My mission, since 2006 when I founded the Ocean Exchange, has been to help discover the protocols & best practices for the next stages of the evolution of mankind & to help distribute power, wealth & influence to as many people as possible. I was born in Iran, lived briefly in Pakistan, spent most of my adolescent & adult life in Canada (where I am a legal citizen) & have been living in Brazil since December 2012 so I consider myself a person of the earth: of no nation and of all nations at the same time. In 2008 I was introduced to the Seasteading Institute, becoming its lead ambassador in 2013, with a vision for a future in which 1000s of autonomous city-states would exist within international waters. In 2014 I helped cofound OpenBrazil, the national affiliate of CodeForAmerica & CodeForAll, a grassroots group of citizen hack-tivists looking to make society better via agile development of Civic Technology, Open Data & Open Governance systems. Most recently I've cofounded JUPTER where we are leveraging the three pillars of "Open (tech stack), Science (first principles) & Origination (launch stage)" to help discover the science behind the development of the lifecycle of technology startups via our mission to Find, Fund & Launch the future!
