Creating a successful economic system for Asgardian business owners will be a cornerstone in the financial well being of the nation. The primary economic structure will most likely be a digital or online market for digital services such as design, marketing, legal aid, product sales, coding, education, and really any service that can communicate online.

An amazing potential for Asgardia is to create a mentor program for successful citizens to raise the potential economic output and general well being of the populous.

A host exchange program for world tourism and enlightenment via cultural experience. This would elevate the national recognition for a true global network. Think of a culturally immersive air bnb if you will. Host families would rent a room, possibly provide a regional tour, showcase the local food and daily routines of the place you call home.

The difficulty lies within establishing incentives for local businesses, those that only operate within a small area like a cleaning service, restaurant, brick and mortar retail, construction, etc... This would most likely hinge on the successful creation of regional management throughout the globe. This i will approach in another post.

This registry, being taxed for Asgardian government operations at a rate set by future officials, will require an assumed marketing strategy and consistent financial support by the general populous. I will look to help build the Pacific Northwest region and create a local network to propel Asgardians here and around the globe.

Universal Basic Income is the concept that everyone should receive a basic welfare to ensure survival and comfort without having to participate in socio-economics. There is some merit to the concept but it is only in its experimental stages right now in only a couple countries and only for a tiny handful of randomly selected people. Essentially what you're asking by instilling a universal basic income for Asgardia is: You don't have to work anymore, the rich will pay you for everything, will you vote for me? In an economic system circulating within a single natino that's one thing, but this is global. You are asking the working people of third world countries to pay for lazy people in first world countries. It makes no sense. The economic requirements of an individual vary around the world from needing $50 a month to $5000. We have no established economic structure so the notion that everyone should be covered in a super welfare net that leaches off the work of pioneers, entrepreneurs, scientists, engineers, or laborerers that have the same job as they did before is preposterous. And I swear if you are trying to make up utopian concepts for a space station that our President himself has stated he won't live long enough to reside on, then you are way out of touch with the real Asgardian movement. Earth to candidates, you are still on Earth.

I've been reading many profiles and candidates claiming to fight for a "Direct Democracy." A system where all citizens have direct voting power like congress or parliaments currently in the world. This is not a good idea for many reasons. The simplest one being that the population doesn't have the time or expert experience to understand the right direction to vote in most circumstances. We also should not be obligated to stop our peace or business to vote on critical national defense measures and social policies. The world and it's politics aren't just a show, they are a real battleground for serious people trying to make the world a better place. I believe in a social democracy but one with representatives broken down in an understandable matter. The position of minister is not a joke and represents a serious responsibility to knowledge and expertise on the subjects of Macroeconomics, international law, international politics, party politics, international agreements, and more. If you are running without expertise in these fields, then you are just an active ideologue and I am deeply concerned how you will impact this government and its society, or how easily you will be manipulated.

I have requested friendship with over 400 members from Salem to Seattle. Most of these are those who appear on the map when i highlight a city. This seemed to only include those that have uploaded photos and might have had a 10 person cap per city. I will look into the bigger cities such as Portland, Tacoma, Seattle to see if there are more active members in the area. My goal is to unite the Pacific Northwest for inspiration, motivation, organization, and power of voice. We have the ability to truly shape this movement and it is an important time right now as parliamentary elections are starting up. I know It has been awkward at times but I appreciate the continued emphasis on the community having the responsibility to what this society truly represents, and if you want something you are encouraged to engage in the pioneering work to make it happen for everyone. Lena De Winne's livestream on facebook and President Ashurbeyli's press conferences have made many things clear.

Logic is a very important tool, if not absolutely necessary, when discussing, comparing, and analyzing the potential of different concepts. My time as strategist will be spent to ensure solid communication between citizens, experts, and government officials to maintain a transparent, fair, and informed policy making process. I will do what I can to understand petitions as they are proposed, to correct clerical errors if necessary to prevent them from defaulting out of the system, to find expert opinions on their contents, and share all information to attract potential signatures and expose the contents for community discussion.

If elected I will also put forth my own petitions in an attempt to form stronger and more informed communities. As we patiently wait for the construction of the initial interim government, I am designing proposal to create an organization that grants free access to information about learning strategies, the practice of logic, and how to be tactful when discussing topics. Most importantly I want to create a space, most likely a website, for everyone to access these things so we can have more positive and open discussions on and off the forums.

An open and logical dialogue between each other and the bodies of government will create a stronger more intelligent union. One Humanity, One Unity.

Now this could in a way be the defense for the off-putting language ratio separation of parliamentary seats that has been presented. But it's time i start putting in my 2 cents on the important things. If we separate our societal representation by language then it will ultimately lead to strange politics where representatives of the 7 lesser languages will only represent a small amount of people and the too few to count minority language users will have no representation at all. As an international community we cannot just let there be segregation of language use. How the parliamentary district seats should be separated is a whole other discussion but this is a key aspect of the issue. It especially makes no sense when a key value is to make space more accessible to those within third world countries.

Another issue is that the English language has become the automatic source language so you must know English to understand what's going on with Asgardia. The forums, our only form of communication at the moment, is literally segregated by region. I thought we weren't doing region's. If we're going to separate into region's then the parliament should represent those regions.

I don't mean to raise too much alarm about the infantile system we're just starting, just the ambiguity of the language policies seem to be confusing and have the potential for discrimination.

Although I could've simply chosen to put my real name as my username, I still wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to have an alias. אבינדב (Hebrew is read right to left), or in english, Avinadav, is a Hebrew name I picked out while I was inspiring myself to go to Israel to see a good friend of mine. I picked it because it was one translation for Patrick which means "Noble" as Avinadav supposedly means "My father is noble." I feel like it is very relevant considering the father of our nation, Igor Ashurbeyli, is literally a nobleman. I am not only referring to the constitutional monarchy, but to his earthly heritage as an Azerbaijani noble. In my candidacy I wish to represent a broad concept of this nation. To be successfully democratic the people must be diversely educated, honestly informed, and free to express themselves peacefully without judgment or fear of reprisal. To be a society we must work together and understand not only what our leaders want for the nation, but what the citizens want and need as well. This will always be a complex struggle as not everyone's desires can be completely fulfilled. This is the result of compromise and cooperation and it makes for a stronger nation.

Although I wish for everyone's voice to be heard, I must be fair and state what my thoughts are on the subjects that have been discussed thus far. It is only reasonable for me to prove my fitness for leadership by expressing my opinions while still discussing and working with others'.
