3. And why, if the documents (logically) preceeded the company, are they so secret?

5. And why both asgardia.com and https://www.asgardia.com/ both redirects to https://store.asgardia.com/ if this is an NGO?

I have found a few references to ROOMb (the online magazine) at their partner sites, but none directly to AIRC. Most of the references are either as donors or as exhibitors.

Thanks for clarifying things, I'm used to read my mails and forum replies only after my work (usually very very late, like it was 2:20 am when i wrote this), and since English is not my first language, i misunderstand or misinterpret few things said (to translate things when exhausted is not a good mix). Still, i think that our current admins are old enough to know if they're overdoing or lacking of replacement/help to accomplish their duties fully and correctly (we're already over than 170 000 Asgardians, and surely thousands could be pleased to help  in a more concrete way... just look at how many flags been suggested, or at how many people offered their help when they asked for translators)... until future real elections. I seriously doubt that any nation perfectly worked after their first 6 months of existence.

I thought this discussion (as in the title) was ment to debate about the no-confidence petition?... If it was only ment to encourage/convince people to sign it, or only ment for these who want to sign it, it should be specified somewhere... i'd just turn my heels and peacefully walk away. Like you, it's also my duty as citizen to affirm my confidence/no confidence in the "interim Asgardian government". We'll always need official opposition to defend the rights of the citizens, as good debates are more than a need in any sane democratic nation. Personally I'm pretty sure that when the constitution will be voted (next June 18th aka Asgard 1st), things will settle like they should (more like you and I would like it to be)... it's why i preach patience for the moment... at least until we'll have a constitution (in 2 months) and depending of the type of government and democracy we'll want to establish.

Please link to the document authorizing you to act in this capacity. It is news to me.  A previous statement by Rebekah Berg indicated that Moderators and Administrators explicitly do not have the authority to act in a representative capacity of Asgardia, so saying your actions are direct reflections of his personal will is the total opposite.

If you can not produce written confirmation that you were authorized in such a way, then the authorization did not happen.

I believe that if we are all equal before the law, this question should not be raised. Everyone should be responsible for their actions. Now, when you act as Head of State, I would distinguish, depending on the form of government adopted by Asgardia. To be understood: the more concentrated the power of decision, the greater personal responsibility. And depending on this, you must respond in your measure of the decisions made.

Now that we have servers that deal with PETABYTES of information ( my supercomputer that is 75% finished has an IOS of 1.3 PETABYTES  ) means that petitions and e-mails can create the perfect democracy and one that does not need to have any kind of " gatekeeper " to filter e-mail or any type of communications. To be blunt, that is one of the reasons I joined the citizenship of Asgardia in the first place.

One of the reasons I enjoyed working at Cray Research was that there was only ONE PERSON between me and Dr. Chen, our VP that created the X-MP and Y-MP supercomputers.

That information, if given to our founder and political chief, might get our ideal space platform built in far less time by putting up faster schedules that could be possible when an experienced leader is at the helm. I have NO interest in ANY politics, many of which MUST not be used in the governance of Asgardia. PEOPLE, NOT POLITICS should be first and foremost for our Arkologies ( the word I made up for our space and experimental Terra people habitats ).  Arcadia is still going to need skiled people to BUILD AND TRAIN others to their skill sets over time. I deal in FACTS, not paperwork and people who create it.

If that is not good enough for Asgardia, I have been approached by a salary based headhunter over the weekend to manage Projects for an unnamed company that is involved with high-performance energy systems. My guess is that Tesla wants data, evaluation and Tech Support for home to large industry power solutions. Since I managed the lab at Bolder Technologies, this may be a perfect fit. I guess if my services are not wanted or needed at Asgardia, I could find other ways to get off this rock, like the first planned Mars mission by just e-mailing Elon Musk about my future plans.

The problem with a true democracy is that many people think that they don't need Engineers and Hardware " experts ". They assume all they need is to read some books to become an instant " expert ". That kind of thinking is why many democracies fail. Pushing paper ( or e-paper ) around does not get anything accomplished. We need to get rid of the bureaucracy and make a clean slate of government. Sorry, I was unclear in exactly what I want to send to Dr. Ashurbeyli because, as a mod advised in another thread, it is unwise to air dirty laundry in public.

I did not wish to generate controversy or make Asgardia look bad in public, as such I had hoped to deliver a complaint directly to Dr. Ashurbeyli, who I suspect would have been able to quickly and quietly resolve the issue.

However, for the sake of clarity and in the interest of being able to have this issue addressed and having received multiple requests to specify what exactly I wish to send to Dr. A. I will soon be reposting the following in a longer, more formal format as a formal petition and request (e-)signatures from fellow Asgardians in a dedicated thread that I will ask to be stickied by the moderation staff and that, after an appropriate period of time for the collection of signatures, I will send it by mail to the service address on the impressum page, for lack of any other known address.

I think the point is, we have at this moment a mixture of immigration and establishing a new constitution.

We want establish a new state, with new constitution/governement without being citizens at this time...   And we begin to discuss which kind of laws we want to have.

In a few months, when all suggestions, Changes of words, meanings,... are made,and all is written down and reworked and so on, than  we make a poll.

And then all of us have to decide, if they agree to the resulting constitution or not. If I can´t agree to the constitution, than i don´t want to be part of this community.

The Problem is, how long and in which way we (as future citizens of asgardia) have the time and the opportunity to change / rework  the draft of the new constitution, until the conclusing poll.

Plus no one is on about mass deportation, we are on about the granting of citizenship, I still can't get into the USA without a visa, if I sneak in, I would be sent back would I not unless I applied and accept the laws and responsibilities as a citizen and become a citizen of the US of A
