I'm not sure if this topic has been started before and if it has I'd love to know where. On the issue if transgender Rights for Asgardians: I know it's a while before resources and infrastructure are in place for anything related to health needs, but I have a more immediate question first. As a trans person who has been unable to change his name legally, I was forced to put my dead name when joining Asgardia, since they require the name in your legal documents. I feel it would be far more helpful for trans Asgardians if their certificate actually was able to say their names, not ones they no longer use and the use of which can be damaging. What can we do about this? Also, what could be a projected timeline in which we could legally change our names in Asgardia? And what would be the requirements for this? I also want to talk about trans health care, but I feel like that's another huge topic on its own.

I had to basically hack the source code to get my Asgardia ID because the form doesn't accept numbers and furthermore requires first & last name. Mononyms are common all over the world. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mononymous_person As far as numerals being used in names, I'm far from the only one (see http://www.hackerbotlabs.com/2011/07/open-letter-to-google-plus-failboat/) The form should have an option for mononymous people and those with numerals in their name. At the common law one can use any name they wish at will, as we journey into space we should keep this tradition and break free from the boundaries imposed by less-free govenments.
