I'd vote for you if you got rid of that ghastly apology for a beard. Trendsetter? That's not a trend I'd want spreading!

Big Small Problems

I am not your normal politician. I hate the way main stream politicians conduct themselves. I am a doer, realist, and fighter. I will leave the large strategic problems to the experts in the Trendsetters and Strategists. What's more important to me are the smaller things we have to ...

So, one of the main concerns facing Asgardia is actually getting people and cargo into orbit. We can't rely solely on other private spaceflight companies, as that would be too expensive. So, my feeling is that we're going to have to build and launch our own spacecraft.

This is a great idea, I think they should try to get investors while the story's hot too. Publicity in the mainstream UK press today.

I think space plains are the way to go

Should Asgardia set up it's own PGP Key server for private communications between members?

In Asgardia, may I ask how one would access governmental services. Would an Asgardian, be required to enter an embassy or consulate to access Asgardian Governmental services or could one use a web-portal like Estonian Governmental Web Portal to access governmental services like ID card renewal ...

Pretty sure we will not want to be like Italy! :-D

If Asgardia is to be a mainly digital Community for the foreseeable future, then should it not be a requirement to perform regular backups of the forum and websites. Also to further support any future digital infrastructure that the nation may come to rely on, I propose Asgardia uses its ...

Orbit would be better IMHO. Harder to physically gain access. The backup strategy/policies in place have been specifically requested, but for some reason - quite likely the security policy from the 1970's - this has not been divulged. After demonstrating there's no thought placed into the initial storage of the ...

How should Asgardians legalize agreements or contracts. Should Asgardia use written signature; digital signature; seals? If we are to be an inclusive society and nation, we should allow for citizens of different cultures legally recognize documents (such as contracts; marriages etc.) in an appropriate manner. In Mainland China (Peoples' Republic ...

The specification listed wasn't "unbreakable" (though I wager some will take that long it's sufficient to be treated as. Especially layered.) but "more secure" than a simple seal in a wax or similar. An RFID or similar chip on it's own is increadibly easily spoofable, and here's where the cryptography ...

There are no real unbreakable codes, or cyphers, or cryptographies. For the common person, a combination of something physical, and something mental, should suffice. A RF chip with a password, or symbol, or numeric combination, or some combination should be sufficient. If it is tile-based, a symbolic password would be ...

Should Asgardia teach religious education and if so how should it be taught. Should it be taught at home; comparitavily; not at all?
Jun 18, 17 / Leo 01, 01 13:42 UTC

As it already been said here - there should be religion theory. It is important to know what religion is, where it came from, what kind of religions there are and what are the consequences, but not making it the center of your life if you're willing to move ...

I think theology should be taught, the history and characteristics of various religions

Jun 15, 17 / Can 26, 01 00:14 UTC

Teaching that religions exists, or have existed. Obscurantism is worse than everything.
Teaching that we already wasted too much time with this.
Teaching than we finally have much more interresting things to do for Asgardia

I find merits in your argument, but I also find myself thinking to myself, "Go big, or go home." The vast majority of the technology used to survive in space is already well-tested and publicly available. It isn't cheap, but it is available. Who would our 'customers' be? It isn't ...
