A Bitcoin whale has recently moved 10,000 BTC to Binance. The reason for the transfer is unclear — but could hint at more downside for the cryptocurrency market. The recent transfer was signaled by Twitter account @whale_alert, which notified the rest of the cryptocurrency community that 10,000 BTC — worth $80M at the time of this writing — has moved from an unknown wallet to the popular Binance cryptocurrency exchange. Whale Bitcoin BTC Intention to Sell? While the exact reason for this move is unclear, but it could indicate the investor’s willingness to sell off their bitcoins. With the sluggish price action on the cryptocurrency market leader, investors might be looking to sell earlier rather than later — with expectations in the market that Bitcoin could reach $6,000. Reaching this target would mean that Bitcoin would go through several support levels significant at $7700, $7200, and $7000. With the increase of Bitcoin transactions to exchanges, whales might be looking to accelerate the potential dump and re-buy lower. However, one can only make assumptions when it comes to the intention of market makers and whales. Furthermore, since the sending wallet is unknown, it is possible that the movement of funds is simply nothing more, and that these particular coins will not be sold. Over the past week, there have been several other alerts with whales moving bitcoins to exchanges. As BeInCrypto has recently reported, one whale moved $24 million worth of Bitcoin to two cryptocurrency exchanges. iOS 13.1.3 and iPadOS 13.1.3 updates aim fix remaining bugs 16 October 2019 Apple’s been rapidly pushing updates to polish the experience provided by iOS 13 as early adopters found a higher than usual number of bugs. The latest iOS/iPadOS 13.1.3 release aims to iron out the remaining mishaps. iOS 13.1.3 will fix a bug with the Phone app which would prevent devices from ringing during incoming calls and squash minor bugs in the Mail, Voice Memos and Health apps. Several Bluetooth related issues are also addressed now. iPadOS 13.1.3 has a smaller list of issues that mainly concern similar problems with the Mail and Voice Memos apps alongside some iCloud Backup problems. New Delhi: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Monday released the first illuminated images of the lunar surface which were captured by Chandrayaan-2’s Imaging Infrared Spectrometer (IIRS) payload. The ISRO released the images on its Twitter account showing part of the lunar farside in the northern hemisphere. The image also shows Sommmerfield crater floor, the sunlit inner rim of crater Kirkwood, Stebbins crater floor, fresh crater Ejecta in Sommerfield crater floor and Stebbins crater central peak.

Student from Pune-based Astronomy Institution Captures Unprecedented Details of Black Hole in a Movie By TWC India Edit Team2 days agoTWC India Image of black hole MAXI J1820+070 (Credits: NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center) John Paice, a student from Pune-based Inter-University Centre for Astronomy & Astrophysics (IUCAA) as well as the University of Southampton, has created a movie of a growing black hole system with details that were never seen before. The black hole studied by Paice and his fellow astronomers is named MAXI J1820+070. Discovered in the year 2018, it resides in our own Milky Way galaxy, merely 10,000 light-years away from Earth, and has a mass of seven Suns. While far from being the biggest black hole around, the interesting thing about MAXI J1820+070 is that it produces flickering electromagnetic radiation. Southampton University released the artist's impression of the event on the popular video-sharing platform YouTube last Friday. The video has already garnered over one lakh views on the site. The black hole in the movie is in the process of eating up a star from its binary system, with the debris material forming a spinning accretion disc around it. Frictional, magnetic and gravitational forces are constantly compressing the black hole, thereby producing an incredible amount of heat and giving rise to flickering electromagnetic radiation⁠—a phenomenon that has been captured by the astronomers in splendid detail. The astronomers used data from HiPERCAM instrument on the Gran Telescopio Canarias at La Palma and the X-ray-sensitive NICER instrument aboard the International Space Station for the movie. A high frame-rate visualisation (more than 300 frames per second) was created based on the observed visible and X-ray light emitted by the black hole system. The astronomers confirmed that the movie is made using real data, but slowed down to 1/10th of its original speed, so as to allow the human eye to discern the rapid flares. The debris material surrounding the black hole is so bright, it even outshines the star that is being consuming. Moreover, the fastest flickers only last for a few milliseconds, with an intensity equivalent to more than a hundred Suns emitting light in the blink of an eye. Through this research, the team of astronomers has uncovered new clues that can help understand the immediate surroundings of black holes, including violent flaring at the heart of a black hole system. The observations also shed light on the operation of plasma flows around black holes. The research paper was published in Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society.
