I look forward to learning more about Asgardia and watching our newest nation grow.  No civilization is perfect and none will ever reflect all my personal views but my reading to date suggests that Asgardia comes very close.  Ultimately I believe in personal responsibility as a guiding principle and employ a general model of meritocracy in my approach to individuals and corporations with whom I interact.  I believe that most people are good at heart and deserve an assumption of trust until that trust is broken.  I don't believe in true altruism as I feel all our actions are ultimately driven by a sense of personal gain, though that gain can be ethereal and often perceived only by the actor.  That said I am an advocate of effecting altruistic acts such as helping our fellow man and contributing to the greater good.  As such I make my skills and resources available to the society of Asgardia to the degree I can afford to give them.  I hope and pray that the future of Asgardia tracks with the foundational tenants and constitution and that it is not perverted by greed, sloth or apathy as have been so many great nations in history.  Let us all look to the future and contribute as we can to grow something collaborative and sustainable upon which we can all rise together.

I have to say that I'm pretty excited about Asgardia and the idea of a nation based in space. When we look at emerging technologies such as block-chain (crypto-currencies), virtualization, communication, miniaturization and more together with the ever decreasing costs of putting things in space, this was bound to happen. Why not? And the possibilities are incredible. Looking forward to both watching and being involved in making this something great for all people.

My name is Levi, and I am one of many that make up our new nation. I am reaching out to you to announce my candidacy for Ambassador of Asgardia. While we have made large strides in progress towards becoming recognized as an independant nation, I fear for the future of Asgardia because of the manner in which the constitution was written and how our laws are being produced. The only way I saw that I could help to steer our amazing new nation in the right direction was to put myself in front of all of you and ask you to trust someone you do not know to listen to your concerns and fight your battles for you. Someone needs to ask the questions that need answering and to provide those answers to you in a timely and efficient manner.

This is one of my favorite pictures from voyager when Carl Sagan suggested to turned it around to take a picture of earth from behind Saturn and we are just a tiny blue dot. It brings the realization of just how small we truly are in the universe and makes you realize how small your ideals, problems, communities, people, and everything is. The universe is much larger than anything and is the final frontier to discover. As an Asgardian, I feel that in some way I have reached beyond the blue dot to visualize something just a bit bigger, perhaps someday the human race will look back and see that this was the start of something much larger than the blue dot we started from. To growth and prosperity of the human race, may we explore and move beyond our solar system.

I believe in individuality as the the primary defense to greed and evil. I am a proponent of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Singularity. I am a highly intelligent person. I hold Doctorate level degree in jurisprudence. I have a wide understanding in academics, business, social, and military structures. My ambition is to support technological advances for the human species to propugate space and universes. I am a firm believer that each one of us can reach an immortality stage in a realm that is custom made to our liking and malleable.

The human immortality stage is going to be made possible by electing leaders of Asgardia that are cognizant of the current barriers, blockades, and resistance that promotes evil and greedy agendas on Earth that - shuns change.

太空王国阿斯伽迪亚（Asgardia）已宣布发射首颗卫星，这是它成为首个绕地太空国家的重要一步。

阿斯伽迪亚之名源于北欧神话中的天空之城。其创始人希望建立一个和平的太空国度，用于勘探小行星以及保护地球免遭陨石、太空垃圾等威胁。阿斯伽迪亚于2016年10月宣告成立，随后数十万人申请入籍。

验证程序中一项内容是，申请入籍者在6月18日前必须就初步制定的新宪法投“赞成”票（或者弃权）。按要求投票的申请人将获准在今年夏天阿斯伽迪亚1号发射前上传数据。

克里夫兰马歇尔法学院的太空法教授马克·松达尔（Mark Sundahl）接受Motherboard的采访时表示，宪法将授权阿斯伽迪亚“自行制定法律以保护国民免遭会泄露银行信息的传唤。”如果该宪法经表决通过，阿斯伽迪亚“将成为一个流氓银行国家。”简而言之，阿斯伽迪亚公民将建立一个“太空海盗国”。

然而，不管建设多大规模或者何种类型的可定居式空间站，其成本都极高。例如，规模如足球场大小的国际空间站由18个国家承建，耗资约千亿美元。而且，目前成本最低的飞行器是SpaceX公司的猎鹰9号火箭，其单次发射成本约为4300万至6500万美元。

阿斯伽迪亚发言人蒂莫西·怀尔德（Timothy Wild）此前接受《商业内幕》采访时表示不会公开阿斯伽迪亚的资金计划和规模，但他表示阿尔舒贝利已经拿出大笔资金（资金来源于他开办的国际航天探究中心）支持该项目。

雅库和阿斯伽迪亚的筹建人已招致多方批评，人们将该项目比作草草收场的火星一号项目——该项目计划将宇航员送入“红色星球”（许多调查表明该项目缺少资金、人力、专业知识保障）。但是，雅库和怀尔德指出，在地球上空数百英里处建立首个太空国家与在火星上定居不是一回事。

雅库此前说：“标新立异的人起初难免被嘲笑，而惊人的壮举往往始于疯狂的想法。用不了多久，科幻小说就会变成科学现实，而阿斯伽迪亚项目仅仅是个开始。”

Currently I'm 27 years old, and live in Abbotsford BC. I teach Meditation and am a Sifu of Yang style Tai Chi. I teach at Two Dragons, which is located in downtown Abbotsford, and have been with this school for about 8 years now. This is my passion, this is what I love. And what I love most about it, is that mindfulness teaches us to see the world as it is.

Anyone with the eyes to see it will notice that he world is changing in ways that we cannot undo. Our Human civilization has made some grave mistakes that will impact us for some time to come. However, we possess the capacity to unite ourselves and to actively choose to make a difference. Even if in the grand scheme of things our choices may not impact us so much, they will most certainly impact those we sire.

Should we choose to unite, and make a difference by applying our knowledge and wisdom. I am sure we can innovate new ways to improve and better this world. Perhaps even undo some of our careless past.

I have no expectations to be elected in anyway, but would love to contribute my insight, and apply my practice of Tai Chi and Meditation.

I am Karel L.B. Van Cutsem (KVC) aka Charles.

A Belgian magician/graphic designer that moved to Canada and traveled all over the Earth.

After traveling and experiencing wonderful moments with lots of different people I decided to settle down for a while in the 2nd biggest country on Earth, Canada.

Whilst I am working I decided to put myself to the challenge of becoming a great magician in Canada and to become a trendsetter in our Asgardian Culture, note that I write Culture with a capitol c because that is what we are, a great Culture, a great Nation!

I come from a small town in Belgium called Opwijk, 20 km from The European capitol Brussels, where the grass is green, the beer is always flowing and smiles are a currency. Everybody knows everybody, something that is not uncommon in a small town. I come from a big family, 2 older sisters and a younger sister and brother. We are always ready to help oneanother and help whenever possible. Life is very easy in this little town as are the people. But I decided to see more of the world for this little town became to small for me.

Then suddenly you meet someone who makes see things from a different perspective.

She is also from the same small town but her parents decided to move to Canada when she was 8.

And so by coincidence, on December 31st 2015, I met the person who changed my perspective on the world. We started talking and dancing and didn't stop until the sunrise. Love, what a wonderful thing.

I decided to work hard and play hard, that is how I was able to travel with my beautiful partner all over the world and experienced great moments that I can cherish as wonderful memories forever, at least until the day I die. What a great way of living and learning when you jump into the unknown.

I strive to be a great Asgardian and a great Asgardian trendsetter as a magician/graphic designer.

This will be a challenge, but what is life without challenges. It would be a very boring experience.
