I was thinking that we could do some kind of collaborative work on the Flag Design, offer elements rather than whole designs. Hard to get a good consensus on a design work by a single artist. I sort of like the concept work done by Alec Bartos (Romania) - including the Golden Ratio Spiral design on the flag in some way seems like a good idea to me, but his designs didn't seem be getting much thumbs ups. There are so many good design offerings in the contest, but only one individual's design can work, as the contest is being run. Since Asgardia represents the spirit of collaborative effort from all citizens, it might be a good idea to make the flag design a presentation of how we can work together to a common goal.

Greatest Secret ever told, we are collectively the intelligent designer behind the creation of Life on Planet Earth! Believe it or not, you have an actual connection to that event in the distant past. Think not of thyself as a Nationality, or a racial division of Earthling. Think thyself a citizen of the Universe and a singular expression of the Intelligence thereof. A unique spark of experiential consciousness but still part of a greater whole. But ask yourself, what is this thing that gives rise to the Spark? Is it a function of the body/brain really, ok then show me how the body/brain interacts with the zero-point-energy of the quantum world. Is consciousness the result of a fundamental particle in creation, if it is might it be expressed as a field? Clearly that spark of consciousness is a feature of our reality, if it is a feature that interacts with all matter then it should be found everywhere. Of course we see no evidence of things such as self-directed willpower in inanimate objects, but must we observe that as proof of consciousness? In the absence of any device that can measure and quantify the quality of consciousness directly, it would seem that the answer is yes. The only evidence that we have is personal experience and the observation of Life here on Earth. I will express the idea here that, Intelligence and Consciousness may in fact be features of all material objects, no matter how well or poorly formed. Be they chemically active bodies or chemically inert, the potential to express consciousness an intrinsic aspect of our reality. If we never would expect to find empirical evidence that the Universe has this feature, we will probably never look for it. However, if my theory is correct, it may reveal itself to Humanity in surprising ways. The real interesting question, if it's out there, can the individual human mind communicate with it. What capabilities might a conscious self-willed singularity possess? I believe that such concepts have at least been expressed in works of fiction by other thinkers, and I am not alone in pondering the possibility of revealing Proof of Concept. I have worked on possibility in various forms the most part of my adult life, and I had a direct personal experience at the age of 19, in 1982, which lends credence to the idea that our Universe may be governed by a benevolent higher-power with an interest in our development as a species. Of course if I gave a detailed description of events that I witnessed, perhaps it may easily be discounted as a figment of the mind or hallucination. Sill, I've never failed to trust this personal experience myself. So how does this concept affect the founding and development of Asgardia Space Nation? If it can not be proven, then of course the affect will be nothing. If it proves viable as a technological innovation or insightful in our understanding of the reality that we find ourselves part of, then the possibilities are hard to imagine. Practical applications may very well depend on how well we understand the workings of reality and can envision possible applications. I believe that Moses more or less produced a practical application when he caused mana to fall from the sky. A veritable something from the zero-point-energy of vacuum. Whether or not we take Moses at his word, and consider the event to be historical, there are several other Biblical examples that interest me. Ok, I will henceforth refer to this innovation in perspective as, "The Technology of Adam." The method of application is fairly simple, envision the effect that you desire in the greatest possible detail, then ask for help in producing the desired effect. Assuming that communication may take place from the mind's eye, to the mind of a celestial agent, is a small leap in faith compared to the concept itself. The really tricky part is in getting the self-willed celestial agents to cooperate with your production and do the actual work, assuming that the work falls within their realm of ability. No matter how well we understand the workings of mother nature, we may never get exactly what was wanted, exactly when it was wanted. So I will propose a very simple miracle, the production of mana from heaven, of a better form and quality than what Moses produced in his time. Clearly there are numerous individuals around the world today that are suffering starvation and malnutrition, so we have a fairly good and presentable rational to ask for foodstuffs of all kinds. Just try to envision cuts of meat, sacked grains, flash frozen fruits and vegetable substances falling from the sky and landing near our beneficiaries, the material substance to be produced from virtual nothing and fully formed within the vacuum. Then after you see the event in your mind, or at least a sample of what the event might look like, submit that you desire to see it born forth within reality. Pretty trivial experiment really, would you like to participate, or perhaps even just being aware of the intent would be enough to reinforce the desire. And then after we have asked, prayed, and insisted upon our world's dire need of this aide; we have simply to wait patiently and see what happens. Just try not to think of a side of beef falling directly upon someone's head. :-) Of course I have worked out some other, more interesting applications for the Technology of Adam, but I will not mention them here at this point. It would just be a very lengthy discourse of BS if the basic concept can not be more simply applied and proven.. The concept is so easy to explain that even a very young and uneducated child may be able to understand the basic principle. Understanding how complex forms of matter might be produced within the vacuum of space, is far more daunting. And many of you brilliantly educated persons may have a very hard time coming to grips with the conception of something from nothing, but I believe it falls within the realm of possibilities.
