May I suggest the following: 1. A4 is adopted by all Ministries as the standard size for paper 2. That all ministries adopt SI units as the standard System of measurement 3. That for purposes of approximation units of of 0.0254M, 0.4535Kg, 0.5682L shall be regarded as sufficient and that these approximate units shall be known colloquially as inches, pounds and pints. 4. That Thursday to all be designated as the Holy Sabbath for the disciples of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, and be accepted as a good day to stick-out your thumb and go Hitch-hiking. 5. That BLUE be designated as the official bag colour for salt-and-vinegar flavoured crisps

Hi everyone! Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas! Just a thought that I had while talking to my friend about Christmas. As she is a Christian she celebrates the birth of Jesus and that's a symbolic event in the religious calendar. Many people who are not Christian also celebrate the Christmas holiday as a way of giving presents and spending time with family. I was thinking as Asgardia isn't one religion, or impartial to religious beliefs, would Christmas be classed as a holiday as it is symbolic to the Christian calendar, or as it is now more widely celebrated it would be incorporated into what we would celebrate also? This would also lead to me questioning traditions such as thanksgiving, we do not celebrate that in the UK but almost everyone in the US does celebrate (although it is not a religious holiday, many people say thanks and give back). What are your thoughts on holiday celebrations, different countries which celebrate different events and religious holidays? :) Have a great day!

hi asgardians, welcome all. i have to admit i am not very keen on this new format, what do you think? i find it is very hard to navigate and to understand, and there doesnt seem to be much explination of how to control your way around. its a cool looking site with amazing people here, but i found the facebook format, a lot more user friendly. i suppose with it being so new that the admin (who are working so hard) havent worked out all the kinks yet so i will be patient, ;)

hi folks im jim from england uk. i am 37 male (obviously. lol) and i am toataly honoured to be an asgardian. over the past few days i have found myself getting more and more involved in the talks and i have to say, there are some absoloutly amazing people here. we all come from different walks of life. some of us have had good experienses and some have not. and that makes this venture very interesting. i have seen many different ideas about asgardias future and there are some amazing concepts. every single ashardian is a unique indiviual. and there is so much diversity here. i will say only this... from my own personal experiances of asgardia. i am humbled by the hearts and minds of you all. and a great big welcome to you all. i really do feel that this is the start of a amazing adventure into the unknown. and a massive thank you for letting me be a part of it. the folks in admin and oficials have worked super hard to make this happen. and we all must respect this. i wish you all the best in your venture and may your dreams of a bright future with asgardia come true. love to you all. ;)
