Hello, Everyone!
This topic is Waste management. There are No landfills in space or oceans were you can dump your waste and you can not just jettison unusable junk into space! Things will need to be recycled, reused, or incinerated (or elsewise destroyed safely in the future. ...
Namaste, Asgardians!
My topic for today is why we need a place like Asgardia. Warning, I might get controversial here. Your comments are always welcome, I just ask that you keep them civil! This is a dialog and friendly discussion.
As most of us know, ...
Yes, People should lead by example. Parliament, is a good place to start. Also, by volunteering with Civic Asgardia. I did and had my interview today. Now I am waiting to see if they can use my help!
For volunteering, send and email to: ...
Thanks for the musing, Tal! Yes, we need to live this principle of Unity, leaving behind all prejudices! Not an easy task and I'm reflecting on which method(s) to use starting with the core of our future government: the Parliament... Since shouldn't leaders lead the way in that aspect? ...
Namaste, fellow Asgardians!
I should be getting a percentage or royalty for all these ideas!
As we know, Earth does not have the Resources for such a massive project as the Space Station and Colonies that we are envisioning! We have done enough damage to ...
Namaste, Asgardians!
It is no surprise when I say that Space is a dangerous place! A future job on Asgardia Station, might well be a Telepresence Operator, such as in my picture. Let's face it, the Space station or stations we envision are massive in scope! We ...
A telepresence robot might be cheaper in the long run. Any trained operator could run any robot. Currently, space suits are hand made and fitted to the individual who is wearing it. so, unless you are the same size, only a few people might be able to share a ...
Yes indeed. It would also be good in terms of safety and conserving resources such as oxygen. There will be things that will require a Space walk, but I foresee a time in the future when robotics will be advanced enough that we could minimize the risks that workers ...
Namaste!
As a writer, I picture things in my head, twist, poke and prod them, and then try to put ideas on paper (or Blogs). So, at the moment I am musing on what communications will be like on a future Station. Bare in mind, I am ...
I have seen that too! It is like paint or something! It turns your whole wall into a screen. (Yes, I am an information junkie!) With hand gestures and virtual keyboards it would take up less room. Sit a little cube on your coffee table and have it display ...
LMAO! Sorry! Now I have too many!! Too funny!!
Love your ideas, Dirk!
I have seen those thin displays on Facebook. And public "pads" should be all over not only for emergencies, but think "Space Tourism". How would a non-Asgardian contact someone? I have also seen on Facebook both hand held and earpiece devices that translate! ...
Namaste!
This article is for the Ladies of Asgardia. ;-)
After reading the Chronicle article on the Women of Asgardia being a major minority at the moment, I decided to create a Forum topic area under General Topics, for the Ladies. It is entitled "The ...
Namaste and Good morning, Fellow Asgardians!
It is 9 am, EDT, this first day of Autumn. The sunrise was gorgeous here. The birds were singing and everything was alight with golden color hues. I sit here, sipping my almost ever present cup of tea, with a plate ...
Namaste!
I was just reading an interesting article in the Chronicles, stating that only about 15% of Asgardians are women! For me, this brings up a major concern. As part of that 15%, I am a bit about having women involved and represented in the decision making ...
Namaste, Friends!
While gathering new friends, I noticed how many different languages are being spoken. Some, like myself, only speak our native language. I want to know what everyone thinks and what they are saying! Wouldn't it be helpful if we could have some kind of Translation ...
No. If I have to translate something, I have to go use Google Translate. Even if we just had a tab the pops a Google translate pop-up so you can copy and paste without leaving the website.... Hmmm...Something to think about.
That was my thought as well. All our languages and cultures are wonderful. This is a very international collection of individuals and everyone's voice and ideas are needed. Through talking things over, kicking around ideas and solutions, we can all contribute and help solve problems! :-)
Namaste, Friends!
Because we are all Asgardians we signed on this adventure because we strongly believe in the Core values of Asgardia and in saving Humanity by offering a different way of life. A one in which Mankind "Grows up" and stops acting like bullies in a ...

When I can afford it, China is where my Jasmine Green Tea comes from. The company's name is Rishi and it is based in Portland, Oregon. However, it can be order on Amazon. the loose leaf is the best...I would not recommend in in tea ...
Hey Tal! I got my answers! Awesome presentation! I'm also a tea lover and having lived in China for about 8 years, green jasmine became an acquired taste!
Wishing you luck for tomorrow!
Thank you, Dirk!
I figured that the best way to garner some new friendships was to not be shy and to mention somethings about myself! I left out that I am a fan of Slash & Hack games and am currently playing Dungeon Hunter 5 under the ...

I am not sure if anyone has viewed my candidacy post or not. If not, please look it up and read it. I am running as a Debutant candidate and would appreciate your vote! If elected, I would do everything in my power to protect my ...
Namaste!
Everyone wants to help Asgardia become a Nation, right? This takes work and dedication. As you know, I am a Debutant candidate. Since I do not seem to be racking up votes, I went looking for something else I might help out with! I found it! ...
Greetings, everyone!
I just want to say "Hello", to my new friends who sent me friend requests! I am very happy to meet you and hope that we will have many friendly discussions! I love hearing peoples ideas, hope and dreams!
For ...
Thank you, Ivan! I look forward to chatting with you. We will build this Nation, one friendship at a time! :)
Will creating a new Nation be easy? No. It will take hard work and yes, some compromise. We are a collective of individuals and each of us have our own ideas and hopes. I want to be a hard working person who serves the greater community. I will not ...
Namaste, everyone!
I see that things are moving forward. National Symbols have been voted on and final selection will be made by Parliament. I like the selection to our National Anthem. I find it moving and a reflection of what we all hope to achieve. The Flag, ...
Day by day the Constitution becomes closer to being ratified. Voting continues on our national symbols and progress is slowly being made. It is time to start considering what kind of leadership you want and whom you want to help lead you into a peaceful and prosperous future!
...Namaste, fellow Asgardians!
New beginnings are never easy. While reading in the forum the other day, a question was put forward that I would like to address.
What can we do NOW? (My paraphrase )
Obviously, working towards Nationhood and recognition by the ...
It seems almost overwhelming at times when you consider building a nation from scratch, especially when it is a space going one.
We need to prioritize. First, a presence in space. A foothold as it were.
Second, a Constitution and perhaps a ...

When we speak about Asgardia going to provide scholarships to fund space research, for me it doesn't only mean to finance astrophysicists or spacecraft mechanics exclusively: it involves a whole lot of other financing projects of research on various sides and fields. Like which plant would produce most oxygen in harsh space conditions, what material would naturally disintegrate if exposed to non filtered UV light, etc.
Up to now, this type of research was triggering poor or no interest in the wider scientific community because it was seen as been useless research to lead and therefore impossible to get funding for.
Well, fellow scientist Asgardians, times are about to change! Get your ideas ready! ^_^
