Hello! I joined this organization because i agree with the goals of: peace; democracy in a new country; logical use of Esperanto as The International Language; and other similar ideas.

But, from the beginning i'm unhappy with some of the hierarchies: by language; by ability to connect to tne 'net (i understand that this is the world we have now and that's how the worl is uniting... nevertheless, there are billions who still don't have access, or skills with the 'net); by money especially! One hundred Euros is a sufficiently high cost for a middle class American. But 15,000 Euros is a ridiculously large sum... obviously, from the beginning, rich people will have more Rights.

I hope that this "country" will be able to help create a more democratic, more united, organized society. Let's see.

...I'LL WATCH THAT BLUE FROM THE OTHERSIDE.

a while ago I just paied for my asgardian citizenship. This is my little contribution as a single and little human being for this big project in which I want to believe in to.

I talked to people (including friends) who think this is another marketing action to earn money from people around the world using a sensitive theme to have those people move in their advantage. Or a sort of religious movement trying to raise their followers.

I don't know what is real and not real in this world anymore. I like this planet so very much; I love wandering and getting lost into woods, forests, mountains, far away from society and civilization to heal myslef.

But at the same time I desire living somewhere else on another planet, in another galaxy, through another universe and time, with other species besides Earthlings, yes, one species, one race...

... Asgardia please be real, not another fake lucrative sad reality, which this world is already full with ...

Applying for a med school is one of those processes that can make a student sweat as this is quite long and eventually test the patience of students to the limit. That’s the reason why you won’t see students looking for a chance to make into a med school super confident. And the worst part; even after working so hard, a majority of students don’t make it pass the line. There’s a good reason for this. Let me elaborate my point of view further in this blog.

It doesn’t matter that whether you are looking for a seat in a med school in the US/Canada or any other region close by, you will see a similar trend in the admission cycle. In fact, anyone who has been closely watching the Caribbean medical school admission statistics over the past several years will tell you that over 80% of the students who apply don’t get admission. The overwhelming majority of the students get rejected and the reason is simple; there are not enough seats and the process is extensive and comprehensive in nature.

What’s so Elusive about a Med School Seat?

There are many reasons for which a med school seat is very elusive to say the least. The profession of medicine is a very prestigious one as well as a noble one. The respect a doctor gets is arguably unparalleled to any other profession. Students from a young age dream of getting into a med school. It can be either anyone in their relatives or social circle is in their profession or they come to know that becoming a doctor is one of the best things that can happen to them.

The factors apart from the low number of seats in every med school is the fact that the application process is extensive and may take over 6 months from the time a student first decides to apply. The requirements like MCAT, SAT and TOEFL can be overwhelming for students apart from good grades in their high school which is a prerequisite for any med school in the world. That’s why students need to be on their toes really to give every chance of passing through the process.

Admission Dates, Assistance and Evaluation of the Applications

The fact that admission dates and assistance is really important for students to know is a bygone conclusion. This is where every student can apply in his favorite and a prestigious med school. But the statistics in this regard are eye-opening to say the least. More than 50% of the applicants don’t even pass through the entrance exam so that they can go through the next processes related to interviewing.

It is the assistance that students need that can really make them score high in the entrance test. But before that, it is necessary for students to get assistance so that they can apply with full confidence that they haven’t made any mistake in filling out the form. This is where you really need a student counselor who can offer you excellent support so that you can be cent percent sure about this aspect.

The evaluation part is what can really be nerve-wracking for students as they look for a positive outcome but if the previous part of the assessment is not done right, they falter big time in this. While this is heartbreaking for students as a whole, they get valuable lessons for the future about what not to do and exactly what to do to come out triumphant in this concern. The evaluation of the forms by the concerned authorities is always done with a magnifying glass so as to choose only the best ones and crème de la crème. So as a student, you need to give your best shot for eventual success.

What does that mean when humans are removed from the earth?

How does a person not only maintain their health and well being, but THRIVE?!

How does constant exposure to filtered artificial light and filter sunlight affect a person's Vitamin D levels?

Is ample food which contains the vital nutrients a person needs to survive, able to be produced in space?

How are the plant affected by lack of natural sunlight?

What type of air filtration is needed to maintain optimal health?

What type of water filtration and water conservation is planned?

How will the constant vibration of living on a platform in space station affect a persons health?

Is there a way to mimic the vibrations of the earth?  Will that be enough?

How does artificial gravity affect a persons health?

As parliamentary elections come to an end, it's good to consider what will happen if many of us spend our remaining lives in space.  After just one year, Scott Kelly's gene expression was permanently altered.  Among the many changes, one in particular caught my eye: the lengthening of his telomeres.  These structures have been linked to cellular aging; could we radically extend our lives by moving into space?

Asgardia’s governmental bodies and officials shall not intervene in elections, put pressure on citizens, or falsify elections.

Lately I've been getting a lot of these "Vote for me" messages. If I vote for you it will be because I agree with your views and feel that you well be a good candidate for Parliament. If I am being pressured into voting for someone I feel less likely to cast my vote for that particular person. Not only that, it goes against the constitution pressuring people to vote for you.

I hereby announce my candidacy for the Parliament of Asgardia, representing District #1.  My platform is focused on four areas: privacy, data security, technology, and exploration.  Though our government is still in its infancy, I believe we can lay the ground work for a promising future.

My first year will focus on communications and digital infrastructure.  In subsequent years we will expand on this to start developing our technology and physical infrastructure, eventually leading towards our first human habitation in space.
