I would like to help build this nation, with 2 years in finance and charitable works.

I believe we can achieve what humanity has failed to produce, which is a unification of our species, an evolution of our thinking, of our rules, of our existence as one.

I’ve been wondering for so long what role theatre, music and other forms of art serve in understanding the spatial structure around us known as space; how we could develop such an understanding into something more useful for the improvement of our nation...

Then, it hit me. If Asgardia aims to have one spoken language in due time, what better way then to use the arts to explore languages and forms of communication?! Can the medium of topography break down barriers of language for example, so that we may communicate in silence? Hit me up with suggestions as I’m wanting to contribute to this global community

On the 25th of June 2018, along with the newly elected Members of Parliament, I had the privilege to be part of the historic moment when Asgardia’s first Head of Nation, Dr Igor Ashurbeyli, stated at his inauguration ceremony at the Hofburg Palace in Vienna that "Access to outer space should be a human right, beyond the control of any Earthly nation!"

Until today, the Outer Space Treaty that underpins international space law stated that responsibility and liability for objects sent into space lies with the nation that launched them. But the geopolitical landscape of space activity has changed since the Outer Space Treaty was drawn up in the 1960s and as from today, Asgardia is ready to set a new precedent, shifting responsibility to the “space nation” itself.

As Dr Ashurbeyli said, “the existing state agencies represent interests of their own countries and there are not so many countries in the world that have those space agencies." Therefore, it is essential for that to change. And this is where Asgardia comes to revolutionise the way people around the globe are doing politics by setting an example and bringing to life the vision of its Head of Nation, Dr Igor Ashurbeyli, who states: “The ultimate aim is to create a legal platform to ensure protection of planet Earth and to provide access to space technologies for those who do not have that access at the moment.”

Lembit Opik speaking in the British Parliament in 2009. Lembit was a Member of Parliament in the United Kingdom for 13 years. He led the campaign for action on the threat of Near Earth Objects. He has worked internationally on this campaign, and has collaborated with Apollo 9 astronaut Rusty Schweickart - and with the Spaceguard organisation, which shares the same concerns as Asgardia regarding the NEO threat.

Hello Asgardians. I'm surprised with the lack of communication here, so I thought I'd start a conversation by saying hello and introducing myself.

I'm Matthew, I live near Oxford, England. I work at the University of Oxford as a Research Software Engineer (aka "Code Monkey"!).

I'd like to see this Asgardia experiment have a positive attitude on how we perceive our fellow humans wherever they may live.

What do you do? And why are you here?

I've offer my candidacy for parliament on a generic platform designed to find the best of what it means to be human and to work to improve the lot of the human race in the future, sustainably and humanly. Now is the time in life to give back and be courageous, to use skills acquired in business and technology to address the injustices of many people on earth, create optimism for the future and purpose in peoples lives. Technology and resources are the key, used in the right way, to free humanity from, suffering, scarcity and drudgery. Humanity must expend it's horizons and ambitions for the future to honour all intelligence and contribute to the creation of a better universe for all sentient beings. Strive to be better.

I just wanted to share a thought with all my fellow Asgardians.

Equality.

On Asgardia there should be social, political and economic equality of the sexes.

It is so hard to achieve it here because no one is used to it, but if we could built a place where male and female are treated the same way, it is going to be something normal for everyone.

No more fights, no moro protests, we can all just live peacefully together.

I also think that being gay, lesbian, transgender etc. should be seen as a normal thing, it is again something hard to achieve here but new nation, new rules.

Everyone should be able to be who she/he wants to be and not be afraid to show it.

Ingredients:

One egg every 100g of flour

1/2 spoon of salt every 400g of flour

1 spoon of EVO every 400g of flour

25% of your flour has to be semolina and the rest 75% double zero.

Method:

Make a fountain with the flour after you sieved it, open a whole in the Center of the fountain and brake the eggs on it, add the salt and the oil and help yourself to brake the yolks with a fork.

Using your hands start to knead creating an homogeneous dough.

Roll it on a cling film making sure all the air is out and leave it to rest in the fridge for 20 minuts.

After the resting you will be able to work your dough and give it the pasta shape you love.
