Hello my Fellow MP elect and all my Asgadian friends

As much as I like what Ivan has done and it does serve a purpose  . I would much rather  have the main area of business done on the Asgardian main servers . This can be done with a dual login system for MPs, Ministry's and government employee's . This can be done from our office areas . As much as we want transparency in governing .We have to have a modicum of privacy in order to conduct the business of a nation. The ministry's have to be able talk to one another ,to be able to work out items of importance .Such as FA working with Safety and security on how best to guard the HON on a trip to such and such or T&C working with FA and E&R on a trade deal with say  with Cuba .  Plus the citizens would have a central place to ask questions of the government or to propose laws thur the government . also the information and communication ministry can keep the citizens and even the none citizens informed as to what is happening in Asgardia via VOA and maybe an Asgardian  TV news channel That can be world wide ? I propose this as a possible solution to a nagging issues   I also like the work that Mr. B has done to set up a site but I'd like to see it incorporated into the Asgardian national Site  for better security . We don't want that to be hacked into.

I'm glad to see that many of us are getting back to basics in regards to what Asgardia is about .

Such are our role in protecting this planet ,and how to go about it .

But at the same time some are getting tunnel vision ,and focusing only on narrow areas of interest

Such as Crypto as our only currency ,while forgetting that not all businesses accept such forms of payment and won't for many more years . While the Nations currency is named Solar ,the Constitution doesn't specify that it be totally Crypto.

The constitution states that SOLAR shall be freely exchangeable into all the main Earthly currencies on the free market on the Earth, in accordance with Asgardia’s laws. in Article 13. 3 Financial Resources I have mentioned this in conversations with others and that Asgardia could ans should have a easy to use hard currency along with an E-currency

A hard money solar which can be back by lets say sliver which is a stable form of mineral wealth , and a E-solar for doing business and paying people for their work and for savings interest in bank savings this makes more sense , As time goes on then E-solar will be the norm .

Another area of concern is respect for our citizens rights as stated in our Constitution Article 8. Rights and Freedoms of Citizens I have seen that some have forgotten this when making replys to posts such as on religion, which lead back to the DECLARATION OF UNITY OF ASGARDIA Chap.1.11 . Asgardia is a nation of free spirit, science, internationalism. Every Asgardian can freely practice any religion of Earth in Asgardia. Which means any where in the Nation of Asgardia which also takes us back to Article 4. Supreme Values of Asgardia ( all )

And lastly Security our main concern will be Cyber . and that no easy task , I believe that the best way to insure our security is to cerate or own Asgardian inter net company like goggle or Alphabet corp. . This will allow us to control our information flow to our citizens ,let us conduct government business and in a separate area allow the public to access the net . This will also enable Asgardia to generate income from advertising which is a muti-billion Dollar a year source

This is a repost of a  text response   I made to a post on the FB page about the possible creation of a 6th branch of service in the US which I call The (Asteroid Rangers)

All earth nations play the same game whether it be nukes or chems . doesn't matter who it is or who gets hurt .The main powers play at proxy wars, they all train together and any Earth nation with a viable space program has already placed weapons of one sort or another in space . China has it killer sats ,Russia has had them for years .And I sure the US has them also . so the next logical step is to place Asteroid Rangers in orbit . First one nation then another and another so on and so forth A lot of what you hear in the news is mutual distraction of the masses .Like I said earlier they all train together . The US and China train their Navies together along, with Oceania and India along with South Korea, Japan and other nation along the south china sea and Indian ocean .Russia and the US train together while at the same time fighting a proxy war in Syria. and China and Russia also train together Asgardias goal and mission to protect the Earth not control nations . We are to keep out of earthly conflicts as per our Constitution . and concentrate our energy's on Science and setting up or Space Arks and outposts . Generating income for Asgardia is also our mission ,from Agro to solar to space mining ,ect..ect... Just saying

Yes

We as Asgardians do want to generate INCOME. But how you ask ,well I have a few Ideas

One is Vertical Farmings Set up in various areas of each district with supply agreements with various stores ,even Co-OPs

Another are Solar Fields owned by Asagrdians which employ Asgardians

For our Computer eng's I'm quite sure that they can come up with a web server such as goggle or explorer  which make millions from advertising

These are some of the  ways to generate Income

I just want to Thank every one who has voted for me thus far. I know that many have sent notifications that they have voted for me .And I have tried to thank as many as I can get to .All I can say is that if elected I will do my best to govern . I want to see Asgardia become The first nation to place Science first , But remember Science takes money .And money is created by the sell of goods and services .That will be a main focus of Parliament at it's first meeting in June. It's a process that takes time . And I'm sure that it will be hard but not impossible . As MPs we have to be realistic in our approach .

There well be disagreements, That only natural due to the varied cultures and political systems we all come from . But in every society there is common ground which creates common bonds . And our differences will what will make us strong

So again I thank you for your votes and most of all your support . For with out that I would not be where I am .

Greeting fellows Citizens    As we all know the Primaries are over and now the serious business of choosing your Representatives to Parliament   begins . And I ask again for your support . I believe that Asgardia will be a educational force in the future of our Solar system . Many of us running for Parliament may not see the first ark platforms to be launch do to our place in this historic venture . the building of the first off world society. This will take many years to do .But how well it goes will be determined by what the first Parliamentarians do . This is a volatile time in history .World powers nashing their teeth shaking fists at each other like children on the play ground not thinking about what their actions could do . Asgardia is a nation that wants to keep from the fray Asgardia is a nation of Science and Learning . Of Freedom for it's Citizens to be their very best ,now and in the future . Yes Asgardias goal is to protect the Earth . But at the same  we have to work hard so as not to be pulled into grounder politics. To be in Parliament is an honor ,but that doesn't compare to the hard work that must be done . The work of protecting not only the earth but our own people .To see to it that they are well Educated ,Housed ,Clothed ,and Feed .And provided Medical care when they need it at all stages in the lifes . We as members of Parliament must insure that the rights of the Citizens are protected .That Government follows the Laws passed by Parliament according to the Constitution .. To all my Asgardian friends

I Thank you for your votes I know many of you live outside my area . But have chosen the English District .And I thank you for that . But let me remind you as well as all Asgardia that as a MP my job and my enthusiasm for what we all want to achive doesn't exstend only to  District 1 . My work and my heart are for all of Asgardia and our people no matter where they live .

In June the first meeting of the Parliament take place and will be very important . In this frist meeting the MP's will have to appoint heads' of ministry's. they will also have to start work on setting laws according to the Constitution . They will also have to make clear a BILL of RIGHTS for the citizens of Asgardia .

And they will also and most importantly have to enumerate Clearly the Powers of Government as set forth in the Constitution .While these are writen in the Constitution many have a hard time under standing due to language and translation

They will also have to determen how to fund the government

You have noticed that I ues the word they and not we .That because voting has not ended yet

and one never knows how ones fortunes may be in such matters

So again I thank all who have voted for me

VR Use for Government  Business and Education

I see that VR will be mostly be used by The Asgardian Government at First .

But just how fast it will be utilized is unknown at this .

I believe MR. Winters. MR. Wong and MR. Cheeseman are on the right path at the moment .

I realize Ross is rethinking some things over ,but I hope he will be involved .

I'd am suggesting that these three  work together on this ,I know it won't be done till some time after the elections.

If not the three mentioned above .I would at least hope one of them would assemble a team to work on this issue. If it's not being done already . Given the information flow

And even then some of our office holders wont be able to afford the equipment ( my have to do a fund campaign) .

VR will have to connected to all the different Ministries In order to conduct even the smallest day to day business  Reports , Inquiries, even customer service .

VR will also over time become an integral part of Asgardias educational institutions not only for the first Asgardians to improve their understanding of space , but also of science in general

Yes it will be a slow process, but not impossible.

Without VR integration Asgardia will be at a stand still for the most part.

Well, I've never really been one to blog, but I figure that introductions are in order.  I'm an engineer and musician who looks forward to a future of peace and equality.  I don't want to run for any parliament position.  I simply want to work and strive for a great society that I can be proud of.

This election is very important .Because who we elect now will set the frame work for many years to come

I was asked if I was going to run for Parliament .I had to think this over .Would I be one of the many who stood by while others did the work of constituting a first of it kind government . Or would I be one of the few who did work to constitute this new government and help set or fledgling nation on a strait course

There are many issues and problems to be hammered out in order for Asgardia to survive past it's first year .I don't run for myself ,but for all Asgardians and for our descendants.

I'm not running to be popular. I'm doing this because I believe in Asgardia and its' people

My platform is one of Defense ,Education ,and Nutrition.

I'll start with my last first Nutrition . Nutrition is very important to a healthy and strong nation. And all Asgardians should have access to food the will keep us and our children strong.

One way is to keep GMOs out of our food chain as much as possible while still here on earth. One way to do this is to set up gardens that grow non-GMO heirloom vegetables and fruits. These Gardens can also sublimit our economy through trade ether locally or internationally .Part of the money made from trade(10%) goes to the government and can be used for research into better growing technics on earth and space aquaculture and aquiculture .The rest of the income goes to the farmers as ether Solar's or in their native currencies or both

My next is Education

A poorly educated people is a conquered people , Education for all Asgardians must be freely accessible from kindergarten to university. It has been shown that children even in kindergarten can learn on a Second grade level .Many of the smartest people came from such learning systems in the 1800s and early 1900s .If possible ,where there are larger concentrations of our citizens we should have our own schools , and where they are more spread out, have online schooling .And all schools should surpass local standards and be accredited all the way to doctorate level .These are items to be worked out by the appointed education minister . I suggest basing our schools on the UN international school system .Asgardians would have free access while any none Asgardians would pay a fee to be used to pay teachers and improve our system of learning

Lastly Defense

This encompasses many areas ,from Physical to Cyber . And should not be taken lightly. Even though we may not have a Active defense force on earth .We will still need to have volunteers' to train as first responders . This will be an important role for Asgardians as we build and establish our reputation as a space nation. This training should  follow closely the Chinese and American model of giving aid and self defense. Cyber Defense is also very important to our nations safety, due to the sensitive nature of some information which must be kept digitally. Such as citizen IDs , banking system, research ect...

Other aspects of defense are training in Unmanned systems which can also generate income through crop and ocean analysis, UAVs can also be used in search and rescue operations .

Military work history.

• U.S. Army Oct 1980to Oct 1983 as a Hawk-missile crew-member. Involved in rewriting the Field Manual for 16 delta Crew-members for the conversion from the Standard Hawk to the Improved Hawk system in January 1981. Stationed 2/2ADA 32ADCOM Giessen West Germany form February 1981 till August 1982.Responsible for maintenance of missile loader, launcher, and the canning and DE-canning of the Hawkmissile Then 3/68ADA Ft Bragg August 1982 till October 1983Honorable Discharge, Rank E-5 acting.
• U.S. Navy January 1984 to October1992 as a Mess Management Specialist. Was a Fleet striker on the U.S.S Independence CV-62 during S.L.E.P. (.Service Life Extension Program) in the  ship yards in Philadelphia PA.

Made rate as a Mess Management Specialist in January 1986 as PO3 went to A-school in March 1986 February 1987 promoted to MS2. Then went MS C-school in April 1987 San Diego CA. .Graduated with Honors June1987. Port and Starboard Galley Capt. aboard the USS Independence for eight months total. Ships Butcher nine months. Bakery for six months. Other duties included Installation of the first Automated Food Service Menu system for use on a Carrier. Also MS and Mess Decks Trainer and Food Stores records keeper till PCS in October 1989 to N.A.S. Meridian Mississippi  Student Training Command Student housing Div. As POIC of Student Drug detection Lab

P.C.S.to U.S.S. Peterson  DD969 March 1991 as Galley Watch Capt. till May1992 Captains personal Chef and ships baker till early honorable discharge( wanted to go into medical Navy wanted me to remain as a Chef )  in October 1992. Other duties were planning menus, ordering  ships food supply, and helped install Computerized Food Service System aboard the USS Peterson.

• Joined U.S Air Force Reserve December 1994 after Navy paper work caught up from ship Assigned to 445 ^th ASTS Wright –Patterson AFB. Went to Hospital- Man A School Wichita Falls TX January 1995 till May 1995 .Then clinicals at Wilford Hall Lackland AFB till July 1995 Did combat medical training in Texas. July 1995 till October1995 work additional duty on general medical floor at Wright –Paterson AFB Hospital also worked with the AES (Air Medical Evacuation Squadron) on medical flights to different countries.

Put in Paper work for early release to go back to the Army in the Reserves. Discharged Honorable E-5 September 1997

• Joined Army Reserve June 1998 as a 91W Rank E-5 .Duties included medical supply.
• Also volunteered for the National Rifle and Pistol Matches Ohio Nat'l Guard Base Camp Perry OH for four years from 2000to 2003
  In2003 volunteered for duty in IRAQ. Got orders On 15 August 2003 to the 401 ST Transportation  Unit in Battle Creek Michigan as Unit Medic. Other duties included Asst Truck Master (Set-up of convoy manning and equipment lists), Unit Personal Medical Records, and Unit training records, International Contract Negotiations for the US. Hi everyone this is my first blog post so please bear with me. First off im an proud asgardia but it means to me is to promote & support new ideas , respect everyone , and prepare for foreseeable future...

People may have ideas & plans right that you dont agree with but it can be change in the future with enough votes and changing of people needs and new technology...

I'm also an transhumanist and I do believe in those technology ( like the movie " Ghost in the shell " ) which I also believe also will aid us to last long enough to atleast step on the complete space station and far out travel amongst the stars

I have only lived thirty years... And yet in that time I feel as though I have accomplished wonders. Looking back, I wonder how I came to be where I am today. I remember the arduous journey, I see the results now, but I still stand in awe I have made so much progress... I have traveled the world, thanks to my father doing security work for the US embassies while in the US Marine Corps, completed my black belt in Tai-Kwon-Do after beginning training in the art at eight years old, free-climbed an eight-hundred-foot tall stone spire called by locals the Rock of Yorin with my father, friends, and other family, won several small local surfing competitions in California and Hawaii, took a career in logistics as a Logistician and Optimizer, study Aerospace Engineering and Advanced Applied Physics at the best school a guy could ever hope to attend, achieved my A- and B-License with the United States Parachute Association for skydiving along with Coach Rating, about to embark on the beginnings of the Seven Summits Expedition next year after a month of mountaineering training in Iceland, and much more.

How does anyone do so much in so little time? Persistence and family and friends kicking me forward every step of the way. Between all of my parents' marriages I have eight brothers and five sisters. Between the guys, growing up was a healthy competition. Blood, sweat, and tears were the currency spent to achieve the next objective.  Having a father who could be hard and unforgiving at exactly the right times and kind and caring at other times gave me the confidence to pursue any damn thing I fancy to master. Impossible is a reckless word; the earlier it is abandoned the better. This little blog post is a tribute to the time and care invested in me by my parents, siblings, friends, teachers, instructors, role models, and mentors growing up and now.

I thank each and every one of you for making me who I am today. I would've stumbled and been lost long ago without you. It would take more space than I have here to list you all, but you know who you are. From the very core of my being: Thank You!!! Blue skies my friends, and may we forever reach higher together.
