I'am running for reelection to The parliament of the digital space nation of Asgardia for a second term I don't know how many there are who know of Asgardia Space Nation, asgardia.space. We have been around for six years,. If you haven't heard of us ,maybe you have heard of ROOM magazine which we produce in digital and print form. Many leading scientist and scholars have been published in its pages over the years. Asgardia is a nation of like minded individuals with a common goal, to move mankind into space. Our main goal at this time is to have the first birth of a human in space. We are in association with the company Spaceborn United. We have also been involved in the Series 21 isolation experiment with two of our colleagues and will be involved with the upcoming Series 23 year long isolation test.. If you have read this far you may be asking why should I be interested. And if you are a follower or resident of Asgardia you all ready know. It is election time in Asgardia for its second Parliament. Which will be held on June18-19 of this year. If anyone wantsto be involved in the election you have to be a Resident, yes there is a fee 100€ a year. Asgadia knows that not all people can pay that at one time , and monthly payments can be done. It was Parliament that pushed Through that change. While some can only make a monthly payment ,it does give you a right to vote and be heard. And so you know as of now Parliament is an unpayed post. When our economy grow then parliament will be payed, and only then. We do this out of dedication to the opportunities that Asgardia presents for the future of Humanity. As a member of the out going first parliament ,I have work on various form of legislation, some of which are in use now, such. as the ACT on ACTS.Which was our first law (all Asgardia laws much work within Asgardias constitution) . Many of the laws that have been past are what we in the parliament call frame work laws, which means they don't go into effect until Asgardia has been recognized as a Nation. But can be refined before then. While in parliament I became the chairman of the Safety and Security committee. Where I and other members of parliament developed the Information Safety and Security Cyber Law . Which unfortunately didn't get a vote in the first parliament. The ISSCL follows ISO and internationally recognized standards for cybersecurity, along with Asgardias constitutional requirements. One of the reasons that I'm running for reelection. Another is I am currently working with the subcommittee on the Asgardia2 satellite or satellites ,to be dicided ,to study earth and solar weather. Another reason is that I plan on proposing a Term limits law for parliament of not more then 3 Terms consecutivly. I myself only wish to do 2 terms, that's enough for me. Another reason I am looking for a second term is to help new and younger parliamentarians to understand Asgardias culture. Asgardia is a nation made up of many peoples from many different backgrounds, beliefs, and political systems. Which all have to work together as one unit of understanding. Not to say we always agree we don't, and that's a good thing. Just because someone doesn't agree doesn't mean their wrong or right . Discussions bring understanding. Q1working with likeminded people from around the planet who come from many different back grounds and political systems, And who all share a common dream and goal. What have you been able to change in the development of Asgardia? What was your personal contribution? Q2, I don't know that I can point to any one thing that I have changed in Asgardians development. I have made suggestions, some of which have been used. As far as a personal contribution, I would say the introduction of the Information Safety and Security Cyber Law which I hope to see voted on. Without good cyber security, it would be hard for Asgardia to move forward. What has been your biggest challenge? Q3, Biggest challenge has been time,as it has been for many of us in parliament. What would you wish for the second Asgardian Parliament? What do you think would be their main challenge? Q4, My wish for the second sitting Asgardian Parliament is to relax and Breath. I see a couple of issues 1, See what was done in the first Parliament so as not to waste time on rehashing old items with no traction. 2, Don't make generalities. Not all issues and items have a one size fits all. Could you give a piece of advice to the next Parliament? Q5, Remember, not everyone has a degree, or works with space. Some will be like myself maybe retired military or a store owner, or even just a housewife. So don't make assumption s of how smart someone is by their background. Having found out this morning that Asdardia-1 is said to free fall into the atmosphere leaving it burning up to nothing. As late as Sept. 11 though could happen Sept. 14. As someone who is very new to being part of Asgardia I couldnt believe have much love and effort went into getting this far and only to have it become a tiny fire ball then nothing. But on here I see a lot of people saying to look on the postive side of things. If this event comes and passes, we need to learn from this as well as remember who we are, why we all came together and how much further we are to go. Hello, new here and upon looking through posts on here and seeing some discuss the arc or said space cart that could protect us all and our way of life. Need to design such a craft perfectly. From the hospitals I've seen discussed to the living courters and how and where our food would come from. Some along the lines of a fully personaling green house with enough space for different crops that can be grown together. Must have space below greenhouse to reach the roots of the crops, allowing for immediate examination of possible disease as well as correct PH needed for what crop like wise for lighting and temperature. Anyone in designing or agricultural have anyone to add. I.e how to keep the nutrients in the soil or medium for crops without drying everything out. Must be feeding back into it all. Can't survive on just plants through. Look into other forms of food that can be cared for in realstic order. Fish, crabs, rabbits, chickens. Or we break the tech on 3D printed food but making sure it healthy. Yes, One year till election time for Parliament. I've given it a lot of thought and have decided to run for one more cycle. If reelected, I plan on stepping down from Safety And security Chairman and devoting my time to Foreign Affairs. While in SASEC I and other members wrote a most comprehensive Cyber security law Which I hope will come up for a vote before the close of this Parliament. I will post more later
