Dear fellow traveler,
Thank you for stopping by my blog on this wonderful journey through space. I am always fascinated by the idea that the solar system, and all of us by extension, are hurtling through space on its journey around the milky way galaxy. In fact, we estimate to be on the 20th galactic cycle, which pairs well to the upcoming year 2020.
It's not a great stretch of imagination then to say that the earth is a giant space ship, the only vehicle that can keep human beings safe on this long and perilous ride. Yet we are depleting her resources at a faster rate than it can regenerate them, which doesn't bode well for the future survival of our species.
That is why Asgardia is very critical even existentially necessary, now that it looks like we will miss the Paris global warming targets and are smack in the middle of the Anthropocene or 6th Mass Extinction.
Hope to meet all of you someday off-world!
