I was first introduced to the BOINC Project by my professor of Biology in the year 2005, at the University of British Columbia, where I attended on the Millenium Scholarship. That might have been the moment when I realized something about the potential of network-centric computing. Since then, I've ...

Very well said John, I've been perusing the boards and even catch myself thinking decades ahead. Disclaimer: I assume, in this, a few things. These are: 1) A healthy person will seek things that benefit them and if they benefit the group, so much the better. This key assumption underlies all existing understanding of cooperation, competition and conflict. It's very bad news if it's wrong, so ...

Define crime as mental illness from first principles and you must defend why people who are not engaging in criminal activity but have a measurable mental illness should not be incarcerated by default. There are elements of pseudoscience here, such as the warrior gene reference. ...

Aug 2, 17 / Vir 18, 01 14:12 UTC

You cannot decide wich religion should be the appropriate in Asgardia, because all other people will not agree. So, let all religions be possible to worship as long as it do not interfere with the project.
