Over a million followers! Under two thousand members! Well, hats off to all my fellow members, but I'm beginning to feel like Diogenes wandering around with his candle. I've even been asked to stand for mayor locally, though everyone nearby seems to be a follower rather than a member, so ...

As someone who firmly believes Asgardia to truly be the future of all humanity’s spacefaring efforts, I intend to support both Asgardia and it’s leader in all their endeavors. Godspeed Igor!

Year day, new year, old year day - whatever you want to call it, this is a time for both endings and new beginnings. And along that theme, I have an announcement to make about my position in Asgardia. With effect from the 31st of December, my contract with Asgardia ...

Wishing you much success in your future plans and thank you for your hard work to date for the future of Asgardia.

I live in a country where its citizens have just voted for an illusory and ill-remembered past. It might once have been an Empire, but so were many other countries, once upon a time, each built by exploitation, subjugation and deceit. Today, among the loud donkey-braying of those who honestly ...

Well, in literal terms, we've just missed an opportunity to do so: I was in Salisbury just last month! But other opportunities may arise in your area when I am close-by. This is the report on the Asgardian meetup that took place the day after my Salisbury jaunt in London ...

Due mainly to illness, I was introduced late to tai chi by a lifelong friend, who these days I regard as my sensei. I have a regular time first thing where I do lohan patting, then my tai chi, then qi gong eight brocades. It has centred me, made me ...

Es importante lo espiritual, en asgardia ,algo que no se tiene en cuenta en este mundo ,ni en la medicina ,ni en las escuelas,así como también la meditación y la erboristeria...

Thank you for posting that information! It's great to hear about different approaches to fitness.

I just found out about this ridiculous Outer Space Treaty of 1967. Sad.

I'm actually really happy you asked! I used to live next door to a few companies that are setting up the asteroid mining business. I applied to all sorts of jobs I knew I couldn't get, just so I'd have an hour to talk with the engineers. The really short ...

Definitely Article II, I think most Asgardians would be happy with Article IV. Then again, some might disagree. What is your opinion on Article II? Can we work around it?
Nov 5, 19 / Sag 01, 03 20:00 UTC
I'm confused. Are you sad about the part where 105 (+/-26) countries have agreed to not host weapons of mass destruction in outer space? (Article IV) Or the part where all signed countries agree not to claim any celestial body as a national resource? (Article II) All 17 of the ...

The Asgardian calendar is available at :

This is an excellent piece of work, the site and it's interactive presentation of the Calendar is excellent. Given this success, the question must be asked. Is this the final version or can we ...

Without trying to sound sycophantic, or making this all about me, I wanted to speak a little about Dr. Igor Ashurbeyli today as he celebrates his birthday. Way back when Asgardia launched I was looking for a change. Something to shake up my life, something to shake up the drab ...

Any news on a VR platform since then? :) Any plans that came out of it? Did you discuss any budget plans with him or how we can find any other ways of building a fund for this purpose? Might it be possible to have some kind of internal Asgardia ...

Hi fellow asgardians, i have recently been testing a method of creating bioplastic through use of waste cellulose (Plant material) i hope this will one day allow asgardians and other people to re-use their left over plant material to make biodegradable plastic objects either physically or by 3d printing .

It makes perfect sense for Asgardia to develop a cryptocurrency for its new economy, particularly considering how even central banks across the planet are looking towards cryptocurrency and blockchain more broadly to improve financial services. My concern is that not enough discussion is happening around what the Asgardia cryptocurrency should ...

It seems to me, based on what I've read of the SOLAR vs LUNAR, that it would be prudent to develop two separate currencies entirely. The SOLAR, intended as a currency to exchange between the various fiat currencies as elected in to the 'basket', would have very different needs than ...

Like the early pioneers, digital currency or fiat currency won't be the priority for those in deep space pushing back boundaries other than ensuring family back home and other commitments are paid. But a colony could quickly create their own digital currency as an exchange of value without any dependence ...
