International Astronautical Congress (IAC) 2020
It was great to be in pole position to ask the first question on behalf of ROOM Space Journal of Asgardia at the Press Conference for the heads of all the major global space agencies at CyberSpace IAC 2020 this week. This year the annual event would have been held ...

A nice short post on cryptography applied to DLT. There's a new paper out to peer review that looks at how to build a highly efficient consensus mechanism that scales while increasing security. https://medium.com/catalystnetorg/cryptography-for-distributed-ledger-technologies-in-a-nutshell-dc25e4aa4eb7

A great article by Dr Pauline Bernat looking at how decentralised technology can solve some of the trust issues in today's economies. https://medium.com/catalystnetorg/how-decentralised-technology-can-help-restore-trust-in-our-economy-9b56a265be7a

Thanks for the article! I think cryptocurrency is the future even though lots of people tell the opposite. But seeing how many companies are working with it http://www.forex-broker-rating.com/instaforex makes me sure it's worth it.

Overcoming Earth’s doomsday scenario
If the increase in space debris in Earth orbit remains uncontrolled and unregulated, it will eventually render outer space useless for the whole of humanity - a sober warning from Prof Ram Jakhu in the Winter 2019/20 issue of ‘ROOM Space Journal of Asgardia’. In ‘Rule of law vital for ...

Hi fellow asgardians, i have recently been testing a method of creating bioplastic through use of waste cellulose (Plant material) i hope this will one day allow asgardians and other people to re-use their left over plant material to make biodegradable plastic objects either physically or by 3d printing .

It makes perfect sense for Asgardia to develop a cryptocurrency for its new economy, particularly considering how even central banks across the planet are looking towards cryptocurrency and blockchain more broadly to improve financial services. My concern is that not enough discussion is happening around what the Asgardia cryptocurrency should ...

It seems to me, based on what I've read of the SOLAR vs LUNAR, that it would be prudent to develop two separate currencies entirely. The SOLAR, intended as a currency to exchange between the various fiat currencies as elected in to the 'basket', would have very different needs than ...

Like the early pioneers, digital currency or fiat currency won't be the priority for those in deep space pushing back boundaries other than ensuring family back home and other commitments are paid. But a colony could quickly create their own digital currency as an exchange of value without any dependence ...
