As Asgardia is still relatively new and flourishing with ideas and citizens willing to help and further our cause I have noticed a few similar topics that seem to keep coming up. I just want to note that on October 14, 2016 the first one-hundred thousand Asgaridans were registered. I noticed a twitter post acknowledging Asgardia so I decided to check it out, and applied for citizenship myself and have been a part of this ever since that day. None the less this means that as of today Asgardia is roughly three months old or has at least been open to the public for this long. I am currently attending college/university and am majoring in Biology. Just a General question I would like to ask I suppose is how many Asgardians are actually educated or are in the process of being educated or plan on becoming educated. I.E. higher than a High School diploma. I hope nobody takes offence to this, as I know our nation is still very new, but I cant help but wonder. I may not be in the right place to make assumptions but if our purpose is send or eventual future relatives into space (It would not be impossible for us to travel and create this in our lifetimes, but it is extremely unlikely and would most likely cost a vast amount of money in the process and would also require a huge advancement in certain technological and space exploration aspects) it only makes sense to me that people who have an education would be the ones to actually further the cause? Now don't get me wrong, i'm not trying to put anyone down or anything but it is just something that I keep wondering about and want to know others inputs. As I previously stated we are barely three months old in our endeavor so there is still plenty of time and room to grow and mature into a nation that we can admire and accomplish great things with, including sending our relatives to space (one of the first things I continually notice is people asking when we will be going to space). No, we will not be going to space, most likely at least, unless you are a multi-billionaire willing to invest all of his/her time and money into this. I also keep seeing topics on a "New Asgardian Language," which yes, doesn't seem like a bad idea. But in my opinion, it is not something we should be focusing on right now. we aren't an official nation or even have our certificates yet. also "language" itself is something that has been developed and honed over the course of thousands, if not millions of years. We could have linguists from all over the world collaborate and focus on creating a new language and I still don't believe it will just happen. A lot of languages when translated into or from others don't have "exact" interpretations or meanings for some words of the opposite language that it is being translated from or into. A Multi-lingual society would be best in my opinion with everyone knowing at least two or more languages. The last thing I keep seeing is people getting upset that Igor is stepping in as the "temporary," leader of our community. Sure everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but this rolls into my first question of education. As far as I am concerned, Dr. Ashurbeyli is more than capable and qualified to become the temporary head of state until the first elections take place. And even then he could still be voted in as our leader. In my opinion at least. So far I am loving being a part of this and wish to see it go to great places and have all of us go down into history as becoming the first Asgardians.
