Over the past couple of days, I have been doing some researching trying to create a space craft that has just enough fuel to carry 10-15 passengers out of Earth's orbit , where it would then launch solar sails and carry them to Mars, as well as inflatable housing much like the ones NASA plan's to use on the moon in 2020, and 2024. I believe this could be the start of our colonization of Mars. If anyone has any ideas on how to make this cost efficient as well as physically sound to protect from radiation etc. while traveling space it would be greatly appreciated.
