Fellow Agardians,

It has come to pass that our Mother Earth cries for our aid more than ever. Millions die regularly on our planet due to ignorance, inaction, and selfishness; much of which is easily preventable. We stand idly behind time-consuming politics and governments, law-makers with no real interest in justice and freedoms. I believe in every case being unique in its presentation, in its truth. We should be putting more attention to letting that truth be known and dealt with properly, updating our judicial laws with every passing issue instead of letting it lag behind the times, which is what makes most legal systems ineffective or unjust.

I will be fighting for our laws regarding how our courts will operate for the people, whether it be to assess criminals, fairness of our laws, and the ethics we wish to uphold in our government and laws. Although, I admit openly, my resume may not easily show why I should run for Deputy Minister I can assure the people that I am no stranger to the laws of several different countries, nor the desires of the people for change and justice. We need change, and waiting around is not the answer anymore. Robin S. Sharma once said, "Leadership is not about a title or a designation. It's about impact, influence and inspiration. Impact involves getting results, influence is about spreading the passion you have for your work, and you have to inspire team-mates and customers." Sometimes it is about getting things done to end the suffering our Earthly rules have created. We need action and passion, yet the ability to assess logically and with humanity.

During my days in university, I had entered up a couple ethics courses that opened my eyes to how little we touch the real issues at hand for fear of being harrassed or assaulted. In a perfect world, no one would be harmed for their personal opinions, but we are far from perfect. I pledge to bring Asgardia closer to the ideal world we all seek, a world where our laws not only benefit, but are appropriately dealt with by all. And how do we acheive a proper setup of ethical and fair laws for our country? Surely, one person alone should not be the one to decide alone. I aim for our social, political, and legal issues to be assessed by the people, rather than a sample of the population. As a parlimentary-- where the people decide how the nation should operate, which by signing the constitution we have agreed to be-- let it be the people that decide how our laws be updated. Let the people become more involved in how we operate our legal systems. If the people are displeased by legislation, let there be a discussion of solutions, not how we should keep it the same. Let the people's opinion matter with our leaders in parliment and courts.

By now, you may be thinking something akin to, "How do you plan to make your claims real?". I've heard from people all around the world, protesting and giving grand speeches with little to no action. I will not be the same. I am not the same. I have a history of acting on my passions, no matter how long they may take. Rome wasn't built in a day, as the saying goes, and I am more than aware of how long it may take to get what the people want through our thick heads. I suggest that we have an open communication between the people and government, a proper channel where interests and concerns are given serious attention. Normally such ways are through social media, or general media, such as television and radio, which are still excellent ways to work together and listen, but we need something more organized and readily available. I am sure there are radio podcasts out there already, but an official station for Asgardia, to stay up to date with our country, government, and citizens, would benefit many, especially translated transcripts for all district languages. Not only would our government-citizen communications be improved, we could feature the latest news about the nation, our citizens, and our resources. What is quite important is the ability to inform the public of ongoing cases and issues in their government so that they may have a say on the matter, allowing a voice in upcoming major decisions. I have learned in life that we as humans often feel the most anger and frustration when we feel we are not heard.

So, my proposal is this: allow me to work in our ministries to give a voice for the people. Allow me to be the person to constantly keep our laws up to date with the times and issues, to serve and protect our nation fairly and justly. We need to help each other, here on Earth. It is time for action, for passion, for humanity!

UPDATE: I am officially stating here that I am running for the Ministry of Information and Communication, and the Ministry of Justice. I hope for a future of equality and equity, fairness for all. I will also be regularly posting to my blog here on the Asgardia website so everyone may become acquainted with me as a candidate.

As a spokesperson for many international and environmental causes, I have learnt that one person could do more, but as a country. If Asgardia will be a member of the U.N., we will have unlimited opportunities to improve our world - in what we educate, teach and even share with the generations to come. We could be a role model for things considered better, for more, for greatness and envy by any other country in the world.

When someone thrives from the heart, it can only grow better. My heart is big for all tasks and thoughts.

Lets create a safe and secure environment for the new begining where people are not judge by there color, race or religion. If you bleed red then you are human, you are my brother or my sister. Let's not forget that in this infinite universe we are stil recognised as a single race called Humans from planet earth so let's become human first. after all humanity is the right to experience your own reality, live out your destiny, and do it in the most harmonious, and peaceful environment possible. Remember love is the sole purpose of the life.

El calor y la alegría de la gente del caribe colombiano, la cual tiene impregnada en sus entrañas movimientos que se dan sin esfuerzo. El atractivo de las letras en sus canciones, provoca moverse al ritmo de su sonido y tararear la letra de sus canciones. La champeta,  es un fenómeno musical y cultural . Proviene de barrios populares, pero hoy dia ya no es raro ver bailar la champeta en los estratos más altos del país. Un género musical que quiero llevar fuera de este mundo.

I am sincerely enthusiastic about the possibility of representing  our Space Nation, Asgardia.  I have a broad background in the sciences, arts, world history (and therefore, well versed in government pluses and minuses)  and am considered to be a good listener, with deep understanding, compassion and respect for all.

I have the time and energy to sort through the myriad details and decisions of founding this community, and the discriminative and creative intelligence abilities to thoughtfully consider the issues, without bias or prejudice.  I had a long career in the health sciences, and so have that to bring to the table but am now a full-time artist and professional musician.  I am especially interested in the aesthetics of life in Asgardia, not only the science and practical aspects of all things off-world, but the beauty and design of the future environment in which Asgardians aspire to live, that which provides a sense of comfort and happiness, and that would be a focus in my participation, hence requesting assignment to the culture committee.

I am diplomatic in all my interactions, and you can count on me to consider all sides of any discussions or decisions with the highest integrity, diligence and focus, as I represent all Asgardians in our new Parliament.  It would be a great honor and privilege to participate in this fascinating, ground breaking, nation building future of Asgardia!
