Today's central day of the XIV Digital Sitting of Asgardia's parliament was very compelling and interesting to observe, with among other very important items, reports of successful new collaborative scientific initiatives and relationships as we forward our fundamental research toward achieving one of our main missions, safe, sustainable childbirth in space, a vital component of long term human survival off-planet Earth. Decree #57 outlines a new philanthropic fund in Asgardia, the Space Child Fund, which contributes directly to the financial support and success of these scientific missions...I am happy to donate to this cause, so close and important to the world and future, as well as to Asgardian hearts!

Hello, I am a new Asgardian, and cannot wait to get my residence. However, I do find it strange that with all the talk of the future, I cannot for the life of me find a social media application on my android for Asgardian Social networks, or news. I feel as though to grow we need to show that even our way of communicating and updating each other is at minimal, caught up with the present. I am not an app designer, nor do I have money to make one, but I have an idea that some may not have had. (Someone has had this posted before, however, that was around 2-3 years ago.) So please, give this some thought, if you are part of the Developmental side of Asgardia, then please, do bring this up. Growth is key when there is much to learn. We have everything now to build this commercial space station. Asgardia can own one of the private docking ports to establish permanent residence in low earth orbit. Fellow Asgardians. My name is Jorge, and I am running to be a Mayor for the Asgardian community in Austin, Texas. I am a user experience researcher and product designer for one of the largest global tech firms. My day to day work is to understand situations that are considered problematic and design a people-centric solution which is goal-oriented and delightful. I, too, have dreamt of living in space. Space is where my mind wanders when I am daydreaming. Visions of a new era for humanity. Images of exploration victories and images of challenging circumstances. I like to believe that I would take the opportunity to go and colonize a planet or a satellite or a human-made structure if the chance is given. But that is probably pretty far away from now. While in my earthly job, I resolve problems daily, the puzzles that need to be solved to build a space nation are beyond my domain. I do embrace the scientists and astronauts devoting their lives to understand how to get out there. How to stay out there and move on even farther and farther. What I want to do is to spread the word. To find ways to inspire people here on planet Earth to think about space. Inspire people to stretch their arms, to try and touch the sky, and to think ahead, visualize the future. I want to preach the idea of forming a nation that belongs to the universe, a future-ready government that protects Earth and Beyond. A country that is driven by science and data. A government that is transparent and inclusive. A nation for all. I want to be a physical representation of Asgardia in Austin, Texas, and represent the Asgardian government for our digital Nation.
