напоминал лихого майского жука, от которого одно сияние и праздничное настроение.

Его все любили, уважали, шли за советом и звали Хаджи Хан. Все знали, если Хаджи Хан что-то пообещает- то это железно!

Хаджи -Гали нравилась наша семья, а еще я учился в одном классе с его младшей дочерью Эльвирой. Эльвира уселась со мной за одну парту и бессовестно списывала у меня. И хотя ее все время ловили, всем было ясно, что с Эльвиры как с гуся вода. По характеру она была точной копией своего отца - такая же жизнелюбка и уверенная в себе на все сто. Фигурой и манерами она была похожа на свою мать - Тетю Зою, самую шебутную и веселую офицерскую жену, а вот лицо и прическа - вылитая певица Земфира в начале своей карьеры. С такой же челкой, упрямыми губами и смелыми глазами.

Конечно же, мы дружили семьями. А еще взрослые решили, что мне надо обязательно жениться на Эльвире. Эльвира была не против, а я упрямо думал - фиг вам, я сам буду решать как мне жить и на ком жениться. Именно поэтому, я однажды ушел из дома с отарой овец. Решил, что буду лучше вольным пастухом, чем подчиняться дурным решениям. Пастухи накормили меня зажаренным голубем и положили спать в телеге. Посреди ночи на стоянку отары ворвался зеленый уазик, оттуда вылез усталый военный комендант и спросил, не видали ли они восьмилетнего пацана.Пастухи взглядом указали на меня, и так меня вернули в семью. Конечно, всыпали, но женить ближайшие лет пять больше не пытались.

Хаджи Хан каким-то образом выхлопотал для нас дом. Раньше это была казарма взвода связистов, потом их куда-то перевели, но в доме была очень важная комната - телефонный коммутатор. Он находился в небольшом бетонном отсеке посреди казармы с метровой толщины стенами и толстой железной дверью. Все в этом коммутаторе работало автоматически и бесшумно, но время от времени появлялись несколько связистов с телефонными трубками, они с трудом открывали дверь, забирались внутрь, перетыкали клеммы и штекера и что-то бубнили в свои черные трубки:

-бубу-шестнадцатый проверь плечо шесть тринадцать.

- пятый, не моя пара, бу-бу-бу, теперь все пучком...бу-бу-бу проверяю магистраль.

мы с восторгом слушали эти шпионские пароли и все норовили заглянуть в заветный "коммутатор". нам казалось, что это волшебная комната, в которой наверняка есть секретный подземный ход, ведущий в Москву.

Дом стоял на пустыре между военным городком и заброшенным стадионом, ровно посередине. Когда нам его передали –это было жалкое холодное зрелище - все рамы были раскурочены, дверей нет, окна выбиты и весь дом был ужасно загажен. Военком любезно выделил нам какое-то количество стройматериалов, Хаджи Хан подсуетился и добавил из своих складских НЗ цемент, песок. стекло ДСП.

Мы с отцом днем и ночью месили раствор, и таскали с ближайшего болотца воду, отец штукатурил и курил, я таскал воду и ворочал неподъемной лопатой песок с цементом.

Через месяц нам подключили воду и канализацию, связисты протянули провода и включили электричество и к новому учебному году мы переехали жить в новый дом.

Шел 1975 год, во Вьетнаме бушевала война, в школе на занятиях по политинформации мы клеймили американских захватчиков и собирали подписи под требованием, чтобы США вывели войска из братской страны.Я даже на общешкольной линейке вызвался поехать добровольцем в Сайгон, но наш директор отрезал,- Нет,друзья, вы нам здесь больше нужны!

А потом я вырос и в 45 лет снял первый короткометражный фильм.Нигде особо не учился, все изучал самостоятельно и в теории и на на практике, снимал несколько лет музыкальные клипы, репортажи и документальные фильмы, пока не решился на художественный фильм.
