Hello, fellow Asgardians! The elections have officially begun.
After looking around for a while on the candidate page, I did not find anyone that had the same views as I do. (Could've been the lack of any real sorting on the page). That's when I decided to run myself.
Now what a lot of candidates forgot to add was what they were really going to do. They had some kind of inspirational message instead. Sure it's nice with a bit of inspiration but that doesn't really make anyone want to vote for you.
Let's start with some background information.
I was born in Karlstad, Sweden and lived the first eight years of my life in a house in the Swedish countryside. My dad got a job opportunity in China and the whole family moved there. I learned to speak English and Chinese fluently during my 5 year stay. I actually prefer English over Swedish nowadays!
After my China adventures, it was back to good old Sweden. I started taking German classes and became a good listener but not as good at speaking. Being an adventurous family, we didn't stay in Sweden for more than two and a half years. Dad got a job opportunity once again, this time in Italy. In Italy, I went to the International School of Florence. That's where I am in life right now.
I have been interested in space for as long as I can remember. There's so much potential. We are currently living in the transitional period. The period between exploring the Earth and exploring the stars. We will lay the foundation for future generations, it all depends on us. Humanity can no longer be divided, no longer tied to our little planet. We need to move outwards.
If I am elected, I will fight for the following things:
-Affordable Space Travel
-Heavy focus on research in different fields of science. Especially physics.
-New propulsion method development
-Asteroid Mining and Asteroid Habitat Building
-Freedom of choice - You decide where you want your tax money to be spent
-Nuclear Fusion research
-0% Unemployment Rate - There will always be jobs available for people who cannot find a job themselves
-Equal Opportunities - Every school in Asgardia should have the same standards, no matter where in the Universe it is located. It is possible, however, to have different schools dedicated to different jobs such as a school for science or a school for engineering.
-Everyone in Asgardia has the right to choose where they want to live, work, go to school, etc. Freedom is important in life.
-Financial support for promising startups
-And anything I haven't mentioned that is listed in the constitution.
