We are writing this Parliament update off the back of #ASIC2019 - The Asgardian Science and Investment Conference - several members of Parliament were able to attend the conference and what a huge success it was. People came from all over the world to share in the common goal of solving some of the key problems of being a spacefaring people. The core was the question “How can a baby be safely born in space.” - A question posed by the Head of the Nation, Dr Igor Ashurbeyli, that ingeniously calls for a whole host of engineering, science and financial challenges to be addressed. The Minister of Science, Floris Wuyts and the Chairman of the Science Committee, Luca Sorriso-Valvo worked in concert to bring together people to tackle the problem. The fact that multiple disciplines and investors all came together allowed these problems to be discussed from a wide range of angles, shedding light on the problem and examining it from different viewpoints - but also allowing people from different fields to find networking opportunities and synergies. 3753 Cruithne was dubbed as Earth's second moon, but it's not true. It's an Aten asteroid, about 5 kilometers in diameter, that orbits the Sun in a bean-shaped orbit that effectively describes a horseshoe. Its period of revolution is approximately 364 days, because of this, Cruithne and Earth appear to ‘follow' each other in their paths around the Sun.
