Hello Universe!
I am a new citizen of Asgardia. I have not been able to pay my citizenship fee yet, but I am a resident of this future international space nation. That is why I want to comment on several aspects:
1- The citizenship fee: It seems excessive to me that there is a quota for the citizens of Asgardia. If we want so expensive because they are 100€, just for being a citizen. I think that making a better world requires that we change the concept of economics, for example, making a non-profit and exchange-based society would be a good option.
2- A nation must have democracy, the vote of the citizens for the decision-making of the Nation, it seems to me fundamental for all of us to give an opinion.
3- That the Nation, being an International Space Nation, focus on the development of new technologies and the scientific aspect on other aspects, seems to me a point to consider. That more be invested in the development of science and technology.
4- On the economic aspect that I mentioned earlier in point 1. I am aware that we live in a profit-based economy, those of us who live on Earth, and that we still depend on the resources of the Earth, therefore if we want to invest in The sustainable development of new technologies to establish ourselves in space, we still depend on money.
5- On the economic aspect that I mentioned earlier in point 1. I am aware that we live in a profit-based economy, those of us who live on Earth, and that we still depend on the resources of the Earth, therefore if we want to invest in The sustainable development of new technologies to establish ourselves in space, we still depend on money. Therefore, we must look for a way to develop new technologies and make scientific advances, without affecting the rest of citizens with excessive quotas. Lowering the citizenship fee a bit would be appropriate, or make it more affordable to other citizens.
6- Thinking about the payment of the citizenship fee, and in the sustainable development of the development of the Nation, I have thought that we can create different unions in which citizens can work and develop a sustainable nation based on their knowledge. For example, someone who knows about science can work as a scientist, someone who knows as an architect can develop housing models, someone who works as a chemist can study the composition of the soil, someone who works in public relations can establish the necessary connections with the different representative land figures such as ministers, presidents, land mayors to join the project. Also, there may be people who work in construction who can build the housing models proposed by the architects. Those who work as teachers can make schools to teach philosophy, life model, careers, to be able to learn everything necessary to allow the youngest and children to live in the Space Nation and transmit their knowledge from parents to children in a future.
And this would be with all the inhabitants of Asgardia, just as we do on Earth.
Obviously, each inhabitant would have to work to be a citizen, and with a minimum quota for the State, we could establish a balance between our current terrestrial life model and the life model of the new nation. Until the foundations of life are laid in the new nation of Asgardia.
These are some of my ideas and proposals for this new international space nation.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to participate in this project!
Regards!
