I hope you're sitting down for this one Two years ago I was very enthused and like all young startup organizations they need volunteers. The best way to keep an organization alive and growing is by the grass roots level the local groups. I started a local group on Facebook and on Meetup.com out of my own pocket. I paid for the listings. I was hoping that six months of local meetings would bring some people and form a community. On the official as Asguardian website I listed the meetings time date and place. I also friended through the asguardia website 500 people in the surrounding area. Now let's see how this all played out. Of the 500 people I found they do not check Asguardia emails ever. I do not think there emails are forwarded to their home email account, this is causing a black hole in communication. Of the 500 I received 26 acceptances and of the 26 most of them do not check their emails but once every 6-18 months. As for the Meetup.com I got 17 members none of which ever responded to my emails or ever showed up at a meeting. The Facebook group I got a few likes and no one ever said they were interested in showing up. If you have a local group there is a synergy that goes on and many things may grow out of it. If you have a local group you may travel to another local group to see others and share ideas and celebrations. If you have a local group a merchant class will develop, since there are customers. If you have a local group newsletters will begin to be published and communications with other local groups. If you have a local group people are more likely to travel to other groups. (One group that I have belong to had a camping of event 1000 miles away once a year and had 10,000 people on a regular basis for the last 30 years) If you have a local group people begin to share ideas and talents and skill sets. They also recommend other people and other groups and just contacting a person across the country there is a atmosphere of goodwill and collaboration to help.

From what I have read, I believe there is in fact a one time fee of 1,000 euro for citizenship. I also think if you pay the fee you get access to investment opportunities and other opportunities which may allow you to in the long run, get your initial 1000 euro investment back. They may be doing this, but I feel they should allow payment options, as most people don't have 1000 euros sitting around. They should have a monthly fee option as well, but we'll see when parliament votes on it. *** I'm 16 so have about 1.5 years until I turn 18, so I'm getting a job as a cook at our local restaurant to try and get $1,200 for the one time fee and yearly 100 euro fee. ****

I agree. But what can we do besides discussion. Let's try to offer the government a technological project that will bring profit to the country and its citizens. This is what Asgardia needs today. And there is less and less chance of a favorable implementation of the very idea of building a digital state.

Hello! I think Asgardia needs more live communication, meetings and discussions. This requires a formal or informal meeting or Embassy Asgardia format of coworking. It seems to me that the most important task now is to change the course of the consumer society, the transition to new methods of production of goods and waste processing. We're one step away from being on a mountain of garbage. In my family, I try to do everything I can to reduce harm, but against the backdrop of industry and other billions of people , it's a drop in the ocean. We need a global program.
