Asgardia should be a place where we create a new democracy  that works for all citizens, therefore we should be looking at how this  can be achieved. There is no point in creating a Space Kingdom if we are  going to bring with us 20th Century solutions to 21st Century problems.  For example excessive bureaucracy and political bias.

On  this basis Asgardia should have an independently run Department of  Education that makes decisions based on the experiences of educational  professionals, students, other stake-holders including parents and  scientifically proven data rather than political whim.

The  department would be overseen by parliament who scrutinize funding, but  ultimately policy decisions should come from the Department its-self.

I  also propose as a standard, all forms of Asgardias educational policy  & delivery to be free and available to all citizens, rather than  being exposed to market forces/economics.

To  create the best education system possible we should look at the best  systems we have on earth (Finland, Singapore for example) and adapt them  to align with Asgardias mission statement.

As such I suggest the following structure;-

Department  of Education - Independent from, but funded by central government. With  anti-corruption safeguards in place from the start. For example, an  over-arching anti-corruption council that scrutinizes all government  departments.

This would include the departments;

-  Early Years (Pre-school based on language skill and  understanding/interacting with the world around them - in fun and  interesting ways!)

- Childhood (Focus on developing the  skills necessary to become humane citizens of Asgardia - emotional  intelligence, citizenship, outdoor learning, introductions to Maths and  Science as well as other core curriculum ideologies, project based and  rooted in enjoyment)

- Adolescence (Research based, more  specific giving learners the choice to specialize in other areas of  interest, introduction to testing models, critical thinking and  scientific in nature)

- Adult & Lifelong (More formal  but still fun and interactive, specific to specialist, including  apprenticeships, scholarships and other work-based learning & CPD)

Teachers  should be specialists in the delivery of the curriculum. The latest  advances in technology, learning environment design and Pegagological  understanding should applied through CPD and Critical Analysis.

Given  Asgardias very specific nature, we should also vote to include an  'Asgardia Curriculum', one which incorporates the best humanity has to  offer with the goals of the Asgardian Kingdom in Space. This needs to be  dynamic and under constant review to keep it relevant to learners needs  and our mission statement.

This  curriculum would be put together by the different strands that make up  the department of Education and would match the needs of each  learning-phase.

Why should we be limited as a nation to a certain subset of people holding power? A vote for me will be a vote for full equality for all Asgardians, regardless of age, race, sex, gender, language or social status. We are one people, and we should remember that as we move forward to a future in which we will live together as a united nation. Vote for me and I will do everything in my power to ensure 100% equality for all Asgardians.

I'm always striving for more. That doesn't mean I'm not happy with what I've already got. It doesn't mean I'm ungrateful. I love my life and my family but I'm constantly striving for more. I think the day you stop reaching for new goals is the day you become dead inside. If you have no dreams, make some. Asgardia is a dream, a concept for now but look where it could go! It may never happen in my lifetime but let's not stop trying.

So many ancient writings and artifacts depict the gods coming from above us, creating us in their own image and manipulating the DNA of Earth-based lifeforms. Should we endeavor to delve deeper into these thoughts and search for our non-Terran 'ancestors' or remain as we are with only the texts written by man himself and forever wonder about "What if?!"

... And I think all names should be that cute in space!

Health and Education are essential parts of a society and I hope they can be approached with deep conscientiousness and without old-world stereotypes. Mental and Physical health, for example, should both be taken into equally careful consideration. Education should also be a top priority, and not just the essential sciences, top languages of Asgardia and culture taught, but also creative arts, self-expression and healthy ways to communicate with others, and yourself.

Together we must stand up to a world filled with citizens who think it's okay to go to war with one another, that it is natural to build borders between one another, to cause rifts where none should exist in the first place. Together, as Asgardians, we can build a nation of equality, a world beyond the physical lands and borders that cause petty quarrels amongst the greedy, the cruel, and the twisted minds of the past. Humanity has a bright future amongst the stars, not the wreckage of a world ravaged by self-destruction. We must both figuratively and literally... rise up. Rise up. Rise up.
What would you say to a talking dog, angry at a dog for having different coloured fur?
What do you tell a child that is poor when they beg you for a chance at survival?
What will they do when the oil runs out, when the gold runs out, when the world runs out of blood to spare?
Rise up with Asgardia. Free yourself of these chains and be proud of your species, make your species proud. We're human beings, all of us; together - and only together - can we rise above it all.

Can we start something to screw with the flat Earthers. Something new, something we can point to in the future and say "I was there. I helped start that rumour!"

It has to be way out there but sound plausible and backed up with some authentic pseudoscience.
