What is the most important question of all?

If you was given an opportunity to ask one question and you was guaranteed the correct answer, what would that question be?

I am just a 22 year old man who lives in the united kingdom, living the same life everyone leads, waking up and doing the same things as everyone else, forcing myself to do a job which provides a false sense of progress in life just so I can survive? Why has life become so complicated to the point where nature and space has become a novelty rather than our future.....

I personally cannot grip the idea of living the simple life and not caring about our future as a species, as a people we should want nothing more than to move forward, to go somewhere and to truly live up to our potential, as a species we have progressed at a exponential rate in which most people are not even aware of, there is technology out there that has the potential to do more than most of us can even comprehend, yet we still all strive for the same boring lifestyle, are you still striving to buy that fresh washing machine from your local store because your materialized clothes are not quite clean enough? or does your toaster not toast your bread at the consistency you wanted? Life is so much bigger than our petty day to day issues.

This is precisely why I will be putting myself forward as a leader for Asgardia , I want us as a species to explore and expand, to see what this universe.. truly has to show us.

I could sit here all day and talk about myself and why I am a perfect leader for Asgardia but I wont be doing that, I am not choosing to put myself forward because I want to be above anyone or because I am superior in anyway, far from it.

The whole idea of a government is one of the many reasons our planet is in such turmoil at the moment, Corrupted and selfish individuals who are provided power and money to do things they shouldn't at what expense????????? At YOUR expense.

This planet is consumed by greed and the desire to have it all  but when will said people stop for a second, and realize that the one thing that their missing out on , the one thing that they probably want is likely not on earth, we are part of a giant cosmos of different planets and realities, a universe of creatures untold and undiscovered, One of the biggest examples being objects like diamonds, We treasure diamonds, they are worth more than most can afford yet there is likely a species of people out there, whom live on a planet which is full of diamonds and to them, they re most precious material could be something absurd like copper? Could you imagine a species of people wearing copper rings because its so hard to come by, or a copper necklace because they're other half bought it for they're alien birthday?

Earth has been corrupted by us, and it is only us who can change that and that's exactly what I strive to do.

I have so many questions and so little answers, as a species, we are clueless and are not much closer to a future in space than we was 50 years ago. Although it will go against a lot of peoples beliefs and I do not intend to go out my way to offend anyone, But in my opinion religion has been a very big mental block for our species for a very very long time and it still is to this day.... the same question goes out to all the religious people who view this page, now I really could not care less about whats said on the bible or the Quran , some people may take offense to that, I don't mean to cause any offense, take it how you like.

Let me ask you one question, If your god or gods created our universe, who exactly created your gods, another god? and then another god after that? or did they simply just exist and if that's the case, how do they simply just exist?

I have nothing against religion personally but it is nothing but false hope and a false sense of appreciation, there is nobody looking down on you and making your choices for you, you are in full control of your future and your actions, I can tell you now for sure that it was not a god that told me to make this post, it was me.

And if you are going to take offense to that and argue back in the comments, let me ask you one thing and this can be said about a hell of lot of things, if your god is so great, and deserves peoples loyalty and dedication, do you think its fair that , that same god allowed for over 60 million people to be killed in world war 2? how about the millions of people who die in year of unnatural causes?

Our universe is bound by its own laws and rules, of which can be bent and changed and controlled with the right knowledge, there is no god, the closest thing to a god is a superior species which are thousand of years ahead in technology.

I am starting to go off course but there is so much to be spoken about and so much to be done.

Whether your black, white, blue or grey I don't care where your from, what your past was like or what you look like, I care about our future as a species, and you should to, we could be amazing, we could be powerful , our planets priorities are completely wrong and its our responsibility to now take control of our future and change things once and for all.

You are an Asgardian, You are Unique and your own person, and most importantly, you are human and that should be known to the whole universe , not just your local town.

Thank you for taking time to read through my little post , I just our species to be part of what is real, the bigger picture is still untouched and unseen but we can get there, and we will get there, that's not a promise, that is a guarantee but to do that, I need your help... scrap that, the whole planet needs your help.

I have only just joined Asgardia and have been wondering what sort of thing to send on the 1st Asgardia satellite. I don't usually blog as I don't really have time do I am hoping you guys can help me decide. Should I send a photograph, I have many cute ones of my dog (a shih tzu called Max)? Maybe some personal information about me and my life, favourite bands and songs, movies/ TV I like perhaps. There isn't much space so I am erring towards data rather than a picture.

I am excited to be part of something potentially as big as Asgardia. I have always enjoyed Sci fi and have recently started following more actual space stuff on FB. The sizes and distances are amazing and to be part of something like this I very cool. I have been busy voting on the flag, anthem etc and had a quick look at some of the candidates for the government,  which is all very exciting. When I get time I will spend some of it reading others blogs. Hoping to get to know you guys,  my fellow Asgardians, better. Bye for now

It's an interesting question! And what do you think the answer is? It's amazing at what data can tell us, especially when raw open data is visualised. In this example, the date and time of births are analysed and is presented in a way that it can be easily understood. Without the help of visualised data, looking at thousands or tens of thousands (maybe millions) rows of raw data, important information and understanding the data as a whole can be lost. We have the skills, the technology and the time to incorporate open data into the Asgardian decision making process.

When data is visualised, we get to see a clear picture very quickly! This visualisation shows the life expectancy (LE) around the world and immediately, you can see which countries have a low LE. But how does this help us? How can this be used in Asgardia? When Asgardia uses open data, we can quickly identify and highlight opportunities and gaps in our society. Through the strategic use of open data, we can make informed decisions.

Based on this example, the allocations are resources (whether technological, equipment, medicine, doctors) or the upgrading of existing facilities, our collective effort as a society can help raise the LE of low LE areas. By using open data in a transparent way, we can increase the level of living for all!
