How likely is it that these events are links of one chain: The living planet suffocated from smoke in Australia, which is why it coughed in Turkey and started the process of getting rid of the annoying human resident (starting from China)? You say what a person has to do with fires in Australia? Sadly the fires in Australia have the immediate potential to be both a humanitarian crisis and an environmental catastrophe, coming as it does in the breeding season for the animals and birds there. My hopes are with all living things there, human and non-human, that they may come through this awful time.

After the events that are happening here in Australia I believe more then ever in what Asgardia is trying to achieve. We need to reach out from our planet before we suffer an incident we cannot recover from. The environment is changing and governments around the world are not doing enough to stop it/reverse the effects, they are becoming complacent and it won't be to far away before it is too late.

Fifteenth Anniversary of the Huygens Probe Landing January 14, 2020 marks the fifteenth anniversary of the European Space Agency’s (ESA/ASI/NASA) Huygens probe landing upon the surface of Titan, the largest satellite of the ringed planet Saturn. The Huygens probe landed on January 14, 2005 (12:43 UTC) near the Adiri region close to Titan’s equator (10.573°N, 192.335°W) just west of the large, dark region of Shangri-La. Titan is the largest satellite of the ringed planet Saturn and the second largest satellite in the solar system. At 5,150 kilometers (3,200 miles) in diameter it is slightly larger than the planet Mercury, 1.5 times the Moon’s diameter, and 40% the diameter of the Earth. Titan orbits Saturn at an average distance of 1,221,870 kilometers (759,397 miles) in a period of approximately 16 days (or 15 days 22 hours). Titan is tidally locked to Saturn which means that it always shows the same face to Saturn as it orbits it. It was discovered on March 25, 1655 by the Dutch astronomer Christiaan Huygens (1629-1695) who also described the true nature of the rings encircling Saturn in the same year. Titan has an extensive atmosphere, even larger than the Earth’s, composed primarily of nitrogen (N2, ~95%), methane (CH4, 1.4%), and hydrogen (H2, 0.2%) and other trace amounts of gas (carbon dioxide, cyanoacetylene, carbon monoxide, argon, and helium) and hydrocarbons (ethane, acetylene, propane). The surface pressure on Titan is approximately 1.5 times the Earth’s (146.7 kPa or 1.45 atm). The surface temperature of Titan is 94° Kelvin (-179.2°C or -285.1°F). It’s surface contains bright and dark terrain including dune fields over it’s equator and liquid methane/ethane lakes over the poles. The Huygens probe was developed by the European Space Agency (ESA), the Italian Space Agency (ASI), and NASA. It separated from the Cassini Orbiter on December 25, 2004 and landed upon Titan on January 14, 2005 near the Adiri region close to Titan’s equator. The surface at the landing site was described as “clay-like” with round pebbles of frozen water ice (rock like at the extreme temperature of the surface) HST appeared to be covered by methane (CH4). The surface of Titan receives approximately 1% the sunlight on the Earth (similar to twilight on Earth). NASA is planning to send a mobile robotic rotor craft named Dragonfly. Dragonfly will land upon the surface during the day and fly to different locations over the surface of Titan up to 8 kilometers (5 miles) at approximately 10 meters per second (36 km/h or 22 miles/hour) at an altitude up to 4 km (2.5 miles). Data by the rotor craft will be obtained during the day on Titan (8 Earth days) and recharge during the night (another 8 days). It is planned to land over the Shangri-La dune fields after a launch in 2026 and arrival at Titan in 2034.
