Greetings Asgardians,
Science is the fundamental spark to discovery. It is the reason we, as Asgardians, decided to join forces to propel Asgardia to shine a light on our future. We decided to dream, inspire and imagine. To quote Albert Einstein, "
Imagination is greater than knowledge
". With that in mind, what could the possible limit be to our society when we imagine?
The reason we strive to propel imagination is that its ability knows no bounds. This affected my personal influence in the science research field. I coordinated and led a team of six high school students, from Platteville High School, to create a camera stabiliser. This project was selected to be tested by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to assist astronauts. We developed, designed, fabricated and tested our project to be able to help astronauts outreach safely and securely while in space. Our project received high marks for being a first-year project and for being the most revolutionary idea to go through their outreach program. With news coverage

) we were able to use imagination and make a direct difference in the scientific community.
As I strive to imagine the future, I decided to have a direct influence by studying Science Education at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee to become a science teacher. This way, I can help to inspire others to reach farther and use the light of science to help humanity. As it is an educator's duty to challenge and inspire others.
At the end of the day, however, that is why we are all here. We all have unique abilities and are striving to make this world a better place. I encourage everyone to strive to make Asgardia the light in the sky that inspires humanity to reach for the stars.
As Les Brown states, we should "
Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars
". I hope to shoot for the moon with you and let's have imagination be our guide!
